I would like to take the time to make a simple announcement. Something new is comming to town called "Gio's Lotto".

It's pupose is to provide a fair chance for a lucky man or woman to prosper.

However before the grand opening tomorrow I would like to see what you all think of the idea of a lotto.

Also don't be afraid to say exactly how you feel my skin is as tough as a baby's.

So go ahead have fun and see if you can break it.

It has been done before, but if the entry price is good and people want to play, go for it.

I have not been around for the other versions of the lotto that have been mentioned, but I do think that it could work if like kip said the price is reasonable and you can get enough people to play it. I for one would probably join in on occasion when I had the money to spare. I think that you should go ahead with this and at least give it a shot, you could be the one to make a working version.

Let's not be so blunt and prudent,there have been many lotto's so i would not  exactlt say it's <strong>"something new to the streets"</strong>,infact its a rather aged idea now.

Sometimes these are very sucssesful,other's not so, Gio i would advise that you think of all the consiquences  before you fully go ahead with your idea. People will buy into the idea if the price is right. I would also advise that when making your speech about concerning your lotto,you make a rather better and more exact speech than the one you stand before us making.

i.e. how the draw will be done,how the prize money will be calculated,how the draw will be done fairly?

It can be a long road when doing a lotto and if its not done right you can end up looking silly.Im not informing you of this to put you down or to be-little you,but infact to educate you on the slippery road that comes with organising a lotto.Personally i would not be interested purely based on the speech you have just given,for me its far to risky. i have seen people killed over such things.

You Cant blame a guy for trying, he is trying to bring bit more fun to the streets with people who would be interested in joining this Lotto. It might not be something new but I think this could work out for you Giorgio Good Luck.

I agree with all said, except for the charmingly eloquent HuggleBear, Giogio. It has been done, some have been successful and some not. AI really couldn't add to any more of the replies other then my encouragement to go for it if you feel you have all the details necessary. I'm not a gambler at casinos, but I usually check out the lottos
