Chickenz stretched as he stepped out onto the busy Chicago streets. To him, it seemed a damn shame to spend such a beautiful and sunny day doing anything other than meeting new people and possibly getting his hands dirty. Besides, making a little money never hurt.

As he mulled over a few ideas, he absent mindedly crossed the street without paying any attention to where he was going. A truck screeched to a stop mere inches away from him, and the driver laid on the horn and screeched profanities at him.

All at once startled and snapped out of his thought trance, Chickenz flipped the driver the bird, slowly ambling out of the way. He may have been in the wrong, but he'd never admit it.

Once he was safely on the other side of the road, he turned around to make more crude gestures at the driver when he noticed that the truck was hauling a load of cigarettes. "Hmmm..." He mumbled to himself. "That may just be it."

He chuckled, quite pleased with his newly formed plan to hijack the truck and offload the cigarettes to make a bit of pocket change.

"Only problem here is that this is a little more than a one person job. Think I'm gonna need to find some help for this one."

Chickenz leaned back against a wall, lighting up a cigarette and taking a deep drag, blowing the smoke out of his nose and muttering to himself.

Conall was trolling down the sidewalk when he saw a man step out onto the street not paying attention. Lucky enough for him, the driver was paying attention and managed to stop before turning the man into a greasy splat on the road. He chuckled a little as the man flipped the driver off and kept walking. As the man finished crossing the street he turned and looked back at the truck and noticed what it was carrying. Conall picked up on that gleam in his eye and figured the guy had an idea to hijack the truck. Good thing Conall was a clumsy guy, this was definitely his sort of job.

Conall tripped over a crack and fell down into the road in front of the truck making the driver get on his horn again, and scream some more obscenities at this new distraction keeping him from doing his job properly Conall rolled just enough after he hit the ground to face the man casually smoking a cigarette against the wall and wink at him before grabbing his leg and acting like he had broke it. Screaming in pain he called for help.

Chickenz looked up at the sound of another blaring horn, once again yanked forcefully from his thoughts.

Surveying the scene, he saw that a strange Irishman was now laying on the ground in front of the cigarette truck, clutching his leg and screaming for help. As he flicked his cigarette and began to rush over to see if he could help, he noticed the wink. He suppressed a grin, then continued his approach as the driver was exiting the truck to check on the Irishman.

"Hey, buddy! You just gonna stand there or what, eh?" he shouted to the red-faced driver. "Help me get this guy up. We can load him into your truck and take him to the hospital."

Chickenz knelt down next to the man laying in the road and whispered to him, "Name's Chickenz. Nice ta meet ya. Help me get this truck and we can split the profits right down the middle. Should be easy."

With that, Chickenz extended a hand to the Irishman, offering to help him up.

Conall took Chickenz hand and shook it once as he mumbled "Names Conall, you got a deal" so the driver couldn't hear him. He then started to pull on that arm so his partner in crime could yank him up into a sitting and then standing position. "I think I broke my shin!" he growled at the driver as he came around to see what was going on. Enlisting the drivers help he leaned most of his weight onto the driver testing the man's strength as they hopped along towards the passenger side of the truck. The man seemed fairly weak, must just drive the truck and let someone else do all the loading work. As they near the passenger side door Conall drops his supposedly messed up leg hard, mashing it down onto the man's foot.

Report Post Tip
Chickenz swings a vicious elbow just around his new partner, catching the driver squarely in the nose, knocking him out cold with blood pouring out of his nose all over the road. Noticing the keys are still in the truck Witt the engine running,he graces up the driver and tosses him in the back.

"We can drop him off somewhere on the way. Best we make ourselves fucking scarce."

Chickenz quickly hopped into the driver's seat, grinning broadly at his new pal.

"Appreciate the help. Got anything better planned, or do you wanna help unload the goods? If not I can always find you later to deliver your cut."
Report Post Tip

Conall jumps in the passenger seat and slams the door shut, "Hit it!" he says keeping an eye out for coppers. Last thing they needed was for one to walk around the corner. That's the kind of luck Conall has though, as sure enough he hears the whistle of a copper running up behind their truck. Lucky for the duo hes on foot, shouldn't be hard to out run this dumb street cop.

Report Post Tip
Chickenz slammed the truck into gear, flooring the gas as it roared forward, going down the narrow street just as fast as the heavy truck possibly could. He tightened his grip on the steering wheel, taking a sharp left turn down a alley only just wide enough to accomadate the width of the truck.

Coming out of the alley, he took an immediate left, then an immediate right, heading towards the freight yards. He figured that if nothing else, they could move the smokes over to a clean truck and leave the hot one in it's place, hoping nobody would look hard enough to be able to tell the difference between the two.

Chickenz looked behind the truck to see if they'd lost the following foot patrolman, but began to swerve and so immediately placed his eyes back on the road in front of him.

"Look clear back there? See anything?"
Report Post Tip

Looks behind him and doesn't see anyone running behind them. "Looks like we lost him," he says still looking back. After a bit he turns around to watch in front and relaxes. As they continue to drive along Conall notices something in the side mirror. Taking a closer look he sees their unfortunate passenger is starting to stir in the back. "Time to get rid of our friend back there" he says pointing a thumb towards the back of the truck. He keeps an eye on him to make sure hes not doing anything stupid with the cigs.

Report Post Tip
Chickenz turned off the road and down a long alleyway which he knew ended in a square section nestled between some apartment buildings. Nice, quiet and secluded. He pointed the truck towards the alley exit, leaving it running in case a quick getaway was need.

He hopped out, walking around to the back and grabbing the driver from the bed of the truck. He yanked him out, onto the concrete, reaching into his pocket for the man's wallet.

Checking his ID he saw that the man was a local, with a family nearby. He slapped him awake.

"Look, pal. We're taking this here truck and everything in it. Now, what you're gonna do is forget our faces, got it? Hate to see that lovely little townhouse of yours go up in flames with your family inside. Got it?" He said, staring the man dead in the eyes.

"Y..Yes, of course.." The driver relied, bloody and extremely shaken.

"Good." Chickenz replied, reaching into his own pocket and pulling out a hundred dollar bill. "Consider this a token of good faith. Go get yourself cleaned up, and buy those kids of yours something nice."

Chickenz then instructed the man to wait at least 20 minutes before leaving the alley after the truck.

With that done he hopped back into the drivers seat, pulling slowly out of the alley and back onto the relatively quiet city street.
Report Post Tip

Conall waves at the driver from the passenger seat of the truck as they pull back out onto the street. Pulling a cigar out of his jacket he bits the end off of it and spits it out before sticking it into his mouth and lighting it up. After taking a puff he looks over at his partner and crime and realizes it might be a tad rude of him to not offer up a cigar. Shrugging his shoulders he pulls out a second cigar and offers it to Chickenz, he figures the hard part is done now to just offload the goods and split the earnings.

Report Post Tip
Chickenz nods politely, accepting the cigar before biting off the end and lighting it up.

"Much appreciated. Heh. Hell of a good time back there, I gotta say. Looks like we've easily cleared a good $15,000 between the truck and it's contents. Not bad for about an hour's worth of actual work."

Taking a big drag from the cigar, he begins coughing and choking, having attempted to smoke it like a normal cigarette. His face turning red and his eyes tearing up, he continues With a bit of effort, trying to act like he didn't just make an ass of himself.

"Might..*hack*as well find some place to offload the goods here.*cough* I reckon we can probably...*cough, cough*Sell the smokes in parking lots near factories. Getting to be about the working stiffs break time. Then, as for the truck, we can either try to sell it, or just burn it. Fire and explosions are always nice. Your call on that one."

Chickenz concludes his sentence with another puff on the cigar, this time mulling over the flavor of the smoke without actually inhaling, having learned that particularly painful lesson the first time.
Report Post Tip

Conall nods as the figure sounds about right. He chuckles a little as Chickenz chokes on his first drag of the cigar. He's been there himself so no need to belittle the other man, he'll get used to it soon enough. Celebrating their successful job before it's completion is something Conall has grown fond of, although some people tell him it's a bad omen. "Ay, take it easy with that cigar. It's not a cig my friend." He nods at the man and shows him how to take a proper puff of the cigar. He nods again as the other man does it right the second time around. Looking around he sees they are nearing some factories and points out one off to their left, "Think that one looks good for us"

Report Post Tip
Chickenz cut the wheel to the left, pulling in as the people poured out of the factory doors. He pulled the truck to a stop directly in the center of the lot where it could be plainly seen.

He jumped out, leaving the engine ruining, and began gathering up a crowd.

"Cheap smokes! Cheapest you're gonna find anywhere! Four packs for the price of one! C'mon! We need to sell 'em all folks, and quick!"

He starts handing out cigarettes and taking the money from the sizable crowd that's gathered. Soon enough it seems crowds are coming from other factories, and the truck is in the middle of a huge crowd.
Report Post Tip

Conall hops out the passenger seat and jumps up into the truck. As Chickenz calls em out he tosses smokes out to the ones that pay up. Working together with his impromptu partner the two quickly clear out the truck making plenty of cash during the workers smoke break. Just like Chickenz said for about an hours worth of work and one bloody driver the two have made a killing off of the truck full of smokes, now they just need to sell the truck. Looking around at the crowd of workers Conall has an idea, he waves Chickenz over and crouches down in the back of the truck to talk to the other man. "Hey, you think one of these factories wants a truck for cheap?" he raises an eyebrow at the other man.

Report Post Tip
Chickenz nods. "Worth a shot, eh?"

Chickenz sets about counting up and splitting the money already gained from the tobacco. "Wanna go ahead and check around on that one while I keep an eye out for John Law?"

Chickenz took the two halves of the money, placing them in two separate envelopes, holding one out to the Irishman.

"Six and a half grand so far. Anything you get from the truck is just gravy."

Chickenz lit a cigarette and leaned against the truck, watching the entrance to the lot.

Tris was watching the whole heist go down. She didnt see a need to get involved, it looked like they had it under control. Cigarettes were a dime a dozen after all. She didnt have a whole lot of time to get back to Detroit. The Detroit Cougers were playing later that evening and it was a playoff game, Stanley Cup on the line.

"oh what the fuck" she muttered to herself as she disappeared, but not quick enough.  Someone else had witnessed that heist and called the cops. You could hear the sirens blaring as they got closer and closer.

"stop right there!" yelled the cop at her

she smiled briefly as she withdrew her gun and shot the cop in the chest. Seeing that as her opportunity, she got in her car and yelled for her driver

" GO! GO! GO!" she yelled as the driver peeled off and took her to her plane.

Conall takes his share of the cut and nods his head. He shuts the truck off and pockets the keys as he walks off towards the nearest factory, might as well try his luck there before going off any further. Striding across the parking lot he heads up the stairs and knocks on the door of what he assumes is the owners office. Turns out it was the accountants, but from there he received directions to the owners office. He makes his way over to the owners office and knocks there, after waiting a few minutes the owner finally lets him in to hear what he has to say. He tells the owner he has a truck for sale, real cheap like since he doesn't have papers for it. The man seems interested and the two haggle over prices finally reaching a sum of 5000 for the vehicle. Conall shakes hands with the man and exchanges 5 grand for the keys to the stolen truck him and Chickenz parked outside.

Once outside Conall returns over to Chickenz and gives him half of the money. He has a code of honor, don't swindle criminals, only naive men who deserve it. "Well then, looks like our business is concluded here." Conall gave Chickenz a bit of a salute, re-lit his cigar and headed towards the road to hail a cab.

Report Post Tip
"Looks it." Chickenz said, ticking his cut from the sale of the truck safely in his pocket with the rest of the cash.

"Looks like I owe you one. Come find me if you need a spare set of hands on another job." With that, he gave a wave, then cut through an alley heading back towards the center of the city.
