Well, I am not sure if this has been mentioned before and iif it has I apologize for wasting the time of the person who is reading this. I would like to see that the next account of any player gets to keep the mail of the previous account. Now we loose all the mail that we have gotten over the days in the blink of an eye when we die. I would really appreciate it if the mine next account could have access to my mail too.
I feel that this will add a lot to the actual RP perspective as I am sure every son will have access to his fathers mail after fathers death and also it helps in the recollection of some inportant stuff. Is this good or bad??? You decide

I would like it, but maybe just the mails that you have archived or unread? |

I think that I must agree with Afro. If the mails are that important then either BA them or store them elsewhere. I find that this works for me and doesn't take much time to retreive them either |

but the question is, can you save an unread message? Sometimes we die when we are not online so how can you save the future messages?
what can be consider here is just save the unread message to the next character? |

Again though Chuck, how does that make any RP sense if my new character is in no way related to my old one? |

For those accounts who are indeed the sons of their last, there could quite easily be a "save mail" options in the manage - options page. That way those who don't think it'd make RP sense can just turn it off, whereas those who are going to RP out a "sons" account, can have their mail. |

Seriously, James, this is just a way for lazy people to not have to save their messages. And do you really expect people to not use the option if it's there? Hell, I'd use it if it was. Does that mean it should be put in? No. |

I quite agree, it is simply something for lazy people. I didn't say I agreed or liked the idea, or even said it was remotely realistic, I was just offering some opinions on how to make it work with the aforementioned complaints against it. |

Very true Joy - as much as it'd be brilliant to have a completely realistic game, it is still a game and that person sitting behind the computer with their brand new account is still the same as the one who just died. Therefore it is inevitable that that person will get their position back. That'll probably never change. |
