McCall sat in the diner, his back against the wall covering both the front and back entrances. To most normal people, he was just a man in his late 40's reading the New York times, to all the criminals in this particular Italian-American Diner he was obviously law Enforcement. McCall didn't mind this for two main reasons. He was ex-law enforcement. He had been a member of 'The Agency' for over 20 years before retiring. The work that had once been his raison d'être had finally come to sicken him, the double dealing, treachery, assassination, politics and of course the hypocrisy. It had cost him everything almost, his marriage and his relationship with his wife, but thankfully not his life, although there were days when he wished it had. The second reason it didn't matter is that he knew that word would soon get out that he was sitting here, amongst 'them' and eventually someone would come to see what he wanted. |

Sitting just across McCall,a pair of eyes silently observes him.Boris first noticed McCall as he enters the diner. The way he walks, the choice of sit and the way he sits...everything spells G-man for Boris. He cant help but smile to himself...this man surely has some experience in the"Agency".He is about to brush this man out when he noticed something different.Getting more interested,Boris coughed softly just to take McCalls attention as he lifts a business card from his coat ant places it on top of his table. He paid his bill and slowly exits the diner...he said to himself..."If this McCall guy stll had the skills he should have notice when I left my business card on the table. If he is interested to my offer he will contact me and perhaps we can do some business. |

Angelique saw Boris leaving the diner and had her driver pull over to offer him a ride. On the way to his HQ, she asked him what he was grinning about. On being told about the man in the diner, she raised her eye brows and thought for a moment. Fin ally after lighting a cigarette, she nodded I think you did the right thing Boris, just make sure you do a quadruple check on him that he is ex G-man not a spy. If he is, his talents would be very beneficial to our city. Good work as always. Smiling back at Boris as he said goodbye, Angelique ordered her driver to take her to the Godfather. Frowning a bit, she hoped that he would agree to help Boris check this man out |

Don pulls up infront of the diner and exits his 3 litre crossley sports salloon. He then proceeds to walk confidently into the diner and takes a seat at a table. Upon seeing a man who he had never seen before and to him had the air of a cop, he lets his hand slide to rest on his gun before noticeing a broken look about the man and he begins to relax. The man was obviously an ex-cop.
"Waitress" he calls, raising his hand and the women hurried over
"I'd like to order a coffee please." |

Yes, Robert, that is why many of us come here. It is an outlet from the monotony of daily life. I enjoy daily life, but I find that I can find much more potent symbolism in the events of these words.
(OOC: Seaking?! lol Pokemon, ftw!) |

McCall raises his hand slightly as the waitress walks over to the newcomer, and when she looked his way he points at his cup, wanting another refill, his 8th of the day so far. Perhaps he wasn't as conspicuous as he had first thought. This Guy though was different. McCall continued to 'ignore' the man, choosing instead to 'study' the racing form in the Times sport's section. The guy, like 70% of those in the dinner was obviously packing, but that didn't worry McCall, the feel of the .380 Walther in his pocket reminded him he was packing too. He looked up at the waitress as she approached his table. |

Keeping his eye on the ex-cop he decides to walk over and take a seat next to him, Don had never been shy. Ever. Picking up the coffee he strolls over and slides on the other side of the table.
Heya friend, anything interesting happened? Or is it just the same old dribble they sell?
He then chuckles to himself before leaning over and asking what was really on his mind.
Whats a guy like you doing in this part of town? |

McCall smiled inwardly. Setting the paper down on the edge of the table, he removed his glasses and placed them into their case before sliding it into his jacket pocket. |

A confused look crosses dons face for a moment and then he begins to think he has made a mistake in walking over to this man. Normally by this point he would of pulled the trigger on his webley revolver and been out the door. But curiosity got the better of him. Calm returns to his face and he decides to play it cool.
And may i ask why i should have the honor of such a visit? Iv already donated to the fbn for this week, im not planning on agreeing to them upping the rate... |

McCall looks at the passer by offering comments. The face rings a bell, but at the moment he can't put a name to it. When he got back to his apartment he'd pull the files he had 'borrowed' before leaving and find out just who he was. |
