| Start up stat allocation | Started by: Leftyy on Apr 18, '17 16:49 |

I'm sorry for the brevity of this, I know most suggestions are very well thought out but my point is a simple one. If we're allowed to continuously roll over and over until we like what we see for a starting up stat layout, what would be the difference of allowing us to allocate our own points? |

| That way youre saying you can invest all your points to stealth, vision and defense and whats left to your gun making your character very overpowered setting the difficulty of the game to really easy. I would like that to happen also but would lose the fun of training skills so I'm a bit against the change as i see it fine as it is, good suggestion though. | |

I think it could be tweaked into a balanced thing, like maybe have a minimum for each stat line, or allow only one stat to be maxed out etc. I'm not very good with the specifics but I feel like it's a different mean to the same end. But instead of spending 5 minutes continously re-rolling we could just do it ourselves. |

| Say 50 points divided into the stat categories, but a min max per stat to prevent stacking the box | |

Every roll of the anwers actually has a corresponding answer set in the old method. There is no "100% wack, 100% defense" answer set. The purpose of rolling is just for those who havn't been passed down the knowledge of what the best answer sets are by their sponsors to not be at too much of a disadvantage. (The best answers in the game are only obtainable by RP answers, rolling only has maybe the top 99% of the answer sets in its array) |

I wasn't aware that's how the rolls worked. I assumed it was just RNG. Makes sense though. Preciate ya takin the time to at least look. |

| They could make it were you choose your prefrence. After all if you know the answers or keep rolling it is the same thing. They can even cap the intial max. Or only give so many points. | |
