Working Man Started by: Kakuzu on Mar 11, '17 05:42

Kakuzu was considered a working man among his peers. Less staying out in his crew's headquarters and always out on the move, though he was probably the last person expected to be sent out collecting his daily cut for the boss. Normally they just sent out the arrogant wise guy wanting to prove himself through minor work. However, that art gallery heist he participated in with another crew; there was a lot of personalities swarming in one place. You have the ecstatic person who always running their mouth and getting off task, then you have the dedicated people ready to do for something serious. One party outweighs the other.

Kakuzu was making his daily runs, deals usually going off in alleyways however but he knew where to find them, after all he was given a list by the boss before leaving the headquarters. Kakuzu came by several diners and then some run down houses so nobody would see him and his colleagues make a transaction. Everything was formal, like it should be. Each transaction he did he gave each one a working man's grip before they parted ways, Kakuzu's personality was different; he was mostly quiet and more of an on task person than being the one to scrds everything up last minute. He couldn't say he was too proud of handling grunt work but when money is involved; Kakuzu was in.

A local guy by the name of Sacromoni was common around the streets of South Side, but he was too much of a nuisance. He came up to Kakuzu running his mouth about the paper but shoulders collided instead as Kakuzu walked briefly past. He walked back towards headquarters with a grin on his face. Money was the play.

Kakuzu walked into headquarters, he had a decent amount of money in his pocket, lot of money from being involved into grunt work; that being the collector. However, you get to rough up hesitating and or refusing people if they don't cough up what they own next time around. Being a man among men was a type of hesure.

Kakuzu knocked on the boss' office before being told to walk in. Her bodyguards stood tall and remained sharp, they were like the thorns on a cactus. No pain given if untouched, pain is guaranteed if touched, just like it would pain all people. Kakuzu slid out the wad from his pocket sliding it right on her desk and along with the information on the list that was given to him was a sum of how much needed to be collected.

"Got a higher amoumt then expected. Looks like business is booming out in South Side boss, one failed to pay he was supposed to but the guy was left with a strong reminder."

Kakuzu was later dismissed and he stood around inside headquarters, being idle, waiting for another job. At the end of the day, money is the play.

A bodyguard that Kakuzu saw upstairs came down to where he was idly standing, giving him a grim look before leaving him a piece of paper by the table that Kakuzu was standing closest toThe bodyguard ended up walking back up the stairs to the office and letting out a violent cough. Someone obviously needed to get checked out, only a matter of time before he starts transferring his dementing sickness around the HQ.

Kakuzu snatched the piece of paper off the table, he simply read it and was given an address with simple instructions. Of course, this meant he had someone else to rough up today, adding to the count. The note read..

"Go to this address. Show the guy I don't play around." Kakuzu had work to do, who knows, maybe the guy will have cash laying around for him to take.

The game of cat and mouse was damn near imminent as he set out for the address listed in the piece of paper, within walking distance, no need to waste gas he thought. Of course, people get afraid if you just bust the door in, it's not polite. Then again, whoe ever said Kakuzu was polite? He knocked on the door twice.

Someone opened the door, oldish looking guy that looks like he's seen some things, no matter; Kakuzu bargeed inside as he held the man by his collar as he continued dragging him until he had reached the lobby. No regard for the door being open, the old man was knocked down, risking to go back to shut the door; the old man was still there cowering.

It was a matter of using his fists from there on out.
