Salami minding and taking care of business elsewhere gets a message.

"Hey Salami why do people bang their heads against the wall and expect something different to come about?"

Salami tosses the note in the trash and gets back to the business at hand. After she finishes up her business arrangements, she takes flight to these shores to immediately witness more bloodshed. She reflects on the message she received reviews the latest happenings, makes a few inquiries, visits the Obit section, pays respect, sends out a few messages and suddenly she smells a damn duck. 

She clears her throat and asks the fine citizens of these shores one very important question

How many times are you going to bang your head against the wall and expect different results?  When will you realize being in favour is nothing but a crock of shit?

Salami takes one more hard long look and chuckles at the triangle theme going on and thinks they could not  in a million years handle a one on one District theme.

What do I win?

Favour actually does mean a lot. It just doesn’t mean you are safeguarded forever in this competing and violent society. Open cities where everyone can start an operation is a healthy concept. Holding these people to certain standards is a healthy concept. Killing them when they don’t live up to the standards is healthy as well. It sets the bar.

Once that bar is set and you meet it, you arrive in the next stage; beat the competition. Some will never get the chance to make a dent in the competition. That kinda looks like what happened to Los Angeles last night. But I don’t know for sure as I’m not privy of the details. The story as the top likes us to perceive it will be shared with us undoubtedly.

How sad it may be when careers, hopes and dreams get torn apart - it’s the world that we live in. Open cities simply allow more people a chance at experiencing the office of crewleader and that’s a win. The favour system is aimed to raise the bar for everyone and that’s a win as well.

The reasons that so many people are dying throw a shadow over the system but those reasons are something you should be angry about. Not the favour-system itself.

It is indeed same old, same old. The favour-system and open cities allow for more variables to emerge in that story. Even if you don’t take over the world; once you get to run a family for a while, shaping your own fate and future - that’ s a pretty rewarding experience in contrast to sitting on the sidelines watching. You got to live your life. There’s plenty of people who pick a more safe and stable career under the wings of the strongest. But how much of an accomplishment is that path really?

Free rides should never be given. Being in favour means you did a good job, but doesn’t mean you can ride along forever. If you want to determine how long you ride and where to, you gotta take over the steering wheel at some point.

Aside from that, do you know a place where I can get some work as someone killed my boss and torched the place where I slept?

If you are out of favour you get killed

If you in favour you might be in favour or actually secretly out of favour and get killed

If you do well you get killed

If you want a city all to yourself other CL's in that city whether in favour or out of favour get killed

If you are a friend of Fitz you don't get killed....oh fuck it....wait......he killed most of his friends stood alongside him LV not so long ago most as they slept, fuck that rule doesn't work.

Jesus for a second there I really thought I had it worked out!! I will return to that wall with my head.....it is a complex system that is for sure!

Denzel enters a world that speaks on the favour system. Judging on "thee favour" system going on there are pros and cons to this approach. The favour system can and I am guessing completely unbalanced. Exempli gratia: Trickery. The weakest and most common approach in recent studies.  Must be something in the water these days.
