Square one.. That's where she was back to on ideas. Actually, more like BEFORE square one. Like.. Square .25. It was almost like she was playing hop scotch and was just consistently failing and having to go back to the beginning. She had been at her desk for hours upon hours trying to write up a plan for this bank heist that her crew and Jaime's crew were trying to pull off.

She would write out a paragraph and then scratch it out. Write.. Scratch. Write.. Scratch.. At least she was perfecting the art of scribbling out words in a perfect line. That was something she could be proud of at that moment, and she was as she patted herself on the back for her A- effort.

She had the names of people that were possibly maybe going to help out. She had sharp scrawled on one piece of paper, awaiting his role. Noodles was written hurriedly on another, Danny-Witcher on yet another piece of paper with a question mark next to the name, Dhalsim was written in all upper case letters, because as her Right Hand Man, he kind of had to take part just to make her happy, and LuBu, who she was really hoping would pull through for her because he happened to be amazing with explosives.

Explosives. Oh.. My.. God.. Explosives. Yes, she thought to herself. We need a huge boom to get this money out of the vault with no one catching us!

She started writing on a brand new piece of paper,

1. Explosives
2. Security?
3. How do we get in?
4. How do we get back out without being caught and thrown in prison?
5. How do we get away from the scene?

She made herself an outline of questions and branched off from there, and after placing a few calls around to some sources of hers, she had finally written up a plan.

It was: to set off a distraction in the form of explosives about six blocks away from the bank so that the police would be occupied trying to figure out what happened. Luna and Jaime and their men would then drive down the alleyway behind the bank, get out quietly, not even shutting the car doors, and go in the back door. She knew from one of her discreet sources that it never had any form of surveillance focused on it, inside OR outside of the building, and for some reason, they never kept it locked. Then, once they were all inside, they would walk the twenty or so feet to the vault and sharp would use his safe cracking skills to open the vault quietly. Explosives would absolutely not be needed when they were inside of the bank. They would go into the vault, grab as much of the money as they could in each of their bags and then they would leave out the back door where they had entered, quickly getting in the car and leaving the scene of the crime before cops had even been made aware that the heist had happened. If force was needed, they would have their guns at the ready to take out any unsuspected bank workers or guards, and no one would know who they were because they would have masks on..

She clapped her hands together in excitement, almost letting out a scream of joy. This plan had taken her so long to ready, and she was finally at a point where she could get a hold of Jaime and tell him what she had come up with. Luna just hoped that he would be okay with the plan and be ready to have loads of money at his disposal.

Picking up the phone, she dialed Jaime's number, and when he picked up, she said, "Jaime. I've done it. I've come up with the world's most perfect plan. You know State Bank on Main Street? The one that has so very little security but always has so much money in the vault? That's the one."

She smiled, listening as he said he would ready his people and they would all head over to her headquarters, which happened to only be a few blocks from his own.

Luna said excitedly, "Remember to bring your guns of course. I have masks that everyone can wear, and I have a few extra bags that we can use for money once we're in the vault. We're going to be filthy rich!! I can't wait, and I have a feeling this is going to be super easy. See you and your men soon Jaime. Only good will come of this. Nothing terrible!"

First word: Terrible. Last word: Politician. If this is the last post then the last word is: Square.

"Terrible timing", sharp muttered to himself. Jaime had just interrupted his enormous win streak at blackjack, but sharp knew better than to waste his leader's precious time. Signalling sharp to follow Jaime with a quick wave, he left the table in a singular motion, trying to keep pace with his leader. With a few waves similar to the one Jaime gave sharp, Noodles and Danny-Witcher followed suit, quickly being led into a back room at the casino. The room was guarded by a pair of giant bodyguards, but a single nod from Jaime made them open the door.

As the door opened, sharp was introduced to a small gust of smoke leaving the room. Luna-Lovegood and Dhalsim sat at an oak table at the far side of the room, Dhalsim with a lit cigarette emanating from his left hand, Luna with a glass of Whiskey clutched in her right. Sharp immediately reached for his pocket, producing a cigarette for himself. After the first drag, he asked, "Whats the matter, Bosses?"

Sharp and the rest of the men in the room were quickly brought up to speed with the plan to rob State Bank. Jaime commented towards his men and anyone that wasn't aware, "Luna here originally wanted us to go over to their headquarters but we have this room here so I suggested that they come here with all of the gear they had at the ready. Sharp.. You've often bragged about cracking safes of any kind. Surely, you can be the man for the job as outlined in Luna's plan?" Sharp felt the pressure build up inside, instantly regretting his big mouth. While he'd had many previous successes with cracking safes, they were usually the cheap kind that those trashy civilians used. The vault at State Bank certainly wouldn't be as easy to crack. Feigning calmness, sharp nodded confidently. How difficult could it be, anyway? A lock is a lock, sharp assured himself.

Jaime returned a smile in response and slid a glass of Whiskey across to sharp. "I knew we could count on you, sharp." Taking a sip of the whiskey, sharp nonchalantly proclaimed, "We don't need to worry about the safe, as long as I have the items needed. But I'm going to need a huge amount of explosives to get past that vault, and I mean the good quality explosives. We also need to find a way to get into the bank as quietly as possible, and we need a solid escape plan unless we plan on getting a visit from LA's finest."

Luna-Lovegood piped up, "No no. We won't use explosives on the vault because we're trying to get in and out quietly and discreetly without the cops being made aware of what we're doing. You will have the required tools, that's for sure. You just have to get the safe open as quickly as possible. As part of the plan, I had written here that LuBu will be six blocks away while we travel behind the bank and he will set off explosives to distract the cops while we get the cash and get the Hell out. The escape is the easy part. We leave out the back door, still masked, carrying our bags of cash. Danny will be the driver and he will get us away as quick as possible."

Luna quieted again and sharp nodded, thinking that sounded a bit less dangerous. "As for the escape plan, your plan should work Luna. Danny-Witcher knows his way around Los Angeles really well so he can get us away from the scene in less than thirty seconds flat.  Jaime, didn't you have a high ranking person on your payroll that could ensure any security that might be at the bank is taken care of so we don't get caught? Maybe you should contact that dirty politician."

Report Post Tip

First word: Politician. Last word: Revenge. If this is the last post then the last word is: Square.

"Politician?...Yes." Jaime informs everyone he had a friend of him in the politics that made sure someone in the bank would help us in one way or another. "People will always have a price. Even more politicians" Jaime said with a little smile on his face.

"So we are all set right?" Jaime asked. Everyone in the room nodded a yes, It was all good. Everyone had faith everything was going to be alright. No nervous faces around the room, Everyone was truly ready. Danny-Witcher was outside in a large van that was going to be used to arrive some blocks away from the State Bank in Main Street. Everyone walked to the van and LuBu carrying all the explosives was the last to get in. It was a not so trashed van, nothing too suspicious.

We were on our way and arrived as planed some blocks away from the Bank, LuBu got out with the case full of explosives that he was going to use to make a distraction. "Dont blow yourself up." Danny-Witcher said to LuBu and he replied with a "Fuck you Danny." Everyone smiled, some got a little laugh. It was a good way to relief the tension. The crew kept on the way to the destination, Danny had some nice driving skills and knew every alley-way in Los Angeles. While on the way everyone talked about how was the crew suppose to get on the back of the bank. Jaime said he had a plan and that it will be in the contact's hand. He put faith on the crooked politician and had hope he would truly have a guy inside. Jaime told Danny-Witcher to stop in the nearest phone booth, he had to make this "contact" a call.

Arriving at the phone booth's location, Jaime got out the van accompanied of Luna-Lovegood.

"Watch my back Lovely." Jaime said to Luna. Adding:

"If someone gets close do an angry face, even though it would be hard to scare anyone with that cute face of yours."

Getting in the phone booth he dials a number he had from his friend the politician. "234-423...yes, yes" No one picked the call up.

With an unpleasant face Jaime calls again the same number and someone finally picks up.

"Yes, Bank State here! how can i help you?"

"Hello im calling in regards of Mr.*BEEP*?"

"Oh, yes, yes. Sorry i didnt pick up earlier sir. How are you doing?"

Jaime angrily replied, "Can we skip the politeness? We are arriving at 10 to 20 minutes how can you help us?"

"I can make up a distraction inside the bank, Ill prepare it. Dont worry about it, i want to strike hard the manager of this bank."

"Yeah ok, thanks."

Jaime quickly smashed the phone right at his place and walked with Luna back to the van. Everyone was looking with a "what took you so long" face. "Sorry guys, we have 10 to 20 minutes to be there so Danny Step up the phase." Jaime said to everyone. Time passed quickly and the crew arrived at the bank. Everyone quickly got out of the van minus @Danny_Witcher, he would drive some inches away to pick us fast after. Everyone runned through a thin alley-way the bank had on its sides and arrived at the back on the bank, having on its thoughts that the contact inside wanted and had something to get from this...Revenge.

First word: Revenge. Last word: Tangy. If this is the last post then the last word is: Square.

"Revenge, Revenge on Politicians, Bankers , DAs...,Nothing but a bunch of wealthy crooked smugs"  Danny was mumbling to himself.

That s s what he was made for. It was chilled-foggy and  his cigarette was hardly sparkling the dark late November night around him, he was walking all alone towards the safe-house, thinking about what he had promised to be and what he had turned out to. He was raised in LA, left for 10 years and recently moved back with the pursuit of his dream 'Becoming a Godfather', yet he had ended up being a getaway driver barley known around, although he was one the best drivers in the city, yet he knew his own-self true potentials.

Earlier the day Luna-Lovegood had contacted him about a bank heist, a bank on main street filled with the government big shots' money, at least that would ease him down a bit, knowing they would rob the city powers-that-be high and dry. Drowned in his thoughts he fast his pace, it was getting late and he was the driver after all.

As his feet were pounding the rigid ground of the Los Boldes street -where the gang safe-house was located-, he heard two whispers in a distance, it was as if he could hear them through the slight breeze running through his ears.

"Do you think this guy Danny is fit for the job? he is a new crew member after all...I don't know but I have faith in him..."

as he got closer he recognized the faces, it was Jaime and Luna-Lovegood standing outside talking, as they saw him approaching  they stopped their talk.

With a bright shine of excitement in his eyes Jaime said "Hey Danny, we were expecting you, go on, everyone is inside waiting. we have a lot of stuff to sort out tonight, you know it is gonna be a long night"

As Danny walked in he saw sharp the safe cracker and LuBu the explosive expert sitting at the table looking at the bank blueprints. A few minutes later Jaime and Luna came in and went over the plan one more time...

A couple of hours later past midnight, they were ready to go,  Danny was sitting in the Van waiting, the crew hopped in one after another and they set off to do one job that no gang has ever dared to pull off. As the LAPD precinct was located in the city center, 10 mins away from the bank they took the El Masa street to arrive right behind the back alley leading to the bank. Danny pulled over the Van, a few minutes passed and  the gang got out one by one and vanished in the darkness...

Five minutes later, Danny was getting restless, he struck a cigarette thinking "What if  it s a setup? they are all I got, they are family, I can't just lose them, I just can't..."

As he was deep in his thoughts, he heard a loud piercing sound of a blast down the street, he was a bit cooled down as he knew LuBu had made it on time. He took a calm breath when he heard car tires chirping towards the van from distance along with shrilling sirens so loud that sent shivers down his spine. He was dazed out as a strong tangy warm gunpowder smoke clouded the whole street.

An extremely loud boom sound reverberated through town and the tangy taste of metal after a thermite explosion quickly started filling the van. Dhalsim could see Danny-Witcher's nose crinkle as he breathed it in, and then his own nose crinkled up. It was almost as bad as breathing in a large amount of rotten egg odors, and it made Dhalsim gag. The people in the van groaned at the gross smell and were extremely thankful that they were wearing masks. It helped guard their noses a bit, and it also guarded their faces so no one would know it was them besides themselves. Two services in one.

The hydrogen combusting to create the diversion meant it was their time; it was their signal to get the Hell out of the van and into the bank to get the job done. The team quickly rushed out of the van that was parked in the back alleyway behind the bank, and they watched the van pull away slowly from the scene. They knew Danny was going to a safe spot where he would wait for them all and then get them away from the scene when they were finished.

Jaime had said he paid off a politician to keep the backdoor unlocked, and Dhalsim was really hoping the corrupt man had actually followed through with the favor. The team sped to the door, unsure if the politician had actually done his dirty deed. Dhalsim jiggled the handle. Unlocked.

Yes! Dhalsim thought to himself excitedly as he placed his hand more firmly on the cold doorknob.

He turned to the other members and said, "It's time! Let's get in and out fast!"

Opening the door, they swept the hallways. No security measures were in place. No guards were in view. In fact, all they could hear was quiet. Like, you could have heard a tiny pin drop, or hear a mouse's little feet scampering across the floor. It was almost eerie.

He knew they were safe to get started because the whole police department was busy with the thermite explosion down the road.

Thank God for LuBu holding the distraction while they swept the bank, he thought to himself.

He knew it wouldn't have been quite this easy if it wasn't for LuBu, and for Jaime's corrupt politician!

When they were all inside and the door was shut again, they quickly made their way down the hallway. Dhalsim waved Luna off to go check the surrounding areas while sharp got started on the vault door that was quite a bit farther away from the back door than Luna had originally outlined. He used all of his lockpicking tools, twisting and turning them in the complex lock, and had the vault door open in less than a minute.

Luna emerged from a side door suddenly with a flourish and said, "It's really all clear! Jaime, your politician is the fucking best! Seriously! And wow, sharp. You made quick work of that! Let's get in there and see what kind of haul we're going to get! We can try to get all of the cash but I think we'll be unable to.."

sharp was almost unable to contain his excitement as he lifted his bag from the floor of the van and got out, quickly walking behind the other three members. The drive there had taken quite awhile and he had been beginning to grow impatient when they finally arrived. He rubbed his hands together in anticipation of opening by far the toughest safe he'd ever opened to this day as he stood waiting behind Jaime at the back door of the bank.

He tried waiting very patiently while Dhalsim tested the doorknob to see if the politician had left it unlocked, which he had, and then Dhalsim told them it was time and they headed inside the bank, walking quietly through the halls. sharp immediately noticed how empty the place seemed. As if literally everyone had gone home and no one was there keeping watch.

This politician really knew how to pull through on a favor! He thought to himself as Luna was waved off to search through the building and make sure they would all be okay to grab the cash once he had successfully opened the vault.

Jaime motioned sharp towards the vault door and sharp set his bag down by it, grabbing all the tools he was going to need. This one was not as complex as he had made himself believe it would be, and, believe it or not, he only had to use a couple bobby pins with his ear pressed up against the door and he had it open in about forty five seconds! He was pretty proud of himself as he gave himself a mental pat on the back. He knew that probably the only other person that would come close to patting him on the back was Luna, and she had been sent away.

As he thought that, he turned at the sudden opening of a door, and saw Luna step out. Her face was red as if she had just ran a few miles, and she was out of breath for some reason, but he listened as she said the place was all clear, and then she commended him for his job well done.

He got up, smiling shyly at Luna as he put his tools back in his bag then slung it over his shoulder. Then Jaime ushered them all into the vault after Luna said they should see what all they could get. They all entered, noting the tall shelves that were all lined with cash, and even the lock boxes at the back, even though those would take brute force to get into.

They all readied their bags, took one last look at each other, and started filling them up. Each person grabbed as much cash as they could, as quickly as they could do it, and filled their bags to overflowing in less than two minutes. sharp looked at Dhalsim who had finished filling his bag first and was standing watch in the hallway. He showed no sign of worry so sharp knew they were still in the clear.

When they were all finished filling their bags, they heard a honk off in the distance outside, and they knew that was their signal that they had taken just a bit too long. They exited through the back door of the bank and ran down the alleyway, searching quickly for the van and immediately spotting it.

As they climbed into the van, they sat and breathed sighs of relief in unison, wondering how the Hell they got away from the job so easily. Danny started the van and quickly departed from the area of the crime. sharp always had to keep his hands busy so he pulled a couple one hundred dollar bills out of his bag and started to quill them, quickly forming them into cylindrical shapes, almost like money cigarettes, and passing them up to Luna and Dhalsim.

Jaime turned in his seat and happened to see sharp quill the little money cigarettes then pass them up to Luna and Dhalsim. Luna noticed Jaime looking and smiled at him and said, "Here, Jaime. Take this. That's for the nice compliment earlier about my cute face!"

He smiled at Luna in return, accepting the gift, and turned around in his seat to face the road ahead of them. When they had left the bank, he had immediately thought in his head that he just had to sit up front with Danny so he could tell him all about how easy the job was, and make promises to him that in the next job they did, he would be in on the crime and not be stuck as the getaway driver. Before he could talk, though, he had to catch his breath. For him that was pretty hard because he had a slight case of Asthma. He hadn't even done that much running but he thought that at that moment he really needed a paper bag or something so he could calm himself down.

After he finally was breathing normal again, he turned to Danny-Witcher and said, "You wouldn't believe how easy that was. I called in my favor to you know who and he did it! He really cleared that bank out like he said he would, and the back door was unlocked just like it was supposed to be! sharp here was able to get us all into the vault in less than a minute, and we had quite a bit of the cash loaded up in just two minutes more! Maybe even a bit less time than that!"

Jaime stopped for a moment, realizing that he hadn't even taken a breath through the whole time he had just talked. He then turned to Dhalsim after taking a few deep breaths and said, "I appreciate your calm in there by the way. You kept everyone cool and collected, you and I sent people out to complete the tasks they were supposed to do, and we were in and out, just like you said you wanted us to be! I say tonight we celebrate somewhere special. Drinks on me for sure. Dinner on you guys. I think this is one of the best days ever honestly."

He listened as Luna said, "Jaime. Calm down. It's okay! We're all excited, and I do agree. We should definitely go celebrate! That's a brilliant idea. But, I think that we should go to my headquarters with all of this. I told TarloSzatana to be waiting and ready for us so she could help us with any bags we might need help carrying. I know she wanted in on this but.. I had sent her out to Philadelphia on some business this afternoon and unfortunately that meant that she wasn't able to be involved in all the planning, and wasn't back home to Pasadena before we left, which was really unfortunate. And since she didn't know any of the plans, I couldn't risk having her in this. Plus, she's so young. She's like my little sister, you know? I don't know what I would do if something bad happened to her because I brought her on this trip without pre-planning with her! Anyways.. Yes. We should go to my place in Pasadena, unload, prepare for a long night of partying, and then we can celebrate! What do you say Jaime?"

She smiled as Jaime nodded and everyone else chimed in saying it sounded perfect. Then Jaime smiled, turning in his seat and hoping that their night didn't end with the misfortune of being served food that had started to rot.

All Jaime could think of now was rot. He had a stink face as he imagined moldy food and things decomposing. Luna glanced at him and noticed his face.

"What's wrong?" She asked him. "Something smell bad?"

Everyone laughed when he said he had caused himself to start thinking of rotten food, and that he hoped they wouldn't be served anything moldy when they went to dinner.

With a pat on his shoulder, Dhalsim said, "No worries, Jaime. We're going to get some amazing food and some awesome drinks and have ourselves a merry old time! You know that, right? So, don't you fret anymore. We're almost to the Ravenclaw headquarters! Danny has gotten us their in good time! He's been awesome tonight as well. So, once we arrive there, we will unload all of our bags like Luna was suggesting. I know that once we pull up, Tarlo will come out and help us, since we do have quite a few heavy bags of cash. She can carry a bag, and then we can all get the rest. We'll head inside, lock the doors and we'll hang out there for a bit while we dole out the cash evenly to those that participated tonight and helped this be a success, and THEN we will get ready to go and we'll go have some fun."

Dhalsim turned around to look at sharp who had gone quiet. He said, "Hey sharp. You doing okay man?"

sharp nodded and smiled at them, saying, "Well, I'm just as excited as you guys are. I am just not that good at showing it to everyone, you know? I am a bit more.. Shy and reserved, if you may. But I am definitely ready to go out and have some fun after this long day. I think there's a restaurant on Main Street that serves food and alcohol until two in the morning. So we can go there. Should be a good rowdy time for us to enjoy and let off some steam with."

Luna smiled at the idea and noticed that they were pulling up to her headquarters. She said, "I'm definitely fine with the restaurant on Main! I've eaten there before and it was amazing! But.. We've arrived to my place! This is it. So let's get the bags picked up as soon as we stop so we can get them carried inside and get this money sorted out!"

She noticed that Tarlo was already standing outside as if she had a feeling they would be turning the corner and heading down the driveway just then. Luna smiled and waved at her through the side window and they opened the door, all exiting the van with bags in hand. She resisted the urge to toss the bag at Tarlo and instead handed it to her gently, smiling and draping her arm over her shoulders.

"Tarlo, today was awesome!" She said excitedly as they all walked into her headquarters. "It was so easy! We got out of there scot-free. And just like Jaime told Danny in the van earlier, I will make sure to get you involved in the next huge crime we commit, and you're definitely going out to celebrate with us tonight! I know for a fact you won't understand this, guys, but.. You have no idea how happy I am that I got off of square one."
