My room mate and myself have enrolled in a hitchhike competition! In 5 consecutive days we will hike from Amsterdam to Barcelona! 🇪🇸💃🇪🇸💃🇪🇸

The goal is to reach Barcelona the quickest of all the teams. In total there are 300 teams participating in this competition. The 300 teams are competing in 3 separate competitions, a Dutch one (ours!!) a Belgium one and a French one.

Our competition starts in Amsterdam on the 3rd of July. Every day we hitchhike 👍 👍 👍 until a certain point where all the teams get together. These locations are really stunning places, like castle grounds 🏰, river banks, beaches 🏖....For the night we set up camp 🏕 and then continue the next day.

This continues for 5 days until we reach Barcelona on the 7th of July. The 3 Dutch teams that reach Barcelona the quickest will compete against the finalists of the Belgium and French competition in a final hitchhike stage on the 9th of July. The winner of that stage is the ultimate winner and wins a world trip flight ticket!! 🏆

So now you know two of the reasons why we're doing this.... Adventure and a world trip ticket... because if you guys knows us even a little.. you know we can get pretty competitive pretty quick!

Another reason we're doing this is the charity behind the competition... the ITF - 🌳 International Tree Foundation 🌳. ALL the profit that is gained from this competition is donated to the ITF to plant more trees . And we need trees guys... so that is THREE good reasons we're in this competition.

Now we can really use your help with our competition in several ways.

2⃣ Money 💰💰💰 - As this competition is set up to raise money for the charity our goal is to raise roughly 1000,- (between Charlotte and me). We're hoping to collect several smaller donations from friends and family and maybe find a few companies that are willing to donate a bit more.

Any amount obviously will do... but for €25,- you get your name / logo on our hitchhike 👚 t-shirts!!

And especially for companies we offer blog posts and PR material that can be used to show you're an eco-minded entrepreneur that supports important charities like the ITF. We can offer the PR material in the language of your choice (Dutch, German or English) and if you've a product we can use during our hitchhike trip we will for sure put it in the spotlights‼
Also, our main sponsor (the one that just gives the most pretty much) wins a weekend trip to Barcelona IF we manage to win this competition.

Items and input - We don't really need much for travelling but we do need to bring a light weight tent (less than 2kg pref) / summer sleeping bag (maybe a company that makes these? do you know a sponsorcontact?). A good backpack would be nice.... Ideas, suggestions, anything is welcome.
