the news coverage has been vast, mainly focusing on which party leader is the best dressed, it has all been about image: referring to leaders getting a "popstar greeting" - full of endorsements from celebrities for all major parties (I shake my head at you Micheal Caine) - it is shameful really. I hope people vote who they believe has the best policies as well as the team behind the man to achieve what they have said. there is no doubt my vote goes to Labour; I don't give a shit if gordon brown isn't mr. personality, he is an extremely intelligent man and has respect across the globe.

the tories getting full power of this country would be catastrophic, in my opinion.

I feel I must agree with you that it does not matter whether the prime Minister is Mr Personality or not.

What does matter is getting the job done the way that the Electorate want/need. We all know there are some hard decisions to be made & there will inevitably be cuts to frontline services,but these have to be managed properly with minimum effect on the people who need these services.

What we do NOT need is tactical voting,that would be an absolute disaster. Because of the scaremongering in the popular press this has already wiped millions off share prices and could well damage an already fragile economy

Sod that we DO need tactical voting. We need every single under-handed tactic in the book in order to keep the fucking conservatives out!

there have been some surprises so far and I am just relieved that the conservatives aren't reaching that exit poll estimate, and missing some seats. wonder if the lib dems will ever pick up some momentum? - they are getting the same results as 2005, so unexpected considering all of the buzz around clegg. they are welcome to take seats - if not labour then it has to be lib dems. it's by no means over yet though, going to be a long night!

joy, a hung parliament. now im slightly confused.

Lets hope Labour can somehow pull a coalition together with Lib Dems and SNP, otherwise another 5 years of misery in Scotland....Torries getting in is a disaster!
