It was early in the morning and Tris was in her office drinking a cup of coffee. Today was an extra special day as it was time to expand her operations in Black Bottom. She was amazed at how fast the district was growing, and she was proud of her family and what it had accomplished in such short of time. 

She got up and looked out her window. The streets were starting to liven up as people were headed to work, the coffee shops would be opening soon. In the distance she could seen the sun beginning to rise in the east over Corktown, it would soon be shining bright over the whole city. 

"JAMES!" she called to her Bodyguard.

She could hear his quick steps as he entered her office. 

"Good morning Ma'am" he said to her

"Good morning dear, would you be kind enough to grab Toby and Haydos and bring them both here?" 

"Yes Ma'am, right away" James said and he bowed and took his leave.

A few minutes later, she heard more foot steps as Toby stepped in. Tris looked up from her desk and smiled

"It is time." she told him. He knew what she was talking about and right on cue, Haydos appeared at the door

" You wanted to see me?" he asked

"Yes, have a seat." she told him as she offered both Toby and Haydos a cigar. she didnt do Cigars that often but this was an occasion that called for one. 

She lit her cigar and began to talk to him.

"Haydos, you were one of my first members in this family. Since you have been here you have done amazing things for me and have been looking out for and helping our associates. You have served me loyally and it is largely in part, your efforts that have made our family as great as it is."

she took a puff off her cigar and then continued.

"As you know, I reward such loyalty and hard work. I would like you to serve as my Captain, here in Black Bottom. We are fast growing and we need to expand if we are to keep growing. I have every faith in your ability to lead, you have shown me that you have the potential to be a great leader."

There was a stunned look on Haydos's face as he took in everything that she was saying to him. "Thank you Boss! I shall call my family Dauntless."

Before he could say another word she tosses the keys to his new HQ across her desk and smiles. 

"The time for the party will be later on. Should you need anything don't be afraid to send a telegram to myself or Toby. We are here to help no matter where you may travel. Now go and do great things!"
