My Father, His Mistake Is My Lesson Started by: Bad_Boy_Hitter on May 11, '10 00:12

It was a cold Monday afternoon, my father, Frankie_Gogolak had just got in from work, he went into the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee when the television that was left on mute caught his attention.
It was a news report, several deaths in the local cities had occured and it wasn't clear (to him) what was going on.
As Frankie picked up the phone to call his boss, a face that he knew all to well came up on the television, it was Premiere, a high ranking member of the Lions Den had been found dead, Frankie automatically jumped to assummtion that New York were at war with an unknown family.

Frankie headed outside only to see chaos, former mobsters of a family outside of town running around like headless chickens, Frankie heard someone shouting at a young lady saying that a mafia leader had been whacked by one of the Godfathers of all Godfathers for cheating in a poker game, organizing some of his own men to attend the game to even the odds for him to win, but was quickly found out as his men were not so talented in lying.
Frankie was pissed, already losing one of his friends in what appears to be a war that hasn't been announced, he wasn't prepared to sit back and wait for an order to kill.

With this, Frankie booked the first flight to STL, this only took minutes, with no one wanting to leave New York, the airport was pretty empty..

After just a 20 minute flight in a private jet, Frankie left the STL airport on the prowl for an easy, yet lawful kill..
After just 10 or 15 minutes of searching the streets, Frankie came across a young Mafioso, scruffy little fucker Frankie recored in his journal, looks like he hasn't done a days work in his life, Frankie mutters.
Frankie looks the young, lazy thug in the face, slowly raising his gun, he aims it at the head of this good for nothing bozo..Frankie pulls the trigger..dead, the thug falls to the floor, laying in a pool of his own blood, Frankie goes for a second shot to be sure he was dead, but it was usless, Frankie's gun locked and he was unable to use it till his friend was able to fix it in about an hours time when he was able to fly back to New York, but it was fine, the thug was clearly not getting back up.

After the shooting, Frankie wondered off to see who else he could find, but this adventure was soon to end.
Frankie bumped into his boss, TheDean, he asked Frankie what was going on, Frankie being a bit slow, thought TheDean was just being polite and just basically saying hello, but he was very wrong.
TheDean explained to Frankie what had happend and that all of STL were under the protection of Philly, Frankie immidiatly knew what was coming up next and he had no intentions of fighting it, Frankie was always a man of his word, you live by the gun, you will die by the gun, in this case, it was the end of the gun of the very man who trusted him enough to promote him to a Button member of the family. Frankie was ashamed to have disappointed his boss so badly and was willing and ready to take the punishment coming to him.

Frankie turned around facing a wall, he raised his hands above his head and closed his eyes, TheDean, with slight emotions in his voice says "I'm sorry Frankie, you made a mistake" ..

Everything went dark, the noise of the traffic slowly went quiet, Frankie's vision went blurry, falling to his knees and holding his hands up to his face to see them covered in his own blood, Frankie falls head first into the road and was dead..

I'm not overly sure what really happened in the final minutes of my fathers life, I only have the word of a few of his friends who were in STL at the time, but they say it was unfortunate, but fair and I agree with them, as sad as I am to lose my father, in this thing of ours, any mistake can lead to your death, a lesson which I will carry with me forever.

If there is anything I can learn from my fathers mistake, that is not be too lazy to ask around and see what is actually going on and don't jump to conclusions with your gun blazing, he paid for his mistake with his life, I however will not make such a mistake, or at least be more careful not to get caught. (heh, slight humour to the end :P )

A lesson well learned indeed.

What your father did was foolish, but for him to man up and accept the consequences shows his respect for this thing of ours. Unfortunately, that's not always the case with others. I'm glad to see that you've learned from him--a fatal lesson indeed--but one I'm sure will never be repeated in your bloodline.

here stands an honest man. there should be no disrespect towards him or his family lineage, he is not his father therefore she would not be held to the wrongs his father has done.

Over hearing Bad_Boy_Hitters speech Marco stops in his tracks, for what he had too say had a very familiar ring to it. Marco's father ReggieK also made a similar mistake although in slightly different circumstances the outcome remained the same. After Bad_Boy_Hitter had finished Marco made his way over to the young man and put his hand on his shoulder, "I too lost my father recently in much the same way, so i know how you feel but as you say a lesson we can learn from, all the best my friend".

kane walks over to the men. i have been listening to you talk and for a man to own up to his mistakes and accept his fate is an honorable thing to do.it is true what they say, a lesson earned in blood is never forgotten.

Singer listened to the four other men speak about Bad_boy_hitters story. Then Singer felt like speaking up.

Bad boy hitter let me first  congragulate you on a few things the first is that you took the time to understand your fathers mistake. Many men just look past that kind of stuff and you didnt. So i think that is pretty good i also think you show a beautiful amount of loyalty in entering a family your father was in not many people do that but personally i have much respect for those that do. Finally i want to say the goodbye to  my late friend Premier. He was a great man a mentor to me in so many ways.

Singer smiles at bad boy hitter

BBH smiles at SINGER

Thank you for your words sir, I too hope that I will one day make TheDean proud, I hope that I can be someone he looks over with no regrets for taking a chance on me and not judging me by my fathers mistake.
I think it is very important that we all accept our mistakes for what they are and never approach the streets crying like little bitches over what has happened, but of course, this wasn't always the case, my great, great (x34 million) grandfather who also was known by the name of BBH was very different, very childish in his words and was always looking for a reason to moan. *BBH giggles to himself* ..we all grow up eventually.

Marco, I am sorry to hear about your fathers passing, it's unfortunate that these mistakes do seem to happen on a daily basis, but it's how we deal with the aftermath of those mistakes that make us the Mobsters we all want to be. If that makes sense.

What have you done B_B_H is truly brave. This not only serves you as a lesson but by sharing it to the crowd it serves us a lesson to everyone especially those aspired hitters and dreaming to be a professional gunner someday. Use your gun properly, make sure everything is checked, if possible double checked. Another lesson to keep in mind is asking before shooting would make your life more safe.

Chuck shakes the hand of B_B_h.

Im thrilled by your story, im sorry for your loss and hope you move on from henceforth
