It was Kaira's first day in La Hermandad Headquarters. She was packing some of her late mother's stuff when she stumble upon a diary. There were stories and notes about her days as a member of the family since the first day. The garden incident. The cat. Stories about the members, notes about each one of them and on the last pages there were notes and plans about a new business. 

Her mother was about to open a business along side with the woman who raised her and treated her like a daughter. Kaira was smiling at the the thought of it and suddenly an idea crossed her mind.

@LaReina, Senorita's daughter was as talented and bright as her mother and also a part of the La Hermandad.

Kaira left the room and went straight into @LaReina's room. She stopped to catch her breath for a moment then excitedly showed the journal to her new hermana, explained how she wanted to continue their mothers idea and tried to convince her that they should go and discuss everything with @FuegoSteve.

LaReina was sitting by the window, staring out at the remainders of what was supposed to be one of the best days for La Hermandad. She closed her eyes and sighed softly. She could now only hope to try to fill her madre's shoes. However, in this momento, she was not sure that was even possible. Suddenly her eyes flew open as @Kaira danced into the room. LaReina couldn't help but smile. She adored this young woman so muy mucho already. She glanced down at the stack of papers @Kaira was holding in her hands.

"Querida, que? What is it that you have there?"

She could tell that @Kaira was muy excited about whatever she was holding onto. LaReina stood up and walked over to her dear amiga who began to explain exactly what she had found and what her intentions were with them. LaReina listened to @Kaira speak passionately about her discovery. The more she spoke, the more LaReina began to share her excitement. It would not take mucho to convince her that it would be a good idea to continue their madres legacies. It would be a way to honor them.

"Querida, we must speak with @FuegoSteve at once. I am positive that he will be onboard with this muy excelente idea. Come now, let us go speak to him immediatamente!"

She grabbed @Kaira 's hand and began to drag her toward @FuegoSteve 's office.

LaReina and Kaira left in a rush to @FuegoSteve's office. They probably took after their mothers because as soon as they knocked on the door they entered the room without waiting for permission.

@FuegoSteve was sitting on his desk working at some papers. The death of @Senorita caused a lot of chaos in the Headquarters as she was the one to organize everything. He looked sad and beaten. Two empty cups of coffee were laying on the desk and another cup that was half empty alongside Senorita's favorite bottle of Tequila.

Kaira and @LaReina started talking at the same time. They were trying to explain and plead for their cause not leaving any opening for @FuegoSteve to speak.

After a while of them talking in a loud voice and making all kinds of hand gestures @FuegoSteve stopped them. A moment of silence filled the room as he stayed there staring at them.

FuegoSteve listened to @Kaira as she told him her idea for her business. He couldn't think of a better way to get things going again in South Side. After losing both of their respected mothers, Fuego really needed a pick me up. He really couldn't think of a better way to get things up and going in...

"Woah woah, one at a time por favor. What is it that you want to do?"

'We'll continue what our mothers have started. We'll buy the bar and open the business according to their plan.'  Kaira replied with a lot of excitement. 

'I saw in my mother's journal that she already presented the idea to you and to @LaReina's madre so you already know everything that is to know about the topic. Me and @LaReina need your permission and your money.' she stopped and started giggling for a moment.

'And from there we will take care of everything.'

"If its the same idea to what your mothers had suggested, I am all for it."

Fuego takes a second, one last time to remember his friends... He reaches into his desk for an heavy filled envelop. It was filled with more than enough cash to get things going. 

"You have my blessing amigas. I am sure everything will be great. Let me know if you run into any issues."

Kaira looked at @LaReina and gave her a big hug. After saying gracias to @FuegoSteve for about a million times the girls took the envelope and rushed outside to start preparing everything for the soon to be opened business.

The news spread fast.

Within FuegoSteve's HQ, AlbertoJunior soon heard of Kaira and LaReina's plans for a South Side bar and loved that idea. He saw a very enthousiast LaReina skipping through La Hermandad office and Junior stopped her to ask that one essential question that came up in his mind..

Congratulations with your plans going through! Will donkeys.. uhm.. let me think.. burros.. be allowed inside of the bar?

LaReina was in bueno spirits after leaving Senor FuegoSteve 's office. Kaira had really made everyone's dia at the headquarters. She came to a sliding stop as AlbertoJunior called to her. Listening as he spoke, she began to giggle.

"Mi amigo... Lo siento, maybe not  in the bar. Que if we put up a hitching post directly outside the doors? Would this be adecuado?

It didn't take long until Kaira and LaReina managed to get everything ready for the big opening so after a few days the bar was ready to be inaugurated.

Kaira made sure that all members of the La Hermandad found out about it and asked all of them to come by for a few free drinks. She also asked FuegoSteve to be the first one to go on stage and delight them with some of his great jokes. 

The news of Ilene not being allowed in hit AlbertoJunior quite hard.

But after seeing Ilene trash the floor of their own shop, Albertino understood why LaReina suggested a hitching post.

De acuerdo, I do also hope there will be some carrots available, as Ilene gets a bit uhm.. gassy.. from eating too many chili-flavoured nacho's..

Suddenly AlbertoJunior connected the dots between the newly opened Chicago Business District joint and these plans.. He shouldn't have rode Ilene all the way across the street to say this to LaReina.. The way back would cost him half an hour again..
