Good afternoon Ladies and Gents of the mafia world,

I come to you today with a suggestion. Now as I have always understood a Mobster is a man about his business...Business comes before anything, second to family of course but generally comes before anything. Now I was sitting back and thinking today about how you can only see your business if you are in that city, which is fine and has worked for x amount of years, but since we are all about our business and making money in this world why shouldnt you be allowed to view the progress of your bar/business from anywhere? Now obviously you cant Post or reply in the bar from another city but you should be at least able to view 'your' thread from another city as a lot of us are busy and cant fly to and from a city to post.

Now of course you wouldnt be able to look at the whole business district if you are not personally there nor would you be able to post in your thread if you are physically not there, but I would like to think a man who owns a business could watch his bar from anywhere. I have not thought this all the way out so any thoughts you guys would like to add would be appreciated.

The only pros I can think of at the moment for this are:

1) you will be able to keep better tabs on your business/s

2) it will give Anubis something to do we know he loves to play with code.

The cons:

1) As always I am sure it would be a pain in the bunz to code

2) Anubis may quit with a bigger workload.

From the realistic perspective, how could you know what is going on with your business, if your not physically there?

This could potentially be RP'd but in a response to Don_G you would be able to know what is going on within your business because you could phone the bar manager and get a run down of going ons.

There is a way to already kind of "keep tabs" on your business. After making one, simply watch it. Check on it often. You won't be able to see what the exact response was, but you'll be able to tell if anyone new has visited, thus allowing you to make time to fly there in your schedule to reply to them. (Or otherwise, if you don't like the poster I suppose...)

The watch does not always work. I can't count how many times I've attempted to 'watch' a thread and get replies with nothing appearing in my DL...

So I can see that you are the last one to post in tis thread, so if I want to I can fly home and respond, however, if I don't like you, I don't have to.

I don't know what you've written, but then in RL I wouldn't know what you were doing in my shop either if I was out of state.
