You're a great admin. I know you've got a good vision for this game, but you're right. The only way to truly reach that vision is to stop dealing with the emotions of the game, and to make all decisions based on what is right for the GAME, not the players. As a player, I know I sometimes would like things changed because it would be easier for me. But as an Admin I know that changes like that are never good, because they focus on too narrow a scope of player.

So taking a step back, and focusing your energies towards doing what is best for the game as a whole is the best option you have.

And hell, you've got an excellent admin team here, now it's just time for them to do their jobs cause you don't have to anymore.

 While it definately sounds like a bitter sweet decision, I beleive it is the right one. And furthermore, feel that just as you helped and influenced many with your personal approach here in game - you will continue to do so away from it. Possibly even helping it in more ways than you could imagine.

 Best wishes to you and although you and I only had breif discussions, your heart, soul and commitment definately shined through in every way. Both for the game and it's players. You won me as a player by allowing the game to be what it is. Thank You

Squishy, I honestly never thought this would happen. I am lost for words my friend and well.. I don't know what to say. You did a fantastic job my friend and I am sure we will still exchange our conversations over IRC. You, Billy and Anubis (and whoever else was involved) hired us HelpDeskers to help with all the questions and you have promoted the very few to Assistant so.. I have known you since the .org days. You always seem to be happy and willing to help. I guess all those years of taking shit from people has gotten to you. For everything you have done, people don't appreciate you or it. They take you and everything you do for granted.

Your a great administrator, and an even better friend. You have done great things to this game, and you have helped a ton of people. However, there will always be a group of people who will put you down for voicing your opinion on game matters or on "Character" issues. Being an administrator is hard, you have to stay out of some issues, but sometimes its hard knowing that this is your game and you can't see it fall because of the stupidity of players.

I appreciate all you have done for me, and the game. You have done a lot and have given me a lot of NON-game advice and help. For that, I am grateful, and happy to call you a friend.

I would hope to never see you step down from being an administrator, but if you think that is the best way to go, I respect it.

I wish I could slap some sense into people and make them realize how much you have done, and yet they just seem to push you away with their non-sense.

You've done a great job with this site, and I hope you keep improving it.

As sad as it makes me to hear that you will no longer be involved with the game devlopment, I do understand your reasoning behind it.  I have no doubt that those you have left in charge will do their very best to fill your very big shoes.  Know that there are many many people from all over the world that appreciate everything you've done for this game.  I'm proud of what you've brought it to.  I promise I'll still donate & I hope to see you on IRC very soon. :D

You don't know me Squishy, but i'd like to thank you for all the hard work you've put into this game. All the fantastic changes you've made have kept me coming back for two years now and i intend to stay here much longer. When i finally get a bank card i'll be sure to donate.

Squishy you do a great job.  I used to play around here (.org) several years ago and your dedication to maintaining and improving the game has always been evident.  It's awesome that you allow us to participate in coding / site decisions and that you openly seek feedback and counter-suggestions.  I'd hope that what's good for the userbase would also be good for business (in the long run, right?).  I'm sure most of us know you've got the best in mind and I'd hate to see you step down over some garbage.  Everyone has temper flares from time to time and this incident seems to have gotten particularly ugly.  But like most everything else it'll blow over in time and it would really suck to see permanent damage (like the loss of a great administrator) come of it.

What you have done for the game has been amazing.  I don't have the adequate words to say because I've never been in your position, so I will simply say thank you for your hard work, devotion, time, and energy that you have put into this site as an admin, and owner.  I wish you well as you step out of Admin mode, and hope to see you around on IRC.

I remember you closing down our chat room back in like 2002 *Iron Fist*, and putting up with cav and my evil ways for years. You were ALWAYS fair, and no matter what any other admin did, I have always heard nothing but good about you, and fairness and from being around here about 8 years or so.. You are the one person I would never question about ethics - ever. Keep up the good work, and its good to see this world growing so well

Squishy, its been a long run mate. This game has given me years of entertainment and I for one will miss having you as an admin. I fully support your decision, Ive played since the .org days and know you have a great talent and hope this decision allows you to excersise it.
