Just wanted peoples opinion on these two consoles. I have neither, but am thinking of getting one. Whats the consensus?

If your going to go on the internet the PS3 is free. Map packs for Modern Warfare and that are free. Less people play online though.

Xbox 50 euro for the year. Map packs are 1200 points. Way more people play though.

PS3 is free online, and such, and people say its better, but its not.

Xbox isnt free online, but has better online features, and more people play online. Also, paying for Xbox live, and microsoft points may seem unfortunate, but I pay about $50 for ONE YEAR!! Then points are extra, not really a necessity. YOu can always just buy a small amount if you only want to buy one thing with the points.

I say 360 is better, but whatever.

xbox 360 is much better i owned both of them but sold the ps3 u would enjoy xbox so much more.

How come? I have been told that the PS3 has better graphics and is quuicker. Is that right?

You either like xbox or you like PS3.

No-one here will ever agree. It's been shown numerous times. It's all about personal preference. I don't like xbox because I have never liked the control pad nor do I want to pay for online play. There are enough people online with COD6 and Fifa for me to know that I am never going to be left stranded without a match.

Just choose which you think suits you best.

The PS3 and the XBOX 360 have the exact sae graphics engine.. it is true that most PS3 games do use this to its full potential but the 360 has hundreds of functions to compensate... I do highly recommend the 360 from personal usage but Scandia has a good point.. you really have to try them both to find out if YOU like it or not...

Personally I have the ps3 which I mainly bought for final fantasy as I have never missed a title in that series.

If I could go back and relive that day, Id get a xbox but if I am honest Id rather wait for the next console from them.

The ps3 is ok....but with the software update issues about I wouldnt get a ps3 right now.

xbox, sole reason being the game play is better because of the controller. just fits your hand perfectly for gaming. you dont even have to think. you just play.

i do love the quality of the ps3 but xbox 360 all the way, its fun with lots of exclusive games that are good compared to ps3 exclusive, and even though its $50 dollars a year for live but now the ps3 is charging so i go Xbox
