Stormy waits for Tommy to come back and phones the bunker "M Things have all gone pear shaped. I need you back here as it is too late to stop the photo's and letter being delivered. Looks like like Tommy got ambushed and the hostages are missing."

M listens to the radio broadcast, hearing everything.

"A van has been cornered and believed to be containing the wife and son of governer Jake Jefferson. Police are currently surrounding the van and closing in"

M jumps to a wire-tap and normal phone at the same time, calling Stormy and listening in on calls from the station.

"Stormy, you there? Listen, the police are about ot get to the van. THey know that the goverrner's family is in there. If they don't get out, the van could blow with them in it! I have a car parked in an alley half a block down. Unlocked with keys inside. You could have them escape to the bunker with that. Hopeflly the G-men'll have lost you by then"

"I don't follow. The cops think the hostages are still there. That gives us a chance. I have a plan. Meet me at Nonna's Deli on Wolf Drive. They do't know you're involved, do they?"

"OK. I am on my way. we will pick haz Up on the way"

don, in his drunken state desides to back track along the route still carrying the bottle of whiskey. He eventually sees the van tipped over and surrounded by cops, worried for his wife and tommys safety he desides to valiently charge the police guns blazing. It actually happened something along the lines of a couple of shots being fired and then drunkenly retreating into an alley way. All the while with don hopeing hed bought them all time to escape.

M drives up to Nonna's and jumps from the door of his car. He sees two federal marshals walking by, looking for Tommy or the hostages. He then goes to take a seat at one of the booths. A waitress walks up and asks him: "Would you like anything?"

"No, I'm fine. I'm waiting for someone right now"

Stormy arrives in a rush.

" Hi M got here as quick as I could. Found Haz along the way he is waiting in his car. Lets speak outside"

M watches the federal marshals walk into the deli.

"I must decline. We'll look suspicious. We didn't even order anything. Besides, cops are all over the place outside. We'll be caught in a flash. Order a quick thing"

Stormy calls over a waitress.

"Can we have 2 coffees and 2 burgers please"

He and M then start to converse in whispers

"Listen, alright. I think I know where the hostages are. All you need to do is to stay calm and to follow my lead. This is a bit crazy, but I think the family is still in the van. The van was specially fitted with a bootleg compartment. Enough room to hide two bodies....or, if you wanted to, a few living hostages. We need to recover the van and get the hostages into my vehicle's trunk. Ther'l be enough air for them to survive in the trunk for an hour or so. Are you up for for it, boss?"

The waitress arrives with the coffee and M takes a sip. It tasted bitter.

"Thanks, ma'am"

haz is sitting in the car outside trying to look relaxed which is hard when there's what seems like a few million police outside the car.

He hopes M and stormy hurry up so haz doesnt have to worrry about being caught!

God i am not getting paid enough to sit around in a car hoping police dont reconise me.

" OK M Go for it. I will leave that up to you. I will go and speak to Haz while you get organised. He can create a diversion to pull the cops away from the van and I will cover you"

Leaves some money on the table for the waitress,Stands up and walks outside to where Haz is sitting nervously in his car. Seeing the car door open he gets in and outlines what M_Stracci is going to do and briefs Invisible_Kid on his diversion.

Don wakes beside an hobo, who appeared to of drunk all of his whiskey. the don stands and checks his gun, still fully loaded... must of all just been a dream he thinks. he then stumbles beside a car, and about to curse at the driver and passenger realizes it his good old partner and his friend mstracci. opens the back seat and gets in, just as the pair finish talking.

Ambushed and a bit bruised, Tommy was still hiding in the van, as he couldn't move without police not noticing him. He also kept the family quiet, and drank a bit of whiskey.

C'mon, guys, where are you?, he said to himself, waiting for his friends to somehow pull him out from the police.

After hearing M's plan stormy sneakks up to the overturned van under cover of some bushes. He is able to acess the hidden compartment from the outside and just hopes that Haz will keep to the timetable and draw off the cops.

in an oppostie direction to the overturned van there is an enourmous bang!

all the poilice's attention is now on haz

Stormy opens the hidden compartment and drags out the 2 hostages. He drags them off down the road,Thanking Mrs Wheeler for the foresight in gagging them.
He gets them into the car that M_Stracci has waiting and they speed off to the bunker. After 10 minutes of hard driving over some unmade roads they arrive at their destination, hoping that Haz got away Stormy tries phoning the HQ to see if there are any developments

M walks into the bunker and flips on the ware-tap and tries to connect to the station, fiddling with the connections. He finally gets a connection.

"Should I tell them we've got em?"

haz takes a cell phone of a random stranger and dials M

M im pretty much tied down is there anything u can do??

After Haz drew away police and Stormy took hostages, Tommy sped away in his van. He saw that all police concentrated on Haz, so no-one was following him as he drove to the bunker where Stormy took the hostages.
