| Manhattan goes down | Started by: Borkers on May 02, '17 17:57 |

Borkers steps out on the stairs of his Headquarters, looking up at the clear blue sky, mumbling something, then addressing the masses. Today is a sad day for New York, and a sad day for me. Today we've lost Reggie, -Santos-, and Niko, along with a few select members of their familys. It's safe to say Reggies retirement struck me by suprise, yet again, I had been privy to a few of the things he was dealing with. So although I consider it drastic of him to end his own life, I can see why he chose to. When it comes to my old friend -Santos-, I shot him. Simple as that. Needless to say it was a hard decision for me, but no matter how much love I had for -Santos-, I simply could not keep him around. There was no way. I'll not go into details as to why this happened. I have, and still hold, -Santos- in way to high regard to do anything to slander his reputation. I'll give a short mention to the fact Niko was shot though. This was simply due to an expectation that he'd stay loyal to -Santos-, and cause a problem for us. As I pray that the fallen will have found their place in heaven, I ask that all remaining members of both families are allowed to find new housing. I've allowed for I_32_I to set up operations in Manhattan, and house these members. Now if you excuse me. I plan to take a bottle of Scotch, and get shitfaced, while remembering my friends. |

Alex heard the announcement and nodded solemnly. "Condolences to the friends and family of all of the fallen, may they rest in peace." |

Dubliner awoke to the sounds of gunfire ringing throughout New York in near perfect time with each other. Thoroughly planned, thoroughly swift, thoroughly difficult. He stepped out into the street and heard Borkers' explanation. It was obvious that it was a terrible situation and extraordinary circumstance. No doubt he'd agree that this hurt the entirety of New York. Not just him, not just those who suffered, but the city as a whole. Dubliner knew this was a difficult situation that fell on the shoulders of Borkers. He decided he'd go pay his respects to his fallen brothers and sisters--even if he'd spoken to them prior or not. |

Unfortunate to see close friends of my family fall at such a needless decision. May they rest well. May New York find solace and comfort in their decisions, and hopefully the new builder of Manhattan can find more time to be here than they have in the past. But with such great accomplishments as being able to get 10 people in a crew and having 40 units after 100 days, I'm sure they'll be great. |

When I read Manhattan was going down I assumed someone was giving free blow jobs am I right? heh Bottom line here is you did what you felt necessary but its odd to me that you consider someone a friend and shoot them. That doesn't sound to friendly at all. Actually sounds hostile. But fuck it. You got the result you were looking for so its a win for you. Winners win Borkers. |

Pseudonym strolls out to the streets where GF Borkers was giving a speech about the events that had occurred in Manhattan earlier. As the GF finishes his speech, Pseudo walks over to Borkers, gives him a hug and a kiss on his ring. Today has been a rough day for the residents of New York. First, we were shocked by the retirement of one of our GF's. Which then led to the events that followed. I for one am out here to show my respect to the fallen. We lost some friends today. Friends that had been with us a while, friends that ought to be respected and payed proper tribute to.
Pseudonym raises a Toast to the fallen. As he returns to his duties in the Big Apple. |
