Who do you think will win the World Cup this Summer?

I'm going to have to side with Brazil and is whom I believe to win the World Cup.

Waiting to hear whom other beleive is going to take the World Cup back to there home country....

I think it will be out of 4 teams.

Argentina, Brazil, England or Spain personally. I don't know who out of those but will be interesting to see.

Spain's chances somewhat hinge on whether Torres is fit, as he is a massive addition to their squad. However, the squad is strong enough to cope without him and still have a goalscoring threat if he's absent - onlike England/Rooney.

Brazil have got to be my favourites, they're the perennial front runners and they'll always be in the mix. People seem to be questioning their credentials this year solely on the basis the world cup will be played in the wet and cold conditions of South Africa's winter - but considering the vast majority of Brazil's squad now play in Europe pretty much negates that as a factor.

I can't see Argentina doing well with Maradona in charge, they only just scraped through the qualifiers with no consistency in performance or team selection, and Maradona's tactics split the team (or so it appears from their disjointed play)

England have an outside chance, at best. On paper, Lampard and Gerrard (despite an awful season) should be contributing goals from midfield, but the reality is they have never truly stepped up to the mark on the international stage. Whereas the likes of Brazil, Spain and even teams like Holland can afford to lose a striker and still have a potent goal threat; but the bottom line for England is that if Rooney is out of the equation, it's difficult to see where goals are coming from.

Being English, I'll always put a sneaky bet on them to win it outright, but odds of 11/2 aren't great considering Spain and Brazil are 4/1 and 5/1 respectively.

Well I agree with 2 of them Brazil and Spain, Argentina is sleeping dark horse.....

But for England they are known for screwing up good draws,plus Wayne Rooney is hurt and will he fully recover before the World Cup?

That we will have to wait and see...

I hope England can do it, but I think Spain (if Torres is fit) or Brazil willytake it.

Brazil - Much stronger than they've been in recent years in my opinion and know how to perform when it matters.

As for England, i think we'll make it to the semi's.

Alright I'm kidding. Not the biggest follower of soccer so I'll have to go with Brazil. I want to say Spain but I saw the USA beat them so I can't pick them. Also like that Messi guy but I'm not sure how good the rest of the Argentina team is.

hmmm it has to be brazil as one  , next may be spain , and maybe out of no where italy idk hmm  hmmm U.S.A never gets to the finals so i have no confendence in them hmm Argentina seems to be slacking over the years soo i dont htink they would win too

But doesn't any realize Rooney is injured and will comeback with proabbly no in game expereince when he comes off injury......

Plus as I can recall England best Midfleiders are coming into the World Cup atfer an Awful year in Preimership......

I would say England Supporters better pray for there team or country cause the odds that England wins World Cup are as good as the United States......

What really is all this about England going to struggle to beat the USA? I really can't see how the USA are gonna pose such as a threat to England as people are making out.

In my opinion, The USA are highly over-rated. There are plenty of teams ranked lower than them in world who i think are much better, e.g. Serbia, Uruguay, Turkey, Sweden...

Out of the last 5 international friendlies they've only managed to beat El Salvador whilst losing to Slovakia, Honduras, Denmark and the Netherlands.

From that i can only see one possible outcome, a comfortable England victory. But, i guess we'll see on June 12th :)

I'm not saying that USA is going to make it far, But in the same statement England is overrated......

And Also very Famous to choke in the World Cup. So in my opinion I would not be suprised to watch England flop again this year.

As for USA if they make out of Group which with an eas group is very possible. Myself and many other Americans find that as win in our books.

If you ask any serious USA we all know we can't win the World Cup, but we can dream......

Until we have our Superstar player and some solid players around him. The USA will never be able to win World Cup without a little luck on ours side.
