It had been almost a month since Niki heard the news that PaleRider had retired with little notice, grabbing the first available flight to Hawaii where he could relax in the sun. Toast quickly stepped up,  opening his headquarters to house the former members of The Short Bus.  Nobody could have predicted that a few hours later, a stray bullet would leave Toast dead, and NYC once again looking for leadership.  Seeing a need for stability, MissNiki- left @James_Storm 's side and set up shop across the alley and welcomed the homeless in with open arms. 

The world had changed so much in recent days.  Las Vegas and Chicago were strong pillars in the new world, and the three annexed cities were filling quickly, but New York was in limbo.  It was not quite a annex city, but, not quite a pillar of the new world.  Clear leadership was needed. Many detailed conversations between Niki and James lead to the same conclusion, New York needed a leader and a decision was needed soon.The best decision for the future of New York was clear.  MissNiki- would be taking the plunge and moving to Brooklyn to take the position of acting city head.  

She watched with a tinge of sadness as the mover's carried @The_towndrunk and his couch out to the van. Box after box after box was loaded until finally, there was nothing left in their Bronx headquarters.  She had asked the crew to meet the moving trucks in Brooklyn, to unload and help set up the new facility, giving her a moment to herself, to reflect on all the happy times here. The building had a strange echo to it now, leaving her with a feeling that she couldn't quite put her finger on...then, it hit her...  it was just a building. The memories were of the crew, and the laughs they all had together and had nothing to do the building itself.  She went to the empty room that had once been her office, and on the wall, behind where her desk had been she scrawled.

 MissNiki- was here.. hope you have as much fun here as we all did.. ♥♥♥

She took one last look around, turned off the lights, and locked the doors.  Walking past her driver, she gave him a smile as she walked across the alley to The Storm Chasers HQ.  As she walked in, she saw a similar scrawl on the wall in the RH's office and grinned. This was home too, and she would miss the Bronx.  A place that had been so good to her. Sure, it was the same city, but, it's clear across town!! 

"James, thank you for everything, and I look forward to our future in New York.  What we started together the Bronx will spread across the city, making us a pillar and a community to be proud of."  With that, she handed James the keys, gave him a smile and walked to where @Jimmy_Coonan was waiting for her in the car.

As MissNiki- approached, Jimmy got out of the car to greet her.  He offered her his hand and gave her a kiss on the cheek as he helped her into the car.  Once in the car, he let out the biggest sigh and put the biggest smile on his face.

Well you've done it!  And I couldn't be prouder!  You've worked so hard and I am so proud of you!  Brooklyn and all of NY will be better because of you and I can't wait to help you!

Jimmy hands Niki a glass of bubbly and extends his own drink towards hers...

Borvie's been busy packing all the stuff from his old HQ.

As he turns, he saw MissNiki and greeted her.

" Hey boss, I excited for us moving to Brooklyn. I will do my best to contribute. And I will leave you as I have some other things to pack.", he bows his head and smiles as he leaves.

-Max placed tape on the last box, and thought good bye Bronx. She remembered all the memories shared, and the bonds that formed over drunken late night talks. She simply remembered her home, the Bronx. She blew a kiss at what was - a silent thanks, and looked ahead at what it is and will be with no regrets. She rolled down the window as she was filled with a new found hope, and a new since of adventure...

"BROOKLYN BOUND BABY!" -Max screamed at the top of her lungs. The echo bounced off the walls, and she laughed softly to herself at her own foolishness. She walked out of the room choosing to leave her bags for the staff to place in the car, she made her way outside just in time to see Borvie give his thanks to @MissNiki. -Max approached too excited to do anything but hug her friend @JimmyCoonan, then she turned to hug her Boss @MissNiki. -Max congratulated her on both her new position, and the new headquarters.

She moved slightly away and said, "Brooklyn is a dream to most, but it is our reality. We get to live this dream, this life."

The_towndrunk wakes up on his couch with one hand on his mason jar of moonshine and one hand tucked firmly down his pants staying warm resting on his nutsack.  He pulls it out and wipes the drool from his mouth and then reaches down into the couch cushions to find a stale potato chip and feeds it to himself...

"What tha fu..." TTD looks at his surroundings and listens to the rumble of the diesel truck as the driver goes over a bump which briefly removes TTD's ass from the couch cushion.

TTD pokes his head through the window to see a couple bodyguards driving the truck...

"Uhhhhh did I miss something??" TTD questions them...

"Orders are orders boss.  You musta missed the speech last night as you were trying to organize the midget pole dancing competition.  Missniki- is moving the operation over to Brooklyn.  We thought it'd just be easier to move you on the couch.  You're supposed to be over there to help unload" The bodyguard states as The_towndrunk takes a smoke from the BG's shirt pocket and lights it.  TTD nods his approval and lays back down on the couch to enjoy the rest of the ride.

Sooner than later they arrive in the Brooklyn and the doors to the van open.  The_towndrunk looks over to see a car arriving. Out gets Miss_niki- with Jimmy_coonan close in tow ready to serve coffee and offer witty self esteem building humour as needed, and a green thing wearing burlap.  The_towndrunk raises his mason jar in approval at MasterYoda 's choice of clothing and figures he better say something...

"Missniki- - congratulations.  I know we have roots in the Bronx - and as you stated - those relationships will not be forgotten and we must endeavour to continue to build them, but this is a great opportunity for you.  We'll continue to work hard, be loyal and..." Drunky belches up the nachos he ate the night previous while watching the midgets.  Rather than blabbering on he just raises his drink to the Uppers of Stormy Waters.

After reading the news in the paper about Miss Nikki and New York, Jigga immediately fixes to write her a short letter.

He sits back in his chair and lights a joint and begins writing. 

"It's a beautiful day in New York. Congrats! I wish you the best endeavors"

Dhalsim walked into Luna-Lovegoods office, seeing her face in that of joy and happiness.

"Whats up, Boss? You look especially cheery this morning." Dhalsim asked.

"Miss Niki was just given Brooklyn" she said happily.

"Thats wonderful! Well deserved. She always was a hell of a hard working woman. Shes going to do greats things for her city."

Dhalsim sits down in the chair after grabbing a paper and pencil to write his congratulatory letter to MissNiki-

After receiving a telegram from New York stating that Missniki- was officially declared the acting head and moving to the center of town, Shady_Sam took a quick flight over to greet the woman in person, handing her a bottle of exquisite red wine from France. He offers a cheerful smile and handshake.

"It has been a blessing to work with you, Missniki-, I've learned much from your wisdom and I look forward to continuing our relationship for years to come. May great things continue to come out of New York." 

It had been a short time since MissNiki- had made her move from her former home in the Bronx to the central area of Brooklyn. James had left a smell letter with her in the pocket of her jacket after the celebration was over. Once she settled in her new headquarters and received her evening coffee from Jimmy_Coonan and took a seat in her favorite chair. Noticing the envelope inside of her long jacket after she sat down she pulled it out and opened it up.

MissNiki-,

We've had a great time so far and I couldn't have asked for anyone better then you to be by my side. I am more appreciative of you then you will ever know. You were there when I needed you the most and have been there ever since. This is my opportunity to tell you that I have actually been drunk most the entire time. Your good judgement and my love for alcohol have gotten us here. We in the Bronx look forward to all great things that come your way you deserve it. I know this is for the better and I will always cherish our times we had in the Bronx.

zDiamonDz looked around the room that was once hers, even though it has only been for a short amount of time, she had become very accustomed to it. It was her own little place away from everything else. She was going to miss it, all the nights that she pretended to head to bed but instead stayed up drinking and smoking till the wee hours in the morning because it was the only place where The_towndrunk couldn't steal her stash of liquor but alas it had come to end, well for the Bronx anyways.

However, It was time to move on to bigger and better things, with MissNiki- leading us all and the rooms to the new HQ were even bigger in Brooklyn. zDiamonDz slowly followed everyone else, making her way towards MissNiki-.

"Congratulations Niki!! You have worked your butt off to get where we are now and we are truly lucky that you stepped up after our slight misfortune with Pale and Toasty. I can not wait to see how we will grow in the coming future but i will be will one heck of a great time."

And with that zDiamonDz made her way to her place to call new home.

MissNiki- I have always found you pleasant to deal with on a one-on-one basis. This is a huge opportunity for you and the whole of New York. As you suggest yourself - now is the chance to really prove New York's worth on the map. This is the chance to escape the "limbo" between annexed and established city status. I have great confidence that you will make this effort and I trust that the city will follow you. And who knows - perhaps a month from now we could be toasting a new Godmother.

BlackJack is walking down the street as he sees a fellow crew leader making a speech. He pauses and listens in to hear MissNiki- informing people that she is moving to Brooklyn to take full control of the illegal activity there. BlackJack approaches MissNiki- and pulls out a single Cuban cigar:

"MissNiki-, this is great news! Congratulations! I am so sorry that I did not come prepared but please take this cigar as a token of my congratulations. Once you settle in a little more I will be sure to drop something nicer in. I am so sorry to be so brief but I have to run off."

BlackJack quickly shakes the hand of missNiki- and runs off down the street.
