La Hermandad Started by: FuegoSteve on Apr 05, '17 17:49

FuegoSteve was a little late to own his party. His appointment was announced a few days ago and since then he's been playing catch up with recruitment and getting his headquarters ready. Along with all of that, he still had his taco truck, Tacos El Fuego, to run. He had already gave his gratitude to his Godfather Disorder, and Don Lilith but he wanted to make sure others knew about his new position. Like the others, TheNihilistio and Gravitio already gave their own auth speech.

"Senoritas and vatos, I wanted to come out today and make my own speech regarding my newly appointed position. It is one I do not take for granted. The bold suit is something that is sincere to me. Being given a chance..."

Fuego stopped and noticed the same steed from earlier. It deliberately had a folding chair to sit in while he gave his speech. Fuego could not stop thinking...

"...being given a chance to be a leader is sacred I believe. To make it known for everyone to hear, I am going to be a leader that leads from the front, and gives chances to all regardless of their bloodline. This is the sole reason I want to lead. I think its important for the betterment of Las Vegas, but also for the world we live in.

So I stand here to say La Hermandad follows those words."

As the crowd starts to smile and applaud even, Fuego saw that lady again. @AmyPond somehow got her hair did between attending ceremonies. And for some strange reason she continued to associate herself with that darn horse that can sit in a fucking chair.

"@Senorita, can you please come up here to say a few words?"

Senorita was standing close behind FuegoSteve listening to his speech intently. She nodded as he spoke, agreeing wholeheartedly with every word that was spoken. She began to applaud and then realized that he had called her up to speak as well. Smiling she took a few steps forward.

There isn't much that I can say that you haven't Senor. It is an honor to be standing here with you today to announce our family. The last few days have left me muy emocional. I know what you can and will do for this city. And being able to join you in that endeavor fills me with such gratitude. A huge gracias to Godfather Disorder and Don Lillith for this oportunidad. We will make you muy proud! I look forward to building Paradise and the city of Las Vegas together to its truest potencial! Now, who's ready for some margarrrritas?!

Senorita turns to Stevo and smiles. She whispers congratulations in his ear and then kisses his cheek before going off to get herself a drink.

Running to the front of the crowd,  I scan the people behind me, looking to see if I can find any of the latino gang that I had passed by on the way here. Bewildered as to why they would chase me, all I can remember myself doing was pulling up my shorts and thrusting my hips at them. In my circle of friends that simply meant "Hello, how are you?", so I can't fathom as to why they would take offense to this. Perhaps they have the same IQ level as the child who heckled me back in Chicago?

Shrugging my shoulders as I look back to the front, I see the lovely Senorita. Pulling my shorts up, I approach the lovely looking lady, kiss her hand and begin to speak her native language.

"BONJOURRRRRRR. JE MEH PELLE GRAVITY. JAHDORE LLLEH FOOT. JEH VOODRAIS LEH CRAYON?"

Looking at me like I had just danced on her mothers grave, Senorita starts to pull away. Thinking that I have done some wrong, I quickly put my hands up in apology and signal for her to bump my fist. She kindly obliges.

"BALALALALAALALALAALALA"

In an instant, Senorita recognises my bloodline and pulls me in for a meaningful and long hug. Pulling back, I wipe the tear from her face, letting down my stupid facade for just a second as I smile and rub her chin. Gently kissing her on her cheek and promising to talk to her later, I pull my shorts up once more and strut my stuff as I walk over to that Mexican guy.

"Hi je-staaa-steve! I came over here as soon as I.......could be bothered to! How long has it been since we last met? Two hours? something like that anyway! We should go and celebrate, Mexican style! ARRIBA ARRIBA, UNDERLAY UNDERLAY CARPET!"

Taking Steve (I just get his name wrong to keep him on his toes) by his shoulder, we walk back into his family headquarters to regale about tales of old.

She finds herself standing outside FuegoSteve's headquarters with two of her most trusted members of her security team laden with boxes and bags. People around her gawking at what they probably assumed were items she had purchased on a shopping spree in disgust. She stands tall and walks through the doors to see her beloved Senorita standing with her hands on her hips and staring FeugoSteve down as he ate the last cookie in the place.

What is it my dear? Surely you can't be ready to kill him already? Here, come here my dear. Where can we put these? It's just some knickknacks and baking to make you guys feel at home.

She motions to her posse to find a counter, table, or desk to deposit their burdens on.

I just wanted to stop by and say congratulations to the two of you. The Agency offices are so quiet since you left. It's taking some getting used to but I know you'll do well in your ventures. I can't wait to get to work and make plans for our district with you guys.

She notices Anthony fidgeting as he looks at the understated watch on his wrist.

I'm so sorry I must rush off, apparently I'm to meet a cousin or something for dinner on The Strip. Just know that I do not question choosing you guys to lead alongside me and that I appreciate you taking on this role in the structure of Paradise. I really, really do.

As Anthony gets even more fidgety she sighs heavily and turns to leave.

Good luck my darlings. I'm just down the street if you need me!

There was a band playing outside in the streets this evening playing violins, vihuela's and trumpets among other instruments as they celebrated singing and cheering in words he could not understand. Curiously he grins shrugging his shoulders running across the street to see what all the commotion was about. Upon arrival Hisoka notices his boss Lillith checking her watch outside a newly built home before being escorted into her vehicle.

Hisoka smells pork being cooked and opens the gate seeing who lived here, knocking on the door he was greeted by his friend FuegoSteve who was eating a taco in one hand and with a beer in the other as he slid the door open with his foot allowing him inside. Taking a seat he glances around looking at Steve's head quarters, hoping tacos and beer would be arriving soon...

Nice place you got here Steve, the food smells great too. It's crazy to see how quickly things have changed for our family, seems like it was only just yesterday Lillith was smacking you aside the head for stealing the last greasy piece of bacon.

It's been fun being able to work shortly alongside you and to see you get this opportunity today running your own family. I'm sure you'll do an excellent job and I truly wish you the best! Don't be a stranger and remember to send out those invites for taco Tuesdays!

"But you don't understandddd," Amy whined at Sparkle-Pony as they walked down the streets of New York. "You had to have seen these shorts, they were amazing. I'm telling you, the beauty parlor has ALL the best gossip. Come on, we can get your mane did, get some pretty barrettes in there... if nothing else we might find something better to do!" She bat her eyelashes at the magnificent pony and knew she had won. They arrived at the shop and settled in, getting pampered as they listened in on the conversations.

"Ohhh, girl," her hairdresser began as she started to curl her hair. "Are you heading to FuegoSteve's speech tonight? I heard there might be some free tacos!"

"Free tacos?!" Amy straightened up in her chair, her interest captured. "Wait, who the hell is FuegoSteve?"

The hairdresser rolled her eyes at Amy's ignorance. "FuegoSteve?? He just got authed in Las Vegas?" She paused before continuing, "The guy with the taco truck?! Girl, are you living under a rock?? That man has one of the best mustaches I've ever seen... and you should see his right hand!"

Amy looked over at Sparkle and shrugged. "Free tacos?" And with that, their evening was set.

When they arrived, they grabbed two folding chairs out of her car and sat down to people watch. Yes, Sparkle-Pony can sit in a chair, she's talented, don't question it. Amy scanned the area and frowned. "Where are the damn tacos, I'm starving." She smiled apologetically at the pony, the gossip mill had let her down.

Her attention diverted as she noticed FuegoSteve. Oh it's THAT guy, she thought to herself. She noticed him at earlier speeches, or more so, she noticed the scent of tacos. It was kind of weird how he kept showing up, almost like he was following her! But eh, that was a pretty fantastic mustache, and if his tacos were as good as she'd heard, it might be worth the risk. "Maybe we should make friends," she whispered to Sparkle as the speech continued. "We can totally still get some food out of this."

They quieted down for the rest of the speech, trying to pay attention as their stomachs growled. Quickly, and much to their delight, it was over. Amy clapped excitedly, ready to put their plan into action when she was distracted - again. "Oh damnnn, who's the lady rocking the 'stache?? I wish I looked that good with a mustache."

"I'm pretty sure that's his right hand," Sparkle replied, almost as exasperated with her as the hairdresser. "I think we should make friends with her instead," Sparkle grinned.

"It's like you read my mind," Amy laughed as she took Sparkle's... hoof(?) and helped her out of the chair. They made their way over to share their congratulations, Sparkles eyes widening as she saw Gravity running past in his short shorts. "See?! I told you!"

Amy held her hand out to FuegoSteve as she walked up and shook his hand. "Congratulations on your new position... senor," she managed awkwardly. It had been a long time since she'd studied Spanish. "I'm not sure we've spoken before, but it's always lovely to see a new leader around here. I'm sure you will do beautifully in the expansion of Las Vegas."

"Soooo... got some tacos?"

Erin had been quite busy the past couple of days but knew she needed to take a moment to go congratulate a few good people. First on her list was FuegoSteve. The two had spent some brief time together in SweetNothings Retribution, may she rest in peace. FuegoSteve as she remembered was always the life of the party, she remembered him walking around the HQ passing out taco's and yelling "Vamos de Fiesta". Was definitely never a dull moment.

Erin made sure to take a special flight to Las Vegas. A bunch of hours after she left Chicago she finally arrived at Fuego's HQ. She didn't even have to go inside as he was out in the front stocking up his Taco Truck.

"Ah, FuegoSteve. It's been a little while, though I heard news you set up shop here in Paradise. Knew I had to come back to congratulate you, well that and I could use a well needed taco. Seriously though, congrats to you on your new operation. It's nice to see Paradise still flourishing. If you're ever in Chicago, make sure you stop by for a visit."

FuegoSteve shook the hand of Don Lilith and kissed her on the cheek. Paying his respects to the people above him was always his priority. Without them, he wouldn't be the man he was today. Nor would he have his taco truck...

Fuego also Hisoka's and AmyPondia's. They both seemed to be in attendance for beer and tacos and Fuego couldn't disappoint. Fuego also was mesmerized with the new curls in Amy's hair. It looked... WAIT. Theres that fucking horse again! It also had it's mane done! This is just starting to be too much... wait a second. That horse was sitting in a chair again... horses don't sit, let alone get their MANE DID.

"Thank you for the comments Hisoka and I'll be sure to pass on the invites for Taco Tuesday."

Fuego told his amigo rather quickly, not trying to be rude. Fuego wanted to once and for all meet this specimen. He witnessed the horse speaking to AmyPondia... "What the fuck is going on...", Fuego said to himself. I need to meet this talking, and sitting pony.

"Amy, such a pleasure to see you here...", Fuego said as he immediately turned to her friend, the pony. "Amy will you introduce us please? Your friend is magnificent. Never have I seen such a beautiful creature... And yes the tacos are against the curb behind you. Feel free to take and eat as many as you like."

Fuego could not break eye contact with that animal. He loved it... and the animal was about to know it. He turned to his right and his eyes were met with the lovely Erin's.

"Thank you for coming Erin. Means a lot to me that you could spend a day in Las Vegas even when you have your own celebrating to be doing, and a lot of work to get your own head quarters up. It truly means a lot."

TheNihilist was hungover. As fuck.

He had flown into Vegas the previous night and hit the casinos with some old buddies and bimbos. Needless to say he drank more last night than he had in weeks, he had been so busy he hadn't had time for fun. But last night he was finally able to let loose and just have a good time. But he was paying for it this morning. He had to be up early and out to Paradise to attend a dear friend's commencement speech.

He was fashionably late (even later than normal) and his suit was still a bit rough looking from the previous night. He sat in the back with AmyPond and her pet pony, leaving his sunglasses on the whole time and jumping at loud noises. After about an hour he sobered up and bit and was able to approach the group at the front of the gathering and say his part. Fuego's stench of refried beans and guacamole made him a bit queasy, but he powered on valiantly.

"Hot Steve we call you, Fuego Esteban in your home country, or sometimes the combination of both the masses know you by, FuegoSteve. I can't express to you just how proud I am to see you standing here today. You are a man of principle and honor, and my own operation shares the common core belief of yours that all men should be given a fair shot in this life. I know you will do great things and make us all proud."

"I also want to give my thanks and congratulations to Don Lillith and Godfather Disorder. You have truly chosen the best man for the job in this instance and I am certain he will not let you down."

And with that he mounted Sparkle-pony and the trotted down the street in search of anywhere that you could buy coffee.
