She shrugged, "Maybe not, but I could have listened. And poured you more wine. And cried with you." she reached out and patted the other woman's knee, "I'm older than you Kat, I've dealt with my fair share of heartbreak." she smiled, "But I forgive you, I understand the urge to just run away and bury yourself in your work, in a way." She raised her glass to her mouth and took a sip, "But next time please just let me know you're going. I was worried sick about you."

Kathryn nodded.

"Next time, you're coming with me. As a true member of RP Inc.- if that's what you want. You just killed for me, Grace. I can't say your... traditional, in this line of work. But neither was I. Is being committed to the crew- all the way in- something you'd want? I won't think less of you if you decide otherwise."

She grinned and raised her glass, "In for a penny, in for a pound." she told her, "I suppose now that I've gotten my hands dirty I might as well keep at it." she rolled her eyes, "Besides, the amount of injuries you lot manage to get in a week is staggering, it'd be better for you to have a doctor even closer at hand." she told her with a wink.
