Harvey had just arrived in Chicago and was headed to the south side of town to find a hotel to stay in for the night. He jumped in a cab and got dropped of near the Drake Hotel.. seemed like a nice place. As he got out of the cab he saw ShadowDante on the other side of the street carrying what appeared to be a large happy birthday balloon. 

ShadowDante had been a good friend of Harvey's late father so he figured he would go say hi. Harvey ran over... almost getting hit by a car on the way... to say hi.

"Hey man how's it going? What do you have there? Celebrating someones birthday?" Harvey asked

"Ahh oh this? Yeah a little girl was selling them back that way" Shadow said, pointing back where he had came from

"So you bought one why?" Harvey asked, a little puzzled why a tough looking mobster like Shadow was wandering around town with a pink balloon.

"Well she asked me.. said she was raising money for something, I don't remember fuck off... you wanna come over for dinner and have a few drinks or what?" Shadow asked

"Alright I guess, but you gotta lose the balloon...." Harvey said with a chuckle

They flagged down another cab and Harvey hopped in.

Harvey didn't know Shadow all that well, he just knew of him from his father, but hell a home cooked meal and some drinks? Sounded like a good time, but it made the conversation a little awkward at first...

The cab stops and Shadowdante leans into the cab.

"Sorry sir, your services are not needed and here is $20 for the inconvenience"

Shadow turns towards Harvey as the cab drives away and Harvey says

"why did you tell the cab to drive away? do you live here at this apartment"

Shadow grabs the fence gate as there are kids having a birthday party in the front of the apartment and opens it and says

"yes i live here and that pink balloon you made fun of me for is for that little girls birthday" 

Well this was a little awkward, Harvey hadn't meant to sound like he was making fun of Shadow.. he really was curious why he was walking around with a balloon. Oh well, whats done is done.

"Oh that's nice of you then, do you know this family or do you just keep track of all the birthdays in your building?" Harvey asked 

Without saying a word to Harvey Shadow walked up to the building and handed the balloon to the little girl and wished her a happy birthday. Jeez this guy was doing a great job making Harvey feel like an asshole... so he ran to catch up and wish the girl a happy birthday himself.

"Hello their happy birthday" He said as he caught up to Shadow in front of the building

Shadow said "No, I don't know everyone's birthday around here. Her grandfather fought in the Great War with my father, so that is how i know that it's that little girls birthday." 

Shadow and Harvey walk in to the apartment. Shadow pours a cup of whiskey for Harvey and says

"I hope you do not mind having Grilled Salmon in Grape Leaves with Tomato-Raisin Relish? "

Harvey nods his head and takes a sip of his whiskey and Shadow turns to start cooking and says

"Make your self at home" 

Grilled Salmon in Grape Leaves with Tomato-Raisin Relish? This was starting to feel like a date or something, Harvey hopes Shadow doesn't have the wrong idea about this dinner. He figures he should probably be polite either way.. it did sound pretty damn good. 

"I think the Cubs game is on the radio right now, care to listen?" Harvey asks as he heads over to Shadows radio and turns it on.

Baseball. Yes. That should keep things friendly but not too weird. Harvey loved Baseball and maybe he was reading this whole thing wrong anyways. Maybe Shadow is just a good cook and a friendly guy? Harvey listened and sipped his whiskey as the 1st inning of the game started. Chicago was playing New York tonight so he didn't really want to miss it anyway.  Hopefully New York wins...

"You know I bet quite a bit of cash on this game, if Chicago wins I might have to move in" Harvey said, trying to lighten the mood. Shadow was busy cooking and hadnt said anything for a few minutes. This guy seemed to take his food pretty serious...

Shadow is just finishing plating up dinner as Harvey is starting get mad at the radio as the Brooklyn Robins are losing 7-3 in the bottom of the 4th.

Shadow put the plate of food in front of harvey and says.

"it look like you going to be losing alot of money and going to keep your head down when you go back to the airport in the morning"

Harvey Glares "fuck off" and start eating. 

Shadow phone start ring so he answer it.

"hello how can i help you"

Senorita "Shadowdante can you get to the warehouse there some Thugs trying to break in"

Shadow "yes ma'am"

Shadow hangs up the phone. Walks to the kitchen to get his shotgun, and looks at Harvey " Harvey do you have a gun ?"

Harvey "Yes why?"

Shadow "your dinner isnt gonna pay for itself. there are some thugs are trying to do something stupid "

Senorita hung up the phone and sat back in her chair. She wasn't sure what exactly was going on at the warehouse but she didn't have the time at the moment to go inspect it herself. FuegoSteve had given her a deadline for a project and it was quickly approaching. She really didn't want to mess this one up. A knock at her door made her sigh loudly.

"What?! I'm in the middle of something!"

Ramone, her most trusted bodyguard poked his head in.

"I uh... Did you want me to... The warehouse..."

Senorita waved him away.

"I've called ShadowDante, everything should be taken care of soon enough. Keep an eye out, but I have faith that he will follow through. Now go, don't interrupt me, I've got to get this project finished. Ay Dios mio, at this rate I'll never get it done! Vamanos, get going!!"

She returned to her work, waiting for word from ShadowDante that everything had been taken care of.

Harvey wasn't sure what the hell was going on "thugs doing something stupid"? what the hell did that mean? He figured he might as well go with Shadow for now and see what it was... 

"Alright, lets go check it out and see whats going on I guess" Harvey said to Shadow

They left the apartment and headed out to the street. Shadow led the way. Harvey still didn't know where they were really headed.

"This better not be some kind of setup" Harvey mumbled to himself.

They headed down the street, through an alley, down another street.. before long Harvey didn't have a sweet clue where they were. 

"Alright its just up there" Shadow said

Harvey and Shadow were at what looked like just a big warehouse. They climbed up on the dumpster on the side of the building and looked in through the window. Harvey recognised a few of the people inside immediately. They were durdens. What else was going on in there was anyone's guess... there was kitchen equipment, several large meat freezers, and shelves full of food. 

"Umm Shadow.. what the fuck is this place?" Harvey asked.. very confused.

Right as he finished asking the question a small woman came running out of the building and screamed "ahhhhh que son malo!" Harvey was confused even more... ​​​​​​​

Shadowdante jumps down to stop the small woman, as she was going to tell shadow what going on. Harvey Yells "GET OUT OF THE WAY"

TylerDurden's thugs started to shooting at us we escorted the small woman behind Taco truck.

Harvey run behind the truck yelling  "WHAT THE FUCK! I DIDN'T COME TO CHICAGO TO GET MY ASS SHOT AT" 

Shadow "Well your in this mess now"

Harvey "Guess so"

Shadow and Harvey hide behind the truck discussing a plan to take on the Durden's Thugs.

TylerDurden Yells  "You, you ,you and you go kill them now. Get the TNT here so we can blow up the safe." 

Harvey peeks his head form behind the truck. Harvey wave his hand signalling to shadow that there are two coming his way.

Shadow raises his shotgun and Harvey yell "shot" Shadow fire killing one and wounding the other at the same time. Harvey run out firing two Shots and killing two of them. He looks at Shadow says  "boom double headshot!" and " it 2-1 for New York now" Shadow grind and said "game on"

Harvey and Shadow ducked back behind the truck. This shit was getting pretty intense. But Harvey just had to ask before he got himself killed over this insane shit..

"Shadow... I gotta ask... Why the fuck are we risking our lives defending what appears to be a taco sweat shop?!" Harvey yelled to Shadow over the sounds of bullets hitting the truck.

"Fuck it, I hate Durdens anyways lets save this damn warehouse and eat some tacos.. I never got to finish my salmon!" yelled Harvey

Harvey waited by the truck while Shadow escorted the little woman from the warehouse to safety, he was on his way to the road with her when the injured Durden got up and snuck up on them. 

"Behind you!" yelled Harvey, but before he could even warn them the little woman turned around and screamed

"Odio tu cara!!!!!!!!!!" She yelled as she kicked him in the throat and punctured it, sending blood splattering everywhere. 

"Okay... nevermind" said Harvey

Shadow looked a bit shocked as the woman sprinted off down the street. He walked back over to the taco truck to meet up with Harvey.

"Alright lets do this" said harvey

Shadow and Harvey take advantage of the sun setting behind the warehouse as it had made a shadowy path between the truck and the warehouse entrance. They made their way through the shadows to the entrance. As they to the door, a Dunden thug walked out of the door. Shadow swiftly drew a knife and stabbed him, burying four inches blade to the hilt in his chest. Shadow pulled the knife out of his chest as blood sprayed out.

Harvey with blood splatter on his shirt walks in to the warehouse and hears the screams of the workers in the center of the room. Harvey raises his gun and fire three rounds. They hit the three gangsters guarding the workers in the head. By the time the three bullet casings hit the pavement the three gangsters were lying in their own pile of blood.

Shadow in his broken Spanish "Salir del almacén" said to the workers. The workers ran out of the warehouse. Shadow knowing that all the workers are out of the warehouse safely, walks over to of the gangsters and picks up a Tommy Gun and starts firing at the gangsters coming up from the basement.

Harvey notices from the corner of his eye, eight gangster's running up the stairs to the second floor.

"Shadow whats on the second flood?" Harvey asking Shadow 

Shadow stop shooting and said "Harvey i don't know why are you keep asking question. You don't get payed to ask questions."

"Well done, we are going to need to split up. So i'm going to take the second floor and you take care of the basement." Harvey says as he runs towards the stairs to the second flood.

 "that sounds good to me. Just make sure you go up there to kill people." said shadow as he steps down the stairs to the basement.

Harvey was still pretty damn confused. This was not what he was expecting when he came to Chicago at all. It was a little annoying that Shadow wouldn't answer any of his questions either, but he headed up the stairs with his gun drawn expecting a fight.

When he got to the top of the stairs he saw what seemed to be a large office, there was a painting thrown on the ground and an open safe in the wall. On the far end of the room there was a desk, he walked over and heard a muffled voice.

"Help me.." The voice said quietly.

Harvey walked over and kneeled over by the desk, it sounded like the voice was coming from under the desk... When he looked he saw a chubby little man with a huge curly moustache and a sombraro, laying on his side in the fetal position hugging a briefcase.

"Who the hell are you?" the man asked, he seemed startled that he didn't recognize Harvey.

"I'm Harvey, just here with ShadowDante..." The man cut him off as soon as he heard Shadow's name.

"SHADOW IS HERE!? GIVE HIM THIS!" the man screamed. He then handed the briefcase to Harvey, got up, sprinted across the room, and jumped clean through the second floor window behind the desk.

Harvey walked over and looked out the now shattered window.. just on time to see the man pulling himself out of the dumpster bellow and running off down the street.

"What the hell is wrong with these people" Harvey said so himself.

Harvey figured it was time to get the hell out of there so he grabbed the briefcase and headed back down to the main level to meet up with Shadow..
