The Coroners Office is Working Overtime Started by: Eric_Cartman on Apr 01, '17 10:34

Eric stands back and takes in the scent of blood and gun smoke. Familiar and not so familiar names are popping up on the Obit section of the local news. Eric knew regardless of how much disdain he had for the familiar names, those he had insulted or was insulted by via communication  and those he never had a word with, regardless of rank, all deserved a respectful visit by their graveside. He does his best to pay respect to all the fallen.

The racing thoughts and questions in Eric's'  head are working overtime too. Eric takes in a long breath.  Hand to forehead, he decides no time like the present to ask a very important.

Why did I come across some butt hurt folks who would be the first to call another a troll who depicted the same behavior? Do as I say and not what I do is acceptable?

Don AdriannaVixen ought to be commended for paying respect to her loved ones regardless of rank. As it stands, based on my visits to grave sights many upper ranks  are selective who they pay respect too.

RIP to all the fallen

Symfora nodded slightly as she listened to Eric. She could understand his views but there were some things that she couldn't make sense of.

I can understand what you are saying about the Don but what about those people that they had never crossed paths with? Sometimes people do not attend the funerals of those that they had never heard of. While others go and do obscene things. In times of war it appears that some people get a little bit crazy, and they start falling on themselves for petty grudges.

I could not agree that dancing upon someone's grave is an appropriate behaviour. Nor is attending just to utter some idiotic and down right rude remark to the dead is any better. Those things are best left alone in my opinion. Funerals are meant to be for the people that truly grieve those individuals. Otherwise what is the point of going? These troll like behaviours have no place in the funeral home or at any grave it only shows a lack of class.

I do agree that if you spent any time associating with someone and wish to say a final goodbye that you should do so regardless of who is on what side of the war. It is particularly nice to see leaders getting the chance to say farewell to individuals that worked for them. I think perhaps a lack of funeral attendance by the living may be because they are still a bit preoccupied.

Missing out on the chance to chat with Symfora, I recalled something I was told many years ago. The sense of hearing still exists after death. Hand to forehead, Eric is wondering if he should even putting this to the test and how will he ever know this tale is true. Then he slaps his forehead realizing this is not just about me and Symfora.

Dear Symfora,

First and foremost may you RIP. If you can hear me I would like to say thank you for your input. I also  would question  what does not make sense to you. You told me it is particularly nice  to see leaders getting the chance to pay respect to those who worked for them. I would have to say it is refreshing. Even the preoccupied make time to pay respect to their fallen just as Don AdriannaVixen did. What she displayed I have not seen in a long time.  What I find even more disheartening is the lack of respect for the fallen offered by the living top dogs.  Call me old fashion if you wish but do not ever tell me I lack sense.
