Kazuya had been keeping himself busy since he'd come to America not too long ago. He'd been paired up with a criminal organization that had called themselves Penguins. Expendable Penguins at that. Not one to care much about things like names, this made even him raise and eyebrow. But he quickly shruged it off once he seen that the people in this crew were people to be respected. It was while he was in the midst of a workout that, one of the guards who worked for a member of the aforementioned Penguin organization approached him. He handed him an envelope with a paper and a few pictures in it. Also inside was a sheet of paper with the man's personal details on it. Next to his name there was a symbol of a Red Rose. That made it clear that this was a contracted killing. The symbol was a mark of death and was a way for people in the know to know who had ordered it. An official stamp if you will. The target's name was Gordon Yagues. He was a now retired cop, given that it was the RHM of the crew that had ordered this kill this cop must've been crooked. Nothing new there but this one must've done something or knew something he shouldn't have. Kazuya wasn't a man to care about such minor details. The facts were that this guy was marked for death, and that he was the one who had been given the job. After looking over the details of the man he looked to the guard who had given him the envelope. Usually there was a message along with this. Nowhere had anything talked about his pay. Kazuya cared about that more than anything else. Sure he enjoyed breaking someone's neck as much as the next blood thirsty killer. But he didn't work for free. The man who had delivered the envelope told Kazuya to see a man named Salvadore after he had gotten the job done. Assuming that was who was gonna be paying him Kazuya walked off from the man. He had prep work to do. He'd have to observe this target for awhile. Familiarize himself with this man's schedule, what he normally did on certain days, the places he frequented, the people he talked to, and come up with a plan on how best to get rid of this dead man walking. He may have been more an impulsive man then a planner but he was by no means a fool. And in the predicament he's in now, he couldn't afford to be as reckless as he would like. Unfortunate that. This would now take longer than he wanted it to. It didn't take long to pick up the movments of this retired cop. Actually he seemed to be rather paranoid these days. He stayed around his house most days. He had new security systems installed recently. When he went out he always made sure to keep checking to make sure he kept his firearm on him at all times. He also tried to travel with a couple friends or so. They looked to also be retired cops. Even though he didn't mind killing a few extra cops, he figured the heat it would attract on himself and the organization he was apart of wouldn't be too good. With that in mind he started to observe closely the times when the target would be alone. Being that he was paranoid those times were few and far between. But it would seem the best time to strike him when he was alone was those times when he barred himself inside his house with him, his dogs, his guns, and his security system. Kazuya wasn't worried. This man seemed to be over reliant on a gun, as was the problem with most of the people he had met since he has been here. Kazuya was a man who would much rather kill a person with his hands over a weapon any day. He only relied on using a weapon when he had to or was ordered to, in order to send a message. He had no such order this time, so he would be doing this one his way. Kazuya waited until an afternoon in the middle of the week to carry out this kill. The target usually stayed in on Wednesdays seeing as some of his other buddies had prior engagements. Also since being divorced the man had taken to a habit of calling over prostitutes on days that he stayed home. He must've had some deal with one of the brothels in the area. Kazuya would use this to his advantage. Seeing as he would rarely call over the same girl, the dogs were already jumpy because there was a person around their owner that they did not recognize. They wouldn't stay quiet so he would leave the dogs outside barking while he handled his business inside. This worked for Kazuya as he could use the sound of the dogs barking for cover to get inside. He wasn't worried about the dogs causing problems for him as he was prepared to get rough if need be, but to avoid all that he had bought a couple of bag of dog food for the dogs to tear into for a bit. The target tended to neglect the dogs while he was busy with their company. So the animals would be hungry and that should keep them busy long enough for him to sneak inside. After watching the girl go inside and taking note of where the two dogs were outside, Kazuya made his move. He walked up to the fence in front of the house normally. Once he reached the fence the dogs attention shifted from the house to him at the fence. Once they began running up to the fence and barking, he pulled out the medium sized bag of dog food and a pocket knife. He cut open the bag of dog food and tossed it over the fence a fair distance away from him. The dogs followed the bag and went to go eat. With them distracted he picked the lock that was kept on the fence. Credit to the Target for being very cautious and taking little to no chances. Kazuya had little problem picking the lock, which was good because the dogs wouldn't be distracted for much longer and he still had to pick the lock to the side window. That was the only one that wouldn't set alarms going off. Opening the front gate and closing it back he left it unlocked, and quickly moved to the window that he had scouted out. Reaching the window, he was getting frustrated with all this sneaking about. He tried to force the window open from the outside but it was a bit harder to do than he thought. He glanced over to where the dogs were finishing up the bag of dog food and found that he was about out of time, and he was about to possibly lose the element of surprise. All this added up to a now pissed off Kazuya. A pissed off Kazuya who was no longer interested in being stealthy. With that in mind Kazuya reared his fist back and threw a strong punch at the window. His fist went straight threw shattering almost all the glass. He quickly knocked the rest of the glass out the window before hopping inside of the house threw the now broken window. He walked quickly to the upstairs room where he could hear screaming. He knew immediately that his appearance was no longer going to be a surprise like he had planned. Good. He was mad now from all the pointless effort this took and he would be lying if he didn't say he wasn't interested in a fight now. Kazuya quickly walked to the upstairs bedroom and was greeted with the sight of his target in just his underwear. He had his gun and was holding the girl around the neck with the gun pointed to her head. He was shouting some nonsense about not taking another step or he would shoot the woman. Did this fool think that Kazuya cared if he killed this woman? This was the target's mistake... Not to mention that the woman was frantic, so if he took his gun off her to aim at him, he would dodge and the woman moving would throw his shot off anyway. So he had no choice but to shoot the woman. Kazuya didn't mind using this woman as a sacrifice, he was never the one for sentiment, and he sure as hell wasn't gonna try to SAVE this woman. He wasn't being paid or ordered to do that. He was paid to kill this man though by any means. Time to test this cop's mettle. He took a full step forward toward the cop but stayed on the balls of his feet, body tense and ready to move in a split second should it come to it. As predicted, he tried to move the gun to Kazuya, who ducked once he seen the man's arm begin to move. The next few moments went by in a split second. Kazuya rushed the man from a lowered position and swatted the gun out of his hand. With that the target dropped his hold on the prostitute and she ran somewhere. Out of the room Kazuya presumed, and Kazuya wrapped his hand around his targets throat and started to squeeze. The man strangled and tried to squirm out of the one handed choke Kazuya had on him, but the target was unable to overpower him. Kazuya had a cold look on his face as he looked quite bored and if he was honest with himself he was. Like most people he killed, if you removed the weapon from the man, the man was useless. With this thought in mind Kazuya threw the man to the ground with a sneer. Gordon was too busy gasping for air to try to do anything else. Kazuya walked up on the man who was now on the ground and kicked him hard in the side of the head. Gordon was dazed. The kick had probably concussed him. Kazuya gave a shake of the head as he looked down at the man. "Pathetic." Kazuya said in disgust. The man was too out of it to respond. Kazuya looked at the man for about another second before he stomped him in the head a few more times and saw the life leave his eyes. He reached down to check for a pulse, and found none. Truly he was disappointed. He would have thought this former cop would have been more of a challenge. But he wasn't. He couldn't break a one handed choke. It truly was sad. Kazuya made sure the man was dead before heading downstairs and exiting the house. The dogs were barking again but not at him this time. They had cornered the prostitute who had tried to make it out the fence but got scared and tried to run away from the dogs instead. Apparently she had fallen and the dogs had her down. She was trying to crawl away backwards from them but they crept on the girl slowly knowing she wasn't going anywhere. The dogs almost seemed sadistic. That made Kazuya smirk slightly. The woman made eye contact silently pleading for help. Kazuya snorted and then walked off to exit the property. His job was complete and he had money to collect. That was all that mattered to him at this point. You never forget your first people said. This was his first contract in this country. And if ever there was something he wanted to forget it was the boring amount of resistance this man put up. |
