I have noticed since I've joined that it's easy for people to post over others. EX: Person A: "How did you stub your toe?" Person C and B reads A's question. Person B: "I stubbed it by tripping over a weight." Meanwhile, Person C is thinking of a response and doesn't see B's answer. Person C: "Yeah, did you stub your toe?" Person C submits their post and sees that person B had already answered.
So I would like to suggest that a person gets a little notification after replying.
EX: Person A: "How did you stub your toe?" Person C and B reads A's question. Person B: "I stubbed it by tripping over a weight." Person C hits submit like before but receive this instead of seeing their own response. There has been 1 (# of new replies to thread) new response while you were replying. Person C scrolls up and sees B's response and replies appropriately. Person C: "Ouch, that sounds painful." --------- I think by doing this it would make posting less hectic and keep others from getting confused. |

The watched thread notification already gets triggered when there is new activity, it normally has like a half a second delay from when someone posts in the thread you watched to when it lights up on your screen. |

the watch function as well as the @ function covers this, it is not necessary. |

The "Watch" function notifies you when someone else has responded. But, if two people submit at the same time things tend to get messed up. |

The watch or the @ didn't help. I only saw TheDonBots post, who I responding too. After I clicked submit. I saw your responses Squishy and Aislin. |

If its marked as a watch thread, are you saying that it didnt work, or you didn't notice it? If you didnt notice it, was it because you were scrolled down? Or did it blend in too much? I could use some feedback on what we can to to make it catch your attention yet not be overly annoying. |

It's true you can't see if someone else responded when you scroll down. I can see it well enough when I'm at the top. |

Squishy - is it possible for the eye thing to scroll with you as you're scrolling through a thread? |

It would be great to have the eye scroll down the way that the timers do. I have gotten to the point that I will scroll back up to check before I post to try and avoid this issue but would be nice to not have to. |
