Passwords

When signing up for the game you are prompted for a password.  Please make sure that this password is not known by anyone else that plays or may play in the future from your location(s).  This means it should not include your name, your character name, any part of your email address.. It should not be repetitive and it is highly suggested it is not a word in the dictionary.  A combination of upper and lower case letters along with numbers is more secure than "qwerty" or "12345".

If you are met with a password change screen out of the blue that means that your password is not acceptable.  Change your password to something more secure, not the same thing, and all will be fine.  We do this to ensure YOUR account is safe. If you refuse to change your password, keep changing it to passwords that have been previously forced to change, or argue with an Assistant regarding this you may be punished.

Leaving Your Account Logged In and Walking Away from Your Computer

Don't do it.  On more than one occasion we have seen high ranked and/or respected members of our community do this and end up in the Obits for it.  If you are playing from ANYWHERE there are other people please remember to log out.  If you do not then your account is open to anyone to do anything with.  In these cases death is inevitable and we will not revive you.  YOU are responsible for your account at all times.
