Sofia’s new boss had sent her on a flight to Philly earlier that morning, and was to report back with anything looking viable for a few business deals. Signore Kappatsu instructed her to use whatever means necessary, and knew of her strong affiliations with the guys. Midmorning Sofia called Drago, and she was deep in conversation with him about the local diner in Philly, and her mind drifted briefly to the art museum. She was anxious to get that job done as well, but they needed to have more than one place to hit here in Philly then hightail it back home to lay low. She told Drago how the place looked profitable, but they might want to take the next flight out from New York because she noticed a couple scouting the place out as well. Sofia knew when someone was gaining insight on a place right before they hit it. She’d been sent off to scout enough places that her blue eyes missed nothing. She replaced the receiver then fell to the bed of the hotel. Sofia had found a hotel nearby, and which even had a good enough view of the Melrose Diner. Her thoughts ran back to her new family, especially how she met her boss. Ever the planner, Fabrizio had gained intel on the schedule runs of the local establishment when he frequented the City of Brotherly Love for business. He began contriving a plan to relieve the diner of the weekly delivery of goods. Foods of all kinds they could easily distribute, and make a small profit, minus what they kept for themselves to survive on. Later that evening there was a knock on her door. Sofia slid across the bed, swinging her long legs to the floor, she stood there a second to tug the bathrobe tighter then went to open the door. She giggled upon seeing her favorite guys almost tumbling over each other falling inside the room. All but Drago. He stood behind the group, shaking his head as he waited for them to scamper inside her room. She arched a delicate eyebrow in question. “Mio Dio. I hope you lot aren’t thinking you’re crashing here. Get your own room, eh.” “Come on Zeelee, you know you love us riiigghhhttt.” Sofia crossed her arms, attempting to look firm in response to Tino’s comment. Drago interrupted the staring contest by getting right down to business. He went over to the window interested to see the view she claimed was sufficient. Drago nodded, claimed the empty chair then cleared his throat to settle the guys down. Tino took the other chair, and all but Tacito pounced on the queen sized bed, dwarfing it with their tall frames sprawled out over it. Drago checked a few facts with Fabrizio on the times, and what shipment goods were due this time. Satisfied things seemed to be in order, he told Remo to take Tino with him and fetch dinner. They had a few hours before the delivery truck would arrive, so might as well fuel up on food. Little while after they polished off most of the burgers, Sofia tucked her legs up underneath her as she curled up against the headboard. Fabrizio was going over the plan once more giving everyone their assigned positions and roles. Finally after much convincing, more like begging on her part, Fabrizio gave Sofia a bit more to do than just scout out the establishment. Once the delivery truck arrived, she would be the one keeping the driver occupied with a gun to his head while the guys unloaded the truck. Tacito would be the lookout at the end of the alleyway. Time was ticking away til they pulled off another heist in Philly. Nothing would ever be as grand as the museum escapade plan, and Sofia was looking forward to pulling that one off and impress her new family, especially her boss. |

Kappatsu had gone to bed early that night but sleep had no come easily. He had sent his new protogé to Philly in search of a big score and he was starting to worry about her. Philly had become a bit of a war zone recently and his own brother had been killed there. Truthfully the whole place gave him the shakes. He decided to go to his office and work on the books, the crew had been doing good and money was being sent to him on time and to Genco just the same. Bang! Kappatsu threw the pen at the wall in frustration and stood up. He picked up the phone and called the hotel Sofia was staying at, he knew it was a bad idea but he had to make sure she was alright, he didn't trust that city and he didn't trust the band of fools she called friends. "Hello you have reached the reception of the Sea View Hotel, how can I help?" the voice was nasal as if the woman on the other end of the phone had the flu. "Can you please put me through to room 302" Sofia had told him the room she was staying in just in case something bad was to happen. The phone ticked and Sofia was on the other end, "Hey, it's me, hows the job going?" He forced himself not to sound worried or stressed as it would give too much away. |

"Out! Out! I need a few to rest. Come on, off y'al go!" Sofia closed the door after everyone then turned to usher Valentino out the door. "Tino, that means you too ya know." He kept lingering around for God knows what reason, but she was exhausted after the long day she'd had, and needed a quick nap before everything went down later that night. She left the curtains open, stretched out atop the comfortable bed, but didn't bother with the covers. Sofia laid her head on the pillow finally then closed her tired blue eyes resisting any and all urges to gaze out at the night sky as a few stars began to appear. Ringgg rinngggg. She reached over to grab the phone from the night stand with a grumble as she spoke into the receiver. "I swear Tino if you...." Sofia stopped speaking mid sentence when her caller's voice. She cursed to herself. "Perdonami Signore. I thought it was someone else. The job is going very well. I spent the time required scouting out the routines and delivery times, and everything is set. We secured the truck without any issues." Sofia couldn't track down the third name on the list Kappatsu gave her, but hopefully having two people he was affiliated with would ease his mind regarding the job. She felt somewhat his distrust in Drago and company, but hell he didn't really know her that well either. Sofia had to work her tail off to prove she was trustworthy. Her new famiglia weren't the sort of people to take trust and loyalty with a grain of salt. "I made a few inquiries since I've been here in Philly about the names you gave me to look up, and so far only two of them were reachable. I think the guys and I should be able to handle it all, but the other two men are due to arrive in three hours, which gives us roughly an hour before the delivery." |

Gavin Guile had been in Philly for a few days now, it was a nice little vacation from running the circus. Davina was more than capable of watching over everything for a little bit. The vacation wasn’t the only reason for his coming to Philly, he had heard rumblings of a big job going down. How true they rumblings were he would soon find out. Normally he would send someone else to check out the information but there were advantages coming himself. The first being the slight holiday he was having, the second was that the one the rumblings being about SofiaZitaBellini . she had been doing many jobs and he was interested to see her at work, getting second hand accounts where nowhere near as interesting as seeing things first hand. Finding the hotel, the Sea View he believed it was, going up to the third floor he grinned he didn’t even need to look at the door numbers to know which room was right. Looking at one of the few guards he brought with him Kip he gave very clear instructions, get their wallets taunt and get them to follow you. Kip took off running bouncing off the men in turn like he had 1000 times. Stopping at the end of the hall he called back to them holding their money and wallets, he turned the corner as the three men followed. It was too easy, going over to the door a few seconds later he picked the lock and slipped into the room leaving the rest of his men outside. Gavin takes a quick look around making sure there are no other men in the room before stopping to look at Sofia laying on the bed, not wanting to disturb her he walks across the room and sits in a chair waiting for her to notice his presents or wake up. After a few minutes he got bored, closing his eyes he begins to twirl one of his throwing knives in his hand. |
