Alex sat in his office going over the numbers from the previous week. His mind, however, was wondering to a conversation he had with @Gracie earlier that day. They had been driving through the district and spotted an old warehouse for sale that, based on the reminisce of a broken gate and scorch marks along the walls, seemed like it may have once been used as a safehouse much like their own. Gracie had commented that it might be nice to renovate the place and increase the footprint of RP, Inc. and since Alex had been unable to get the thought out of his mind.

Standing from his desk Alex began to pace and made his way to his bar. Pouring himself a vodka he resumed pacing as he tried to think of who would be the best fit for a new crew occupying the warehouse on the other side of the district. Flipping on the radio to try and calm his mind he began scanning through the stations when he heard something that made him stop and scroll back on the wheel. The latest Lone Ranger episode was playing and Alex nearly smacked his forehead as the obvious solution hit him.

Picking up the phone he dialed his left hand and said, “Ranger, get to my office, we have plans to make.”

Alex stepped out onto the boardwalk and up to the podium that was waiting for him there. Alex took a calming breath and stepped up to the microphone.

“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us. When I took over RP, Inc. my goal was to not only continue the great legacy left by Don Kathryn, but to grow Los Angeles into a great city. Today, we take the first step in expanding our already amazing crew into an amazing district and, eventually, an amazing city.”

“When the time came to decide, who would lead Los Angeles’ newest crew here in Downtown the choice was clear. Ranger has proven to me that he is level headed, loyal, and dedicated to the vision of our great city and I know that he will do amazing things. With that in mind I am proud to announce that Ranger and his Wild Bunch will be setting up under me in Downtown, LA.”

Gracie stood off to the side on the boardwalk. Why Alex had to hold this thing so close to the hot dog stand, she'd never know. But her stomach grumbled in protest and she tried so very hard not to just wander over there to get something to eat. Fidgeting where she stood she listened to Alex and then nodded her head. He covered all the things she would have said, although she'd have said them after getting a hotdog. She clapped when everything was announced and then moved over to where Ranger was and gave him a hug, "It's Morphin time," she whispered before laughing, "Congratulations. I have every bit of faith in you that I had in Comrade Ink." she told him, "You'll do great." with that she stepped back and let the man have the limelight. Once no one was paying attention to her she snuck off to get a hotdog and a lemonade. 

Ranger embraced and thanked Gracie as she wished him well and congratulated him. "Thanks, G Doc. You ain't gonna get rid of me that easy though, I will be keepin' in touch." He said with a wink as he headed over to @Alexander_Solonik. He reached out to shake his hand and thank him for this opportunity that he has now been entrusted with. 

"Thanks Comrade, I won't letcha down." Ranger says to him quietly before turning around to face the crowd and step up to the microphone.

"So uh, I have never been one for speeches so bare with me on this one.  First of all, I have to give a huge thanks to Kathryn - who unfortunately is not with us anymore may she rest in peace. She took me in and gave me refuge within the Inc. Since then, I have met some great people and made amazing bonds that will never be broken. 

Alex and Gracie have slapped me up into shape and I have been granted this great opportunity to expand our vision across the city of Los Angeles. I can't thank you both enough for your help and support, and your faith in me. With that, The Wild Bunch is born. Thank you all." Ranger said as he threw up a wave and turned around and walked off the stage with the others.
