Things had been quite busy for James since setting up shop in the Bronx. From the retirement of PaleRider to the recent run in the with local police this weekend. There hadn't been a moment I wasn't busy working on something to better the district. Finally, the stack of papers sitting on my desk in the headquarters had become manageable. I no longer feared for the mail man's next delivery. I called for my right-hand man Narrator and asked him to take a seat at the desk. "I think it's time!" James said confidently. Narrator gave him a confused look as he was uncertain as to what his leader was talking about. Scratching his beard in confusion, he hesitates before responding. "Well, time for what James? We've kept to your agenda I am not sure what we are missing?" Narrator asked. "It is time we finally got out of here; this place is making me itch. We must make a public appearance, I've seen the tabloid news. I am worried the public with soon think I have become a myth seeing as how I haven't been seen in some time," James Said. Narrator grabbed his jacket and headed for the garage. James had quite the selection of vehicles, and he made sure they didn't drive in the same vehicle for an extended period to avoid the law. Once in the car and on the road we made our way down to times square. Parking the car, we found what looked to be like quite the busy corner to grab some attention of the local passersby. Narrator walked over to the cleanest bench which was quite the task and unfolded today's newspaper knowing this would take some time. Ladies and gents first I would like to thank you for your time. Believe me when I say it has been a busy time for us here in New York. I am more than happy to see our progress, but I wanted to share some of it with you all. My former right hand and now city head MissNiki- has been nothing short of phenomenal in my time working with her in rebuilding this city. She made this city's success a priority so it was inevitable she would become the city head in my eyes. In my time rebuilding, I've heard some say they aren't sure what is going on in New York and that we have more of ghost town presence. I know that I have always had a family first approach, but I want the public to know that New York will not work in the shadows. That is why I have drug my more than busy right-hand Narrator out here with me tonight to help field some possible questions or topics I might be able to shed some light on. If you have any questions feel free to ask me here or at a later time through private mail. My door is always open. |

Miss_Niki- smiled as she watched James give his speech. She was proud of the progress that they had made together. Yes, it may have seemed that they were meek and quiet at times, but, only because your city can only be as strong as the people in it. So they had concentrated on their families first, and now, it was time to let the world know who they are. " James_Storm - working beside you has been a pleasure, and we will continue to work together as a team to build New York up to be the majestic city that it can be. " As her words trailed off, she stepped back into the crowd gathering on the street to allow James to go on to answer any questions that the crowd may have for him. |

Sairia found herself out and about on the streets today moving through a rather bustling crowd when a familiar voice caught her attention. She couldn't help the smile that quickly lit up her face as she looked up to see her beloved crew leader as well as the right hand of their clan. Curiosity blossomed within her and she quickly moved a little closer to the front of the crowd, still remaining off to the side so not to get in the way of anyone who actually had a question or something to be answered. She wanted to whoop with joy as he spoke of MissNiki- and how great of a job she was doing. In all honesty, Sairia felt that both of them were doing a bang up job with New York and wouldn't trade her family for the world. She managed to keep herself in check, however and remained silent for the time being.
Sidling over to find a spot to stand near to MissNiki- she grinned and playfully nudged the woman beside her in greeting. She had no clue that James planned on making a public appearance today but she would stand by in support grinning broadly at those around her as she quickly began scanning the crowd trying to get an idea of the emotions of the crowd. That could honestly tell you the most about the reception of a message. No one seemed angry or unruly so that was well enough for the moment. "Hey MissNiki- are we having a good day?" She grinned happily to the woman beside her showing the very picture of calm and at ease before casting a curious glance up at her crew leader. Could sometimes be a crazy man, but she'd follow him to the end. |
