We have seen an unfortunate set of events on the Streets lately.  TabithaGato, an eloquent speaker, has found it increasingly hard to have her voice heard.  The people in the Streets, quite naturally, still wonder about the alleged sex scandals that her father, the late ChristianGato, were supposedly blighted by.

TabithaGato got very frustrated with a few people, but it seemed that the chorus of people wanted to once and for all put the sex scandals behind them and move was increasingly in volume and tempo.

This chorus was interrupted by the angry voice of Tabitha and it seemed that she is quitting the Streets.

I for one emphatically do not want this to happen.  I want the allegations to remain where they belong.  In the past.  The facts are that nobody really knows exactly what happened.  It most likely isn't what's generally thought and we should try and put it all behind us.

So, I guess what I am asking you all is this.  Can we decide that it's best to leave the allegations of sex scandals involving the Gato's in the past?

Belle was walking the streets again today when she heard a man going on and on about some scandals involving a man named ChristianGato. Now, Belle had no idea who that man was but she knew one Gato, a woman she had met in Las Vegas. And Belle was quite annoyed to see that his man was once again harassing her friend. She decided she had to say something.

“Excuse me sir. If you really wanted to move on from it, you would do so. Instead, I’ve seen you out here harassing that poor woman and chasing her away from the streets. You sir, are a bully. Go away. Leave Tabitha alone. Leave this nonsense alone. Whatever happened in the past is the past and it should stay there. If you really felt that way then you wouldn't be out here once again, spewing nonsense from your mouth. Have a little respect.”

Glancing at Kuku once more, Belle frowned, shook her head, and walked away.

Whatever happened in the past is the past and it should stay there.

Romance hears _Belle_'s soft voice from afar..... it is like the voice of an angel......... he approaches, at first intimidated... intimidated by her fierce beauty.... he questions whether he should speak to her at all, for fear she may not take kindly to a stranger approaching her.... but he then notices the "iMug" pin on her dress, a tag coined by the beloved aspiring crewleader Cassiopeia and assumes that if this woman is borrowing a tag from such an inspiring woman, she must be something special......... Romance kneels down before _Belle_ and presents her with a rare pink orchid.... a true testament to his devotion to her.....

"Dearest _Belle_, please pay no mind to this Kuku- miscreant.  He feels a certain sense of entitlement because his ancestor was once nominated Street Orator of the Year.

You couldn't be more correct, my love....... the past is the past and all of this should remain in the past........ let's put these scandals to rest.  Are they even worth talking about anymore?  Probably not.  We haven't seen one single shred of evidence of truth that any of this is true at all....... yet now we are dedicating a valuable corner of our streets debating this???  Why?  Wouldn't this corner be better served being occupied by something more intriguing?  Instead, what we have is a flood of nosey gossip-hounds mailing Kuku- inquiring what this is all about.  It's disgraceful.  This is my plea to you (and I realize I'm in no position to tell anyone what to do) ..... please stop.

Street Orator of the Year.

Any such title bestowed on this mans ancestor would have been a joke, such as his lineage.

Nothing of importance has ever been brought from this lineage, nor is it likely to ever be. Not from lack of ability sadly, simply lack of effort. Each member of his lineage seems to prefer to play class clown rather than work hard to become something in this life. 

Tammy arrives at the gathering carrying a small breifcase, the lettering embroided across the side reads simple 'Gato'.

Opening it up, she removes a letter and holds it in sight of the crowd.

Where do I begin, ladies and gentlemen? I am a vile man, I confess it. My crimes and sins are beyond counting. I have lied and cheated, gambled and whored. I'm not particularly good at violence, but I'm good at convincing others to do violence for me.

You want specifics, I suppose. When I was 19, I saw a servant girl bathing in the river. I stole her robe and she was forced to return to the HQ naked and in tears. I close my eyes, but I can still see her tits bouncing...

When I was 21, I stuffed my uncle's boots with goat shit. When confronted with my crime, I blamed a goomba. Poor boy was shot, and I escaped justice. She tosses the letter to the side and with an exhausted sigh, addresses the group.

"An' so​​ it goes on. So you see my dear class clown, it seems you may have been correct. My father, or grandfather, whoever you believe you are referrin' to, could possibly have had some skeletons in his closet.

"Personally, I'm not convinced, however I know that you've spread dis' shit so thick that the question will always be there. I'm ok with that though. I've accepted that you've made a targetted and relentless issue of this simply because it gets ya off.

"As a result, I'd like to congratulate you on earning my complete and utter ignorance as to your existence. I will no longer approach, engage or consider your opinions or attempts to address me, so long as I shall live. This generous prize is also extended to my children, and their children and so on, comin' into effect within the next... 30 to 40 seconds.

"Consider it the lastin' impact on my family which you have yearned for for so very long."

She smiles, gathering the papers once more and placing them in a nearby garbage can.

"And to think, your ancestors once approached my father. You approached him seeking to learn from him, work with him and have a shot at workin' his way, and he accepted you. Sadly, that relative of yours killed himself. I imagine he was not up ta' the effort required or was intimidated by the standards he operated by. Alas."

"Well, it has been emotional kid, take care."

Thomas stood there for a moment staring open mouthed at Tammy. "My mum ate stew that your dad..." he trailed off before having to remove himself to find a rubbish bin to toss his cookies into.
