The Warehouse Started by: FitzChivalry on Mar 10, '17 23:34

The Warehouse was fairly big but nothing too extravagant: a pair of large industrial doors gave you entry to the warehouse and once inside it was just a large room with nothing at all in it except an office at the back. When quiet, the cement echoed under any footfalls and the air, trapped in the windowless expanse, was slightly musty. Nothing went on here on a day to day basis; it was just a place that Fitz and his guys could utilize to his advantage for things such as loosening tongues or gathering a few people together. Fitz entered the warehouse and had a snoop around; there was some dried blood on a particular patch on the floor and a couple of teeth that no longer belonged to some poor unfortunate soul.

As Fitz made his way to the far end of the unit he found other stains, some older, others fresher and on reaching the office, he entered through the single wooden door. The office was large, windowless, and the walls were thin; they were made of a simple ply wood but they suited their purpose. To stop anyone being seen and to ensure no bugs could be planted. On the opposite side to the entrance there was another door, this would help when a quick exit was needed, Fitz was always cautious in this way when attending meetings, as it wasn't worth the risk to get caught by the feds.

Inside the office there were several desks situated where meetings would be held between some of the more influential people in Vegas. Tonight however, it would play host to a different city.

Fitz had sent out several invitations to the heads of the Los Angeles Organizations. Coming along was Midnight of Torture Island, Philip_Anselmi of The Delinquents, and Prae of the Praetorian Legion. Then there was CookieSandwich of The Cookie Factory and finally Gabriel, leader of the House of Angels.

As always, MonsterHair was close by just in case things got a little sticky and Orange was outside in the car. Fitz sat down and waited for the Los Angeles contingent to arrive. There was some business that needed attending to.

Prae walks in, taking off his wide-brimmed hat as he comes in from the harsh desert sunlight. He sees Godfather Fitz sitting at the head of the table.

Good afternoon, sir. It seems I'm the first to arrive.

Prae pulls out one of the chairs and takes a seat, resting his hat on the table in front of him.

Midnight walked into the room and was shocked to find she wasn't the last one in for a change. She celebrated a little inside, pleased with her new achievement, and observed the surroundings. She walked over to the godfather to announce her arrival.

Godfather Fitzchivalry, pleasure to meet up with you again. She smiled and went to create small talk with the few people already here.

Aloy was wandering around the streets of Vegas, looking to jump someone who had just won big at one of the casinos. She took a wrong turn and found herself approaching a warehouse. Hoping to find someone inside who could give her directions, she peeked her head in and overheard a relatively normal conversation going on. Not two seconds later, bullets started flying and half the people in the building fell to the ground; lifeless.

"Well then... That was interesting..."

Aloy turned around and booked it back to a more populated area. She didn't quite feel like taking out her bow tonight.

Cookie was having one of her bad days again as she heard about something happening in the streets. It involved her mother and the rest of her beloved city - people she had loved since the beginning. With them, they had grown and become a large city with numerous possibilities. Not only had they lately been given the nod to expand their operations - they had also been permitted to spend the rest of their hard-earned money on protecting themselves even better from all the small, random gangsters who wished to take a shot.

When she arrived at the warehouse, where her mother was supposed to be, all she saw was blood. Bones. Bodies. All over the place. There had been a slaughter, and she could even recognize her own mother in the crowd. "I hope you will all rest in peace," she whispered as she did a quick gesture with her hands, sending her love to everyone.

"It has come to my attention that LA was just wiped for whatever reason that must be, and I assume Las Vegas was involved. But if this was the plan afterall, what was the point in making us spend money to protect ourselves even better, when all you were going to do was this? Wiping an entire city after recently giving them the nod and not have "random nobodies" go out there and shoot us? Did you want us all to yourselves?"

"It just makes me wonder, you know. I know that I, and some of LA, had been wondering what this next meeting was about, since there was only a slight hint.

'... as there's a topic we need to address moving forward'.

Is this moving forward? Is killing us moving forward in this scenario? If this is the case, I sure do wonder why you didn't just do it sooner. You could have done it at any point in time, yet you decided to have us wait in anticipation. Well done, 'Lord Fitz'. I hope you can find better people to fill the plate than us - you sure will have a hard time though!"

"Anyways. I'm not gonna rant about this anymore. I am just curious, and I am excited to see what will come out of the reason for this. If it happens to be 'asleep when called to a meeting', I believe we must have a talk about FitzChivalry as well. I mean, everyone knows about his obvious sleeping problems!"

Kakuzu overheard the shots that happened from the degraded warehouse, he was walking by and leaving after business after finishing a chat his crew's headquarters. As much as he wanted to inspect the interior of the warehouse, Kakuzu could only imagine what he would find after looking inside. He shook his head and continued walking down to the local store, his mind was running with enough things already.

"Looks like some people had to pay the price. This is the problems we face with this life we choose." Kakuzu mumbled as he was just reaching the store, continuing like nothing happened but after all news will spread around the streets like a fire, it was only a matter of time before an explaination was given, but that falls on choice.

JOHN CENA!

Cena said as he ran and tackled a random bystander. He stood upwards, and was at the entrance of a warehouse. Upon hearing gunfire, he booked it out of the area. Hoping to not be in the way. He only knew how to fight with fists, not weapons.

Well this is an unfortunate and ugly turn of affairs.

Roflcopter dodges to the side as someone takes another shot at him.

I must also say I'm shocked at how fast that protection order went up to go along with this hastily erected announcement that served only for the amusement of Vegas to kill a few people.  It's the way it is though, this is the mafia after all.

And to continue it on I am currently taking donations!  That's right, send me your monies honnies and I'll try to drop a few of these folks for the amusement of everyone's kin whom are currently at odds with reconciliation.

Every cent is appreciated.

Roflcopter smiles as he send the collection basket to the person on his left.

When Kakuzu left the occupied store, he took another glance at the degraded warehouse he passed by earlier, seems like people were just walking inside and taking mental pictures while others looked like they needed to do something about it all. He shook his head as he continued walking in the other direction.

Fitz had dozed off waiting for the remaining LA leaders to arrive and once they finally got there, MonsterHair gave him a nudge to wake him up. Fitz was slightly angry, he had been dreaming about some bint called Isabella, she was loco. Fitz smiled to himself as he recalled parts of the dream.

"Crazy bitch" Fitz mused to himself.

As the LA contingent sat around the table, Fitz informed them he had to step out of the office momentarily. While Fitz and MonsterHair exited the office, the LA figureheads looked to one another confused.

"BRAP BRAP BRAP BOOM BOOM BOOM RAT TAT TAT TAT"

"Orange, stop making those fucking stupid sounds with your mouth" Fitz called out over the sound of the machine gun fire.

The Warehouse was lit up as the Las Vegas mob pummelled it with fire, completely killing the LA contingent. Meanwhile, other shots were sounded out across the country as the order was given to take out anyone worth of note working for the LA mob.

One individual managed to slip away and fight back and in the process he downed several Las Vegas mobsters. A valiant effort was produced by this individual and the hatred for the Las Vegas mob was fuel for the fire, people not friendly to the Vegas mob's ways managed to harbour and protect the man long enough for him to shoot some high ranking members of the Vegas mafia.

Fitz woke to the news after having fell asleep once again and was told that roflcopter was now dead. While the rest of Vegas mourned the loss of it's members, the sons and daughters of Los Angeles wept and shouted out angry comments at Fitz and Disorder.

"Nothing new there" Fitz figured. He'd been shooting nobodies for months now and it was amusing that there was a small army of sons and daughters sending him telegrams and threatening him in the streets.

Shrugging to himself, Fitz dozed off again. The Slothfather slept soundly knowing that another bunch of no name C's lay dead.

Fish entered the warehouse only to see dead bodies lying around on the ground. Her mother had told her about this place as something big and terrifying. Now that she was finally there, it didn't seem like a threat in itself. Actually, it seemed like there was some sort of peace in here. Everything was so peaceful. Sometimes, Fish caught herself thinking about taking a break from this life. Afterall, it seemed the real world with real jobs and things to do was better in times like these.

Then the peaceful time was interrupted. FitzChivalry had entered the warehouse as well after getting his beautysleep. Everyone knew how much it meant to him.

Judging by 'Lord Fitz' and his actions, Fish knew he had just written his own deathwish. It was clear as day, and everyone could see it. She wondered when it would be granted.

"If LA really was another bunch of no-named CL's, would you have let us expand our operations? Would you have let us done it twice? This favour-system of yours. Over time, we have had several people complain about it, and I see it now. It has never been brighter to me.

I am proud to say that I have been working alongside some amazing people, who weren't nobodies. We achieved something great - even though most of it may have just been within our city, I am sure that no one there will ever forget the fun times we had.

To get back on topic, it is not only the favour system that is getting rusty, and I am sure some of the prior CL's in LA pointed that out as well. What you have done is not disrespectful; the way you did it was. Coming here to the streets, showing off your 'amazing' power in this way, that is disrespect. I sure hope, for yourself, that it was your intention to write this deathwish upon yourself. If not, I am sure there are lots of people out there who are reconsidering your actions. I already know a few who do."

"I had lots of fun in the City of Angels, and I would not change that time for anything else. But this... this has made me open my eyes for what you have really become. Everyone else - beware. We have a man with too much power who is willing to kill anyone who crosses his path for no god damn reason.

If you wish to stay alive in these times, there's only one way forward. I do not wish to see more people being killed for fun. All things come to an end, and I think most people can agree that it is time to get rid of this regime.

Thanks for listening to me."

With that said, Fish wanders off without a care in the world...

LMFAO!! Give bigger HQ and extra protection therefore showing them 'favour' then kill them all....

Madness to think that the CL's were 'no-namers' when the idea of the free cities was to give those that had not run crews before a chance to do so - might also be worded as 'no-namers'....

Loving the chaos of this embarrassing regime...I'll be eating popcorn and watch this fall, might take time and I don't usually like attending funerals but I will be sure to make a big effort when the time comes...

Across the board, this is an embarrassment.
Report Post Tip
LORD Fitz I think it might be prudent to be more....erm well honest about your 'favour system'. At the time LV was taken out I was sleeping with, oops I mean as well as Fitz usually is. But your system stated that demonstration of favour would be via increase in HQ size or permission to increase protection levels. You granted both of those things to all but one crew in LV which by your definition states they were in favour. Then you shot them all.

So either you made a grave error in judgement in either affording them favour across both HQ size and to increase their protection (surely if you were still wanting to push them a bit you would of done one or the other and kept a dangling carrot to see what else they might do to impress you?) or your favour system is a complete farce. Seems logical that only one of these 2 possibilities are possible: either you fucked up affording them favour or you fucked up your own fucked up favour system by killing those you had just shown to be in favour.

In summary something (one) fucked up. I think this might be up there with one of the most ridiculous and embarrassing acts by a godfather. By all means come back with the phrase of this current time again 'I did it simply because I could' it's getting a bit predictable but saves you admitting you fucked up I guess.

Third option...upgrades devastate fortifications. Perhaps it's a strategic move?

Makes perfect sense! They have such weak guns they needed to do that to actually be able to kill them....of course. Oh and let that have more BG's too as a way to make the kills easier...loving the scraping around for any kind of excuse for a blatent fuck up.

Or . . . wait for it . . . something changed. I don't know the circumstances around LA being granted the right to expand or the circumstances around the decision to wipe them out, however, i do know that your logic is simply flawed. It is not an either or situation in which the Godfather either fucked up or the favor system is bullshit. It is entirely possible - and even plausible - that something simply changed and those who previously found themselves in favor no longer were.

Now, before you start on with some bull about how if they did fall out of favor that is somehow the Godfather screwing up because he missed something let's just be real. None of us have crystal balls and no matter how good a Godfather is at trying to determine how someone might act it is how they actually act that matters.

Now, I don't know if LA actually did something and frankly it doesn't much matter because at the end of the day the Godfather decided they needed to be removed and they were - such is the life we lead. However, I think it is silly to just automatically dismiss the possibility that it was a deserved removal simply because you don't know the reason why it happened.

Report Post Tip

Joe_Scalise , I'd like to point out that the reason for the ultimate death of LA had nothing to do with falling out of favour.

Even though a week passed after we were allowed to expand and protect ourselves further, there were no signs showing that we had done anything at all to fall out of favour. As one of his street speeches he once had, it said there would be so-called "warnings" before people would lose favour. Some of the stuff was hitlisting, public shaming and less protection. As far as I heard from my grandmother, none of this happened within the city of Los Angeles.

Even further, I am sure there would have been a proper reason if LA had actually done something to make themselves look bad. This "reason" that FitzChivalry came up with is barely a reason nor being published as a street speech by itself. All it shows is indifference and recklessness towards LA and its citizens.

As you said so yourself in the end, Joe, it was the Godfather's decision nonetheless. There was nothing to do about it - there is nothing to do about it. What happened happened, and even if Fitz had decided to make a public street speech about the reasoning, I am sure it would have sounded somewhat like this: Because I could.

I don't claim to know it all, but judging by the Godfather's actions and speeches held in the streets, it seems like he didn't really care in the end. Had there been a real proper reason for all of this, I am sure he would have spoken up as he has done before. But in this specific scenario, there has been nothing at all. Nothing for newcomers to learn from. Other than, of course, being as amazing as my grandmother and the rest of her city. That is something worth learning from.

Like I said earlier: What happened, happened. I suggest we move on as best as we can and try to make this world a better place as time goes on. There is no reason to dwell in the past.

Like I have been screaming on the street for days.

The reason why LA met it's demise is due to the donuts. The donuts doomed ye'all.
