| Less Petty more Felony? | Started by: -Prophet- on Jun 21, '10 07:43 |

My suggestion here is that the payouts for your felonies are higher and your petty crime payouts are less. The reasoning for this is from an RP perspective the fact that your petties earn more money than your felonies makes no sense, as petties are lesser crimes compared to the felonies. Also from a game perspective it makes no sense as you have to wait longer for your felonies then your petties and your petties give you a higher payout. Right now felonies are only good for achievements and nothing else.
Pros:
1)Taking money out of the game, you receive less money for petties which you do every 3 minutes
2)RP felonies back then would of been worth waaay more then petties back then, e.g. if you knock over a post office you get what evers in the register and maybe a few letters, where as you do a rob a bank you get all/most of the money in the bank. And yet the post office gives you more.
Cons:
1)Younger/newer players will take longer to gain money from petties, (but they had C.O.D.F.I.S.H. now anyway :P)
I'm really tired at the moment so I couldn't think of anymore so if any of you want to fill in the gaps feel free, feed back is much appreciated.

This is a very good Idea. No idea why no one has commented but I agree with you Prophet. This is something I always wanted to suggest but I never got around to it. I never understood why petties were more profitable. It would be a good Idea if this idea were implemented.... |

I always wondered myself why Felonies earned less than Petties... the only thing I can think of is it comes down to something I said before. Petties you do on your own, felonies you do with a group, so you are getting a cut. I know the game doesn't portray this, but how many men rob a bank on their own? You need a safe cracker, a few shooters, get away driver etc |

True But their should be a higher pay out for robbing a bank. I mean...600 dollars to rob a bank? Whats the point of committing a felony for only 600 dollars? Even if you working with other people. |

Yes JudgeDeath but the economy of the game at the momeny isn't 1930s 1000 from a petty is even less realistic then 1000 from a felony?
If this change were to be implemented before the economy change it would mean petties would go from $0-100. And petties $10-1000.
So before the economy change set the felonies to 10k max, 1k min. |

Felonies earn more than petties already. Compare them like for like. the 'top tier' felony will earn you more than the 'top tier' petty. |

Truck heist earns a top of $900 ish. Petties even in low cities go from $600-1200. Honestly does that make sense to you?
And if you add the amount of times you can do petties: You get 3 petties for every felony.
So you end up with Waaaaaaaaaay more money from petties then felonies. |

In addition, I'd suggest a 4th felony added, whether it was accessible at consig, or whether they were rearranged so you earnt truck heist at Capo and the 4th at Boss. |
