He makes his way into the new york's finest Hillside Club and heads for the bar...

"I'll have a cold one please, and leave the botle"
"what seems to be the problem?" asks the barman, "you look tired"
"you know, It's been a hell of a long day, I was back home doin some business and a deal went wrong..." he shakes his head sideways then continues..."Man, Mafioso these days sure changed a lot! we cant even do business the same way we use to.. you see a gangster, hell even a thug running around snatching purses and around 40 plus bodygards running behind him.."
"yeah I know, well with a rish father and an open appitite what do you expect ?"

...Showing a weak smile, DOMq Continues his drink, then takes out two cigars and lights one up.

"Here, consider this a tip... *winks*

Chade turns around from the drink he was sipping on after hearing DOMq's musings.

Hmm, im not really sure what a 'rish' person is, maybe your a little drunk and meant rich.

I can't help but notice you are complaining about low level assocaites with a lot of bodyguards. Well aren't you then complaining about yourself too? Your a wise guy, so still an assocaite of your family, and by the looks of the goons standing around you watching the shadows, you look very well protected for someone of your rank.

How can you complain about something when you are somewhat in the same boat?

Maybe you dont really know the person, maybe their fathers or mothers had nothing to do with the goons protecting them, maybe their CL see's potential and invested in them? Maybe they worked their asses off and got enough cash to buy them on their own. Maybe they provided info to others so that they could lock up the bums in some cities and got rich?

Who knows how people do it, but i can't see you complaining when you A) dont know the facts and B) seem to have inherited quite abit from your 'rish father' as well.

Smiling at the young fellow, Chade turns back to the bar and once again starts sipping on his Scotch.

Prophet turns towards DOMq, "Buddy looks life you have a purse there and at least fifthteen goons behind you, couldn't agree more with Chade." Prophet then turns his attention back to his drink.

This has been discussed many times before and we don't really know how many bodyguards anybody has. I mean, you know I am OWP. That much is true. But am I being protected by actually more than 50 people, or am I protected by 10 or 12 extremely efficient and well trained BGs that provide me with the same amount of protection 50 of the mediocre ones would?

All you know, is that it would take a LOT of skill to kill me in one shot, but the actual number of bodyguards is irrelevant.

As far as the reasons for low rank members to be so well protected, well, the reasons are their own and their leaders. Being from the most populated, richest and best protected city, I think you have enough people to ask why they run around with so much protection. That would seem like a better approach rather than talking in a tone that makes you sound like you are complaining about people hiring BGs to protect themselves.

Chuck cant help but laugh at what he have seen. A Mafioso seems to be surprised or complaining about some NY thugs surrounded by 40 plus bodyguards while doing some petty crimes. Ironically he is a NY too with 15 plus bodyguards surrounding him.

Yeah, I have to agree with the barkeeper and Chade. You must be tired or drunk. But seriously, in this thing of ours many are "unfair" because maybe they made the right decision on whom to work and maybe they're bloodlines are very known here in our crime syndicate. So, Deal with it, period.
