Terrible night, she thought to herself. What a terrible night.

She woke up with a slight headache and a black eye. Still, she was not sure what exactly had happened. All that she remembered was this... guy. He was tall and muscular. Blond-haired. Good-looking.

After a couple of drinks and some cookies with a peculiar taste being slipped over the table, he had slapped her. Just like that. Knocked her over and attempted to start a fight. Luckily, the bartenders noticed, and she got away with a black eye and a little blood dripping from the nose.

She stepped out of the bed and went to the bathroom immediately. A little make-up did not help very much, so she decided it was better to just leave it there. Hopefully, the others would not comment it.

From the room to the right she could hear someone snore. Loudly. Even louder than her dad's snoring. As she had thrown away her regular, boring life, she had moved somewhere else. Somewhere safer in a community full of fellow mobsters. Although they were all criminals like her, it still felt like some sort of home to her. They were much kinder than those from high school, and everyone looked out for each other in this place. Sometimes a little too much. Of course this place was not always quiet. Rogues happened. Spies happened. Wars happened.

Almost everything happened in this world.

She walked to the other room and knocked the door open. BaconSandwich was lying in his bed with the sheets only nearly covering his glowingly white body, still snoring.

"Wake up!" she yelled into his face and shook his body. "Don't you remember that thing we planned to do today? It's nearly three pm, and we still need to gather more people. And the details - we better not fuck up this time. We need to organize this thing!"

The snoring stopped. He opened his eyes slowly and placed a hand above them to prevent being blinded by the sun.

"Just let me sleep," BaconSandwich said grumbly and turned to the side. "You - you can organize it. You are the... leader... aftera..." His voice slowly faded into nothing, and he fell asleep once again.

She shook her head and tried to wake him up once again. "This is important to us. We need the money. I have contacts. They will give us lots of them as long as we deliver him - tonight. Alive."

She sighed as she watched him pretend to sleep. "There will be a free sandwich for you if you go with me. Just get up, please."

Like she expected, BaconSandwich stared back at her with happiness. "I will do it," he mumbled and slowly got out of bed. He yawned and did not care to warn her about his lack of underwear before standing up and stretching out.

"Ew," she said as he got up. "I am not sure the world wishes to see you like that. I mean, it is almost as if you are the sun itself! It hurts my eyes to be looking at you..."

He turned around and looked at her without even saying a word. "Let's just get this mayor situation overwith. Do you know anyone who might be able to join?"

"I think so," she said and stared out the window. From there she could see the HQ on the other side of the street. "I know someone, yes. Hopefully they are not too busy with something like war."

First word: War. Last word: Immigrant. If this is the last post then the last word is: Terrible.

War... War, BaconSandwich thought for himself. Why did she have to mention that. Bacon hasn’t even been awake for more than 2 minutes and she already blabbed about war.

Sometimes refusing to wake up and going back to sleep would be a dream come true. Literally.

Unfortunately today was not one of those days, even though it technically was his “day off” as he liked to put it, CookieSandwich clearly didn’t care at all. However, this was for a good reason. Bacon yawned, stretched his arms, and got dressed within seconds, and with a rusty voice he said.

“If we are thinking about the same person, I highly doubt he is busy with a war at all, the only war he would be busy with, would probably be losing in poker as usual. I assume we are talking about Gregos or maybe even Gabriel?” he asked.

In the end, it didn’t matter anyway, they had already planned most of it, it had been taking weeks to get everything this well organized, and every single member was needed, and expected to do their part. It started out as a rumor, as a foolish plan, but after a while it had begun to evolve.

The job this time was not just another shoplifting, it was not just a simple extortion, no, this time they had agreed on doing the impossible.

Kidnapping the mayor.

Very few obviously knew about this, and Bacon was anxious just thinking about it, but he could not let his leader and the family down. He snapped out of his gaze and said;

“Let’s find the rest, as far as I am aware Gregos, Satain and Gabriel also agreed on this. Each have their own role and as you are aware every man is needed. Let’s start out by finding Gregos, he is probably still at the casino, grab your finest suit and let’s get going”

Usually he would hold the door and let CookieSandwich walk in front, just for a chance to get a quick look at that fine butt. This time however was different, with solid confidence he walked out of the room first after unlocking and opening the old wooden door.

A breeze quickly followed the second they walked outside, sounds of cars honking and people walking were as usual occupying the busy streets of Venice Beach.

It was a sunny day, no clouds in sight, and most people were enjoying this fine day.

“TAXI!” Bacon shouted, and within seconds a taxi pulled over and picked them up.

“Where to, sir?” The taxi driver asked. “My lady here and I would like to get driven to the casino please, you know, next to this recently closed liquor store was set one fire last week.”

The driver didn’t have anything to say. And with a quick start, off they were.

Bacon looked at Cookie who was unusually quiet today. Probably because of the plan he thought to himself. She was usually always ready with a quick remark and a slap when Bacon went too far as usual. But not now. Now it was time to do business.

A few minutes later they arrived at the casino. After paying the taxi driver they both exited the Taxi, and seconds later were at the entrance.

They were both let in without any issues at all, they were one of the finest customers here, and after shaking hands with the owner, they quickly found Gregos at the poker table, laughing while he for once looked to have lady luck on his side.

Bacon decided to take the initiative, and greeted Gregos, hoping it would remind him of the plan today. Gregos quickly said hello, and went back to his pokergame.

“Excuse me Gregos, can you please leave the table and follow me and Cookie? I hope you haven’t forgotten what we were supposed to do today. We are all getting ready, and you sit here and steal all the money like some sort of illegal immigrant.”*

First word: Immigrant. Last word: Label. If this is the last post then the last word is: Terrible.

"Immigrant? You're calling me an immigrant? Bacon do you know that to some people that would be considered an insult," Gregos said. "In fact I think that is the gist of your comment, , that somehow being an immigrant is a terrible thing. Maybe in the current state of affairs it's even a popular theory. But remember this thing we have, it was started by immigrants, immigrants who couldn't get a break in this country. They had to make their own way because everyone looked down on them."

"So you're losing big time then," said Cookie with a wry grin on her face.

"Very much so," replied Gregos. "You arrived just in the nick of time. I'm just about cleaned out. In fact I wish you had gotten here sooner. Sorry guys I've got to go. I have some important business to take care of. Besides I think I've left you with enough to buy your kids many pairs of shoes."

The other players grinned as Gregos and his crew strolled into the bright sunshine of the day. "Ouch," said Gregos. "Sunshine who needs it, especially after you've just dropped 5 G's. Oh well c'est la vie eh?. Well guys let's get going here. Maybe a quick cup of joe if you don't mind." Gregos slipped into a nearby cafe and emerged seconds later with a cup of  steaming coffee.

"So why don't we take him at his house," said Gregos. "There'll be fewer people around. His wife always sleeps in and the kids will have left for school. Won't three of us be enough? Are you sure we need Satain and Gabriel.?"

Bacon grumbled, "Damn right we do. If I have to get up then so do they."

"There's more to it than that Bacon, and besides I had to watch you get up," said Cookie. "My eyes are permanently scarred. You've probable forgotten Gregos but this is more than a snatch and grab type of job. This mayor isn't very popular. A lot of people have lost their jobs because of him, mostly civil servants. Remember when he contracted out the garbage collection to a private firm. A lot of our guys lost their livelihood. The nerve of that piece of crap. Didn't this idiot realize that garbage is the domain of this thing of ours? I think he does which is why he's got lots of bodyguards around him. We have to pick them off one by one before we can grab his worship the mayor."

"You're right Cookie," said Gregos. "Alright let's go get the others. Anyone know where Satain is?"

"Yeah I do," said Bacon. "Unlike you Satain is not a night hawk. Satain goes home every night, has a glass of milk and a couple of cookies and is in bed by 10. By the way I know this might seem like a dumb question but is Satain a guy or a girl. I've never had the nerve to ask."

"Interesting question," said Gregos. "But in our business, man or woman what's in a label?"

Report Post Tip

First word: Label. Last word: Benevolent. If this is the last post then the last word is: Terrible.

He still didn't quite know how it had happened but within the last 24 hours he had picked up the Label of Crew Leader. What a change that had brought around to his life. From fart-arsing around pretending to assist his former boss with her duties and ideas to suddenly having to take it all on his self.

To make matters worse, he had just come across a note from her, discussing the plan to kidnap the mayor, and that date was the today. The late Anteros had been dealing with all the details, he was just going to wait for the day to come and do what he got told there and then. Now he expected there was a plan in place and he had absolutely no idea about any of it.

He did know CookieSandwich was involved so had some of his bodyguards go out in pairs and find where she was. In the mean time he got himself prepared as best he could. Made sure he was respectable, packed his weapons, knuckle dusters and a couple of pistols. He also grabbed a balaclava and some cord, plus a couple of surgical knives.

A loud bang on the door followed by one of his guards stumbling straight in. "We found CookieSandwich Boss, she was with BaconSandwich on her way into the Casino. I've got a car outside waiting now, if your ready?" He didn't reply just picked up his jacket and suitcase and motioned for him to lead on.

Just as the car was nearing the Casino, Gabriel spotted The Sandwich's outside a Cafe, he tapped the driver on the shoulder. "Pull up here, go and have some fun for the rest of the day, i will be busy until tomorrow" stepping out the car he smooths himself down and begins walking towards the Cafe. CookieSandwich and BaconSandwich seemed to be just waiting out side for something. At that point Gregos came out with a steaming cup if Joe. As he arrives upon them he tries to greet them as if this was always the place he was going to meet them.

"Hi guys and gal. Good to see you CookieSandwich as always and you too BaconSandwich, its been far too long, we must catch up some time after all this. Hey Gregos, on the Coffee i see, you been at the Casino's again? I hope it was fruitful?"

"So, we all good to go? anymore guys to collect? I know were a couple short what with the recent untimely deaths in my former family"

After listening and hearing that there is only one more guy left to pick up, he know its going to be hard but tries to be positive

"Okay only Satain left to pick up. Well we could always use more, but then there always more that could go wrong too. I think, no i know us five can do this and do it well"

"Come on then lets be off and do this. The guy is certainly no Benevolent mayor that the rest of city are going to be upset with what happens to him"*

First word: Benevolent. Last word: Science. If this is the last post then the last word is: Terrible.

The benevolent and caring crewleader, Gabriel , caught up with CookieSandwich, and they discussed the plan briefly. Like Gregos had said, they were going to his house in the evening, when everyone but the mayor was asleep. During the last couple of days, CS had been spying on the mayor through his windows to get to know him a little more.

Around 9pm, the mayor and his wife would put the kids to sleep and turn off the lights in their room. Secondly, they would go back to the living room, where they both sat down with each their project. Either the wife would sit there knitting or reading a magazine. It changed from time to time. Usually, the mayor would walk over to the table with their radio and supposedly turn it on - then grab a book and start reading while sitting with the wife in the couch. It had looked like they were having a nice time.

Later on, after little cuddling here and there, they would both head for the master bedroom on the second floor. Through the window she could not see much - only a little of the furniture and all the fancy colours. She was not sure whether that was good or bad, because soon after loud moans could be heard from the backyard.

I wonder if my sexlife will last for that long as well, she thought to herself and started to like being that young. There were still lots of years before she turned 60, and hopefully her bones would still stay somewhat intact.

After this, she would see the lights being turned off in the bedroom and turned on in the study room. The mayor seemed to enjoy working, or whatever he was doing, by himself in the middle of the night, and he would be there from approximately 10.30pm to midnight before going to bed.

That was when they would strike. His study room was on the second floor as well - they would need to enter through the front door with the key they had snatched. Well, taken a copy of. One of her members had been brave enough to quickly steal it, make a copy and put it back where it was without no one ever realizing it was gone.

BaconSandwich, Gregos, Gabriel and herself had had a nice evening close to the mayor's neighbourhood. There was an amazing pizzeria nearby, where they had their dinner. Fortunately, they met another person who was glad to help - RichardMarcinko was eating at the same place, and they all sat down at the same table.

Alright, she had said and leaned over the table to catch their attention. This is gonna be big. No one is dropping out now. If Satain arrives, he can still be of help to us. But we cannot wait much longer - soon, they will be putting their kids to sleep and cuddle a little in the couch. Once they start having fun in bed, we will enter the house.

We will go through the front door - his bodyguards will be waiting for us in the frontyard. Five of them. We will sneak up behind them, killing one each. The easiest thing to do is grab them by the neck, put your hand above their mouth and strangle them as soundless as possible. You have all tried it before.

Each of them nodded slowly and looked at each other. This was gonna be big.

Now listen. If something goes wrong, whisper the word 'science'. I, and the rest of you, will know it and help you. Simple as that.

Once we are inside, we slowly walk through the house, find the staircase and go up there. Again, remember to make as little sound as possible and keep an eye over your shoulder. Look out for each other.

Afterwards, we will wait until he goes to the study room. Once he is in there, he will sit with his face towards the window. I am still not quite sure how we will do it from this point, so let's try and hope for the best.

About an hour later, they had entered the property smoothly and slowly approached their assigned bodyguard.

One of them - CS did not know who - stepped on a twig, and they all stopped at the same time.

That was me, BaconSandwich admitted in an almost muted voice. The bodyguards looked around, grabbing their weapons but saw nothing but darkness.

What's that over there? one of them said and turned around. He was walking in their direction. Slid his gun from the holster and held it out in front of him.

Get down! CS muttered through her teeth and started to get nervous. And grab your weapons. Things are going SCIENCE already!

"Science" was right Richard thought to himself. Already face first into the dirt and they had just arrived onto the job. Richard watched as the bodyguard made his way toward them slowly. Someone had to do something or the night would be over for all of them very soon.

Richard picked up a rock and slung it over into the bushes opposite their direction. The man made his way towards it. Baconsandwich was closest to him. He waited till he passed then killed him from behind quickly and quietly. Richard helped drag the body into the bushes. The others jumped back up to their feet and continued on with the plan. Each finding their assigned target and eliminating them swiftly.

They soon arrived together at the front door of the house. Gabriel opened the door lock and slowly let it swing open. Richard entered first with his 1911 .38 special in hand. The others followed him in one by one. They spread out checking corners and rooms for any unexpected guest they might have not accounted for while scouting out the job.

From the kitchen a muffled thud was heard. Richard turned to see Gregos exiting the kitchen with a smile on his face and a sandwich in his hand  "He didn't need it anymore." Richard shook his head and let out a lite chuckle.

A noise from upstairs grabbed their attention and soon they began their accent up to the mayor's study. They passed by the children's room and heard nothing. Sound asleep, Richard said quietly. They continued towards the end of the hall where the study was. CookieSandwich began to pass by the master bedroom when she heard a noise coming from behind it. She turned toward the rest of the group.

"What do we do? The wife is still awake." She whispered.

Richard answered in a low mumble Going to have to deal with her now. She hears anything going on she'll wake up the whole house. Tie her up and gag her; all we can do.

The situation was beginning to get sticky. The last thing they needed was a screaming wife and children. Gregos and Gabriel continued on to the study as Cookie,Richard, and Bacon entered the master bedroom and took care of the wife.

A candle flickered on both ends of the windows in the master bedroom the only light in the room. The wife sat in front of her vanity applying lotion to her skin. While he slowly crept near her Richard picked up one of the mayor's ties hung over a chair. He was soon right behind her. Cookie just a step behind him. Bacon stood by the chair awaiting to tie the wife to the chair. Grabbing her quickly Richard held the tie in her mouth as Cookie picked her legs up. They sat her into the chair. Cookie held her down while Bacon began tying up her legs. After they finished tying up the wife they quickly made their way to the mayor.

They entered the study where the mayor was sitting in his office chair, his back facing them. Gabriel and Gregos approached his desk and stood silently in front of it. Breaking the silence was not someone speaking but a burst of flatulence coming from Gregos.  "Oops, he said. Those peppers on that sandwich were quite tangy*."

Report Post Tip

First word: Tangy. Last word: Unbiased. If this is the last post then the last word is: Terrible.

Wraak just finished his burger with tangy cheese looked down at his now empty plate and noticed the time on his watch. He was late, very late. Gabriel was going to be so mad. He jumped up, ripped out his wallet and dropped a $20 bill on the table, stopped and pulled another $10 note out, winked at the sexy waitress while dropping it on the table, then turned around and ran out to his car.

He remembered Gregos saying something about it going down at the mayor’s house, which was on the other side of town. Fortunately for him, he had his new Duesenburg Model SJ parked in front of the restaurant. He jumped in behind the steering wheel and raced off down the road. The Duesenberg was capable of hitting 140mph, but he doubted if that was going to be quick enough to reach the mayor’s house on time.

Wraak eventually reached the mayor’s house and he parked down the street from it. He cautiously made his way back up the street, keeping to the shadows as best he could. When he reached the fence he quickly scanned the area making sure no-one would be able to see him and quickly climbed over. As he approached the house slowly hiding behind trees, he tripped over something, looking down he saw the lifeless eyes of one of the body guards starring up at him. Obviously CookieSandwich and Gabriel was already here. First scanning the area between him and the house, he made sure that they didn’t miss any body guards. When he was satisfied that it was all clear he quickly ran across the lawn and entered the slightly ajar front door.

He slowly and as quietly as possible made his way up the stairs, down the hall to the study, stopping every few feet to listen for any noises. When he got close to the study he could hear several people moving around inside. He drew both his .357 S&W Magnum’s from their leather shoulder holster and slowly approached the door. He peeked around the door just as Gregos farted loudly. Thinking the coast is clear he opened the door fully and walked into the room, only to be assaulted by the most horrible smell. “Damn Gregos, what crawled up your ass and died” he whispered whilst trying his best to cover his nose and mouth with a handkerchief.

At that point the mayor had turned around and shouted out “Who the fuck are you, and what are you doing in my house!”. Wraak sprang into action, ran behind the desk and knocked the mayor over the head, rendering him unconscious

Looking up at Gabriel. “Sorry I’m late Boss. Did I miss anything important?” The look on Gabriel face told him more than enough, he was going to get an earful when this was over. He would be lucky of his was still Gabriel’s RHM in the morning. He had better impress the Boss from here on.

“We need to get him out of here, quietly” he said whilst looking at Gregos. “Hope nobody heard this commotion. We don’t need the heat coming down on us. Lets get going!”

Wraak wondered to himself that if they managed to pulled this off, whether there would be an unbiased story in the papers about it. *

Report Post Tip

First word: Unbiased. Last word: Murder. If this is the last post then the last word is: Terrible.

Hearing all of the commotion from the other room, CS attempted to stay unbiased until she saw for herself what had happened. Unluckily, the first thing they - RichardMarcinko , BaconSandwich and CS - noticed was the smell of a dead man who had been rotten for a few days. The smell itself made her believe something completely different had went down in the study room.

Upon entering, she saw everyone covering their mouths and staring at the mayor, whose body remained in the chair. His chest moved slowly up and down proving he was not dead.

What happe-... she said as Wraak turned around to face her with a dead smile glued to his face. Why are you here? What's that smell?

Wraak and RichardMarcinko stared at Gregos , who tried to hide his blushing face. CS realized what had happened and figured it was that damn sandwich from the kitchen. With a smell like that, all that happens is that we attract more people to this place. Can we please make a new rule to never eat anything when doing a thing like this?

She waved her hand in front of the face to get it out of her way, but it barely helped.

Alright, let's get to it. She grabbed some rope, a gag and the body bag from her backpack. It was made specifically for him, sent from the contacts where they would receive their money from.

Tie his hands and legs, please, she said to BaconSandwich and Wraak and put the gag in his mouth. It looked like he would stay unconscious for at least thirty minutes more. How could this go wrong? The cash was almost in the house!

All we need to do now is slowly carry him down the stairs without waking the children. While carrying him to the car, I will go in front of you to open the doors. Afterall, you should all be stronger than me, she giggled. We will be driving for around fifteen minutes before we reach the place where I decided to meet up with them. Let's hope everything goes smoothly from here.

She watched as all of the strong men put him in the body bag and lifted him up as if he was a bag of feathers and slowly made their way out of the room. I will make sure everything's clear, she whispered and looked to both sides before exiting the study room. The only thing she could hear was some distant footsteps.

What's that sound? Gregos whispered as he struggled holding the man's legs.

Let me check it out. Stay here, she commanded and drew her gun before tiptoeing down the stairs. The closer she got, the more she could hear. The more she could hear, the more she could see.

When reaching the end of the staircase, she saw one of the girls grab something from the fridge. She was no more than six or seven years old, grabbing a glass of milk and searching the rest of the kitchen for something more. Whatever it was, she quickly found it, and there she stood enjoying a chocolate bar while the dimmed moonlight shone down at her long, blonde hair, making it look even whiter. She was humming a kids' song to herself while eating and drinking.

Before she could even consider what was right to do, the little girl started screaming for absolutely no reason. Until CS realized that she had seen her.

A bullet flew through the air, hitting her right between the eyebrows, and she fell over - dead before reaching the floor.

A muffled scream was heard from the bedroom. The mother did not seem happy about this, but neither was CS. Perhaps it was time to hurry the fuck out of the house!

Get down here NOW! she yelled up the stairs without caring about the sound. The cops could be there any minute.

Before long, they were all gathered around the front door and looked out through the window. A couple of neighbours had heard the shot and were walking aimlessly around the streets looking at each other and pointing at the mayor's residence. One of them, an older woman, stepped closer and entered through the gates.

We need to find another way out, she whispered and nodded towards the back. There must be a back door around here somewhere. Let's go.

The boys picked up the mayor once again and walked through the living room, into a hallway and finally found a door leading to a utility room. There was a door leading to the backyard, but no windows to make sure there was no one there.

I will open the door on three, she whispered. One... two... three!

The door swung open and they were met with... badges and blue suits.

You are gonna be in for a long time for this, one of them said and chuckled. Put him down, turn around and wait here. Don't move unless I tell you to do so.

CS sighed as she was hoping her lawyer could get her out of this again although all the proof was there. Perhaps this was simply not her day. Firstly shot a kid in the head and then being exposed like this. Could this get any more terrible?*
