The clock was drawing near. It was almost time for the celebration to start, and that meant Evangeline needed to finalize all the details that were about to take place. The sun had risen and she'd been up all night perfecting the details for everything. Her head bodyguard had come into her office with a cup of coffee for her.

'Here boss, I thought you could use this right about now.' Manuel said as he placed the cup onto her desk

She took a drink of the beverage and continued her project. A couple more hours into the project and a cold cup of coffee later and she felt things were finally complete. Thankfully she had some help toward the end from a couple other New York residents. Without them, the project wouldn't have been as sweet.


You asked for it! Now with more gray hair. Godfather Deimne has turned a year old today. As some of you may know, it's not such an easy feat but the leprechaun did it. I think this calls for competition time!

Competition #1

How I Met Deimne

How did you meet Deimne? Did you stumble across him in the streets after a long night of drinking? Did you see him in a questionable position with Sherminator but were too afraid to repeat any of it for fear of your life? Did find his hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?

We want to know. How exactly did you meet this man? Even if you haven't met him personally, I'm sure you've got a story or two about the first time you saw the man.

Publish your story for everyone to see. What you need to do is write out your first encounter with the Godfather of New York and post it up on the nearest lamp post or liquor store door, or stand on your favorite corner and tell it for all to hear.

You need to title it 'How I Met Deimne'

The most unique recollection of the event will win One Million dollars.
Second place will win $500,000.

All entries must be published in the streets no later than May 13 at 10:06. Each entry will be judged by a panel of selected personnel.

How Many Coins in the Pot of Gold

Guess how many coins in the pot of gold. Each guess costs $50,000. The winner will be the person who guesses closest to the real number without going over. The winner will receive all the money collected for guesses. If there is a tie, the jackpot will be split by the people who tied.

Age Appropriate

Who can tailor the best age appropriate suit for Deimne. We've all seen the man at some point or another. Whether it be walking down the street with is men, making a speech on the streets, or drinking coffee in his favorite coffee shop. Now some of you may have noticed his suits are a bit young for him. He's still trying to fit in with the younger generations. Sometimes he can pull it off, and others just make you wonder what he was thinking when he work up that morning.

This is where we need all of you. Whoever can come up with the best age appropriate suit for Deimne will win $500,000.

Submit all of your entries to Evangeline by May 13 at 10:06. After that point a panel of judges will pick the best suit and present it to Deimne and the winner will pocket a nice half million.

Kilroy winks at Evangeline in a futile attempt to flirt his way past the impending failure of his half assed guesses.

Evangeline smiles back at Kilroy, then proceed to speak with her accountant on the amount of votes that have been entered. She's sure Kilroy was pulling out all the stops trying to win the Pot of Gold. She wouldn't be surprised if he'd even tried the same moves on ScreamingButterfly. He's a bit sneaky like that.

Kilroy, my good man. I see what you're trying to do here. Keep it up if you wish, the truth shall be known shortly.

May I just say to ALL of these great people who have told their stories about meeting the great man, that I have not had such a good evenings entertainment in a long time. Some of these stories are truly moving, another is hilarious. I wish all the judges the best of luck deciding the winner and hope that their BG's are on top form to repel the losers.

They all deserve to win for the way that they have told their own story( be it true or false) and I take my hat off to them all
