Disorder sat in the beach house the Las Vegas mobsters had been using for the last few days. A maid brought him a large cocktail in a fancy glass. Bright pink and complete, with camp parasol resting on the sugar crusted rim. Disorder smiled and took a long refreshing drink before speaking to the maid about the bill for all the cleaning. She was pleasantly surprised that he engaged her in Spanish and quoted him a very fair price for the abominable amount of work she and her team had undertaken. The great bald Godfather climbed out of his chair and sauntered over to the kitchen counter. Taking the lid off a cookie jar he pulled out a breath taking wad of bills from inside. The maid was professional enough to act surprised at the sight even though she would have obviously found it some hours ago. Disorder counted out her pay, then counted out two thousand dollars. One for her and one for her team. She was naturally delighted. As she made her way out the phone rang. Disorder picked it up. "Hello." 'Boss, its done.' "Good work. I'll make the announcement." 'You need us to do anything else?' "No man. You and the gang get back here. The girls did a wonderful job cleaning the place, just in time for us to wreck it again, and they've taught me how to make this amazing cocktail! Honestly, you guys will have to try these, they're something else." 'Ok then!' "Thanks again. Make sure our people are well taken care of, then get back for the food and the party." He hung up the phone and walked back to the sea front deck to sit in the chair and look out over the sea, while he finished the relaxing drink. When he was done he had a quick shower and put on a fine evening suit. The car was brought to the door and he enjoyed the scenery of the city as he was taken downtown to a cafe called The Pantry. A 24hr restaurant opened some years before by a humble hard working man. His goal was simple, to provide food and service around the clock and also, very importantly, to provide jobs for ex cons who struggled to get work while carrying the stigma of jail behind them. Disorder loved the idea and the humility of the place and it's owner and decided to make his announcement from the corner outside. Sending in a guard to order the beef tenderloin he watched at the crowd gathered around him. "Hello. Today is a sad day. Its sad because it is pointless. Needless. A waste of life. What started as a beautiful idea has been destroyed by the vanity of one ego. RP Inc was founded by a great woman. Someone who's lineage had been devoted to literature and creativity, for generation after generation. I spent significant time with her making plans for what RP Inc could do in Los Angeles. Shortly after her arrival here though, she was forced to retire and the reigns were handed to Alexander Solonik. I didn't know Alexander but was willing to take Kathryn's recommendation and so allowed him to take control of her crew when she left. Because I didn't know him, his role was restricted to the district of Downtown LA with the understanding we'd see how things progressed. I encouraged him to develop as he felt the crew should and continue with some of the work Kathryn and I had planned. Things plodded along slowly for a few weeks. Alex made an auth in Ranger and continued to make a lot of business district contributions and some stories in the streets. After a month I elected to make use of one of the other districts in LA to move Divina and Hades into Venice and add some more pulse and life to the city. Now I'll grant you, I could have gone about this with much more consideration than I did. I gave Alex almost no warning and just assumed he would be fine with it as he had done very little in terms of expanding in the month he'd been set up. This was inconsiderate of me, I appreciate that. I was however unprepared for the response I got from Alex about it. I won't get bogged down in a blow by blow account of his mails on the matter. Needless to say he appeared to lose all sight of who put him in his position, protected him and defended him. Instead electing to launch abuse at me and state that his crew were making a far more significant contribution to this thing of ours than anyone else in the entire country. Even after this I replied a couple of times saying I would forgive his brief departure from sanity and chalk it up to shock. Then later I was handed a transcript of a mail he sent to his family telling them to prepare for war against me and asking for pro shooters to come forward. At this point I had to draw the line. Enough is enough. I can take a joke but I won't see the lives of my family and friends threatened by an man with a profound sense of entitlement having a tantrum. I made the call and the matter was taken care of. RIP RP Inc." He paused and glanced over at the door of The Pantry. Tobias was standing there signalling that his food was ready. Disorder looked back at the crowd. "Now, if you'll excuse me. I have a wholesome meal with hard working people to enjoy before I return to the beach to enjoy an entirely unwholesome evening with criminal slackers." He smiled and nodded and walked across the street into the restaurant. |

Amongst the many sad things about these circumstances, this is probably the worst: "then later I was handed a transcript of a mail he sent to his family telling them to prepare for war against me and asking for pro shooters to come forward." Desperately sad times when a crew leader can't trust his family with this kind of information and one individual is prepared to watch his leader and the rest of his family die just to get "one up" with another Godfather. Rest in peace to the fallen. |

Ok, first and foremost I will say Disorder had every right to wipe out RP, Inc. I have long stood up and said that those in power have the right to do this because they have the power. So I am not going to challenge his right to do that. I will, however, challenge the bullshit that is coming out of his mouth. He is right that one ego did destroy this - but it was his. I will get into the blow by blow because I think it is important. Below I are all of the mails that went back and forth between Disorder and Alex - I have also included the mail that was sent out to the crew that he is talking about - the mail in which Alex clearly stated that he wanted to avoid war but thought his mail might cause his untimely death and he wanted RP, Inc prepare in case that happened - yes, the horror he actually took steps to protect his family from a man known to lead with his gun when someone dares to question him. At no time was there any indication of any attack against LV - come on, that would have been suicide. He also failed to mention the second mail that was sent out a short time later letting people know that he was speaking with Alex and that the threat was no more - so to go back about the business of doing what RP, Inc did best - having fun and writing. As you will see Alex also never claimed that RP, Inc. contributed more than anyone else in this thing - what he did say in response to your bullshit question about what RP Inc had done to earn your respect was point out the very large - and yes larger than any other crew - contribution that RP, Inc. made to the content on the streets and in teh business districts. Will anyone honestly deny that RP Inc did that? Alex did not step up because of ego. He stepped up because Disorder came in and chose to insert crews into LA with no word and then when called on it chose to respond by basically saying that RP, Inc was worthless - and given the hard work that I know so many put into it that was not something Alex was going to stand by and allow to be said. First, the mail regarding oru supposed threat to LV:
Next, the full conversation were Alex's ego supposedly got in the way:
As I said at the beginning, Disorder had every right to wipe our RP, Inc at any time he liked. But dont come out here and feed some bullshit narrative. You wanted to move crews from DT so you could keep padding your bank account and when we called bullshit and then called you out on how dismissive of RP, Inc and the people in it you were you threw a hissy fit. At least have the balls to come out and say it. On a final note, I would like to say thank you to all of the great people of RP, Inc. It was an amazing ride and one I am proud to have been on. Thank you for all of the wonderful times. |

I have to say, with all and absolute respect to Disorder and his decision, I have a degree of respect for Alex - he made a ballsy, if totally foolhardy decision. |

Jennie stood there staring at the nearly mile long scroll of paper that Alex had rolled out. She had heard of holding a grudge, and salt but this was something else entirely. She moved quickly, looping an arm through his and tugged a bit to get him off the streets. "Clearly, acting without thinking or speaking to the wiser people around you is something that runs in your blood." she muttered, "Come now, lets not prove Disorder 's point for him, alright?" she said. |

| Alex my father having spent much time in Detroit I would have to disagree. If he wanted to pad his pocket he would have left them in Detroit until it started to refill. By taking them out of Detroit and essentially breaking the rules of not interfering and that those who choose to be in Detroit as leaders stay in Detroit. Disorder allowed money to leave his pocket as he lost the rent for the two familys each week. | |

Romance stands on the beach listening to the waves crash along the shoreline.... the sound reminding him of the time spent making love on the sands. How many women had Romance made love to here on this beach over the years? Too many to count..... so many in fact that the beach appeared to be covered in dried seagull crap....... but it was not. Romance's memories are interrupted by AlexS who had just finished reading the mailed between his father and Godfather Disorder.... Contrarily, it would seem to me that my Godfather showed your father a great deal of respect. By your own account, Disorder apologized several times in the correspondence for what he admitted could have been a better line of communication regarding the decision. That alone is a sign of respect. Disorder is not a man known for handing out apologies, so if your father received one from him, I can assure you it was sincere. I can say this confidently for several reasons, partially based on knowing the man for as long as I have, and for the obvious reason that he doesn't need to apologize to anybody if he doesn't feel like it. Not recognizing this contributed to Alexander_Solonik's downfall. A decision had been made, albeit without him, by an authority higher than his. Accepting that probably stings a little, but it would have been a better alternative than seeing the swift end to what appeared to be a unique project that a portion of the crime community enjoyed. Alexander_Solonik had a great supporter in Godfather Disorder for what he was trying to accomplish in LA, and Disorder has always emphasized the importance and value in the type of activity RP Inc. was known for. But business is business and a decision had been made. In the end, what Alexander_Solonik took issue with was hardly worth dying for, and even moreso not worth taking the rest of his district down with him over. I for one am glad you decided to bring these mails to the streets AlexS. Perhaps others will learn from them. Maybe you will tool. Good luck and RIP to those that died today. |
