The car rumbles on, hitting a pothole causing Reckless to hit his head on the roof.

“Ow fuck, Lordian would you mind slowing down a bit? I’m trying to talk back here.” Reckless says with a hint of sarcasm.

Taking a look around at the 2 young faces of Mari-Mac and Blake Freeman, the seriousness of this job reflects in their faces as he recites the plan. The high risk job began to eat at Reckless’ nerves. He began rolling up a blunt while sipping the bottle he snagged before they rushed out of the bar. He explains the details while lighting it up. As he gets to the part about being inside, Lordian suddenly turns around and looks at Reckless like he’s gone off his rocker. Reckless wraps up the pre-job talk and then addresses Lordian’s reaction.

“Now look, I know this sounds crazy, and I know that there are a lot of reasons on how this could go wrong. But just stick to the plan, we can do this. Lordian, your more experienced then these two, I want you to come in as back-up in case something goes wrong. We need someone we can count on if shit hits the fan.”

He smiled as he took another swig and passed the bottle to his young associate Blake. Who began to chug the bottle. Eyeing Reckless’ blunt with

“Hey, you should hand that over here.” Blake announces.

Reckless looks at him and thinks to himself, I’ve never seen him smoke before… but what the hell. He hands the blunt over to Blake as the car continues to drive through the streets of New York.

“Now be careful with that”, Reckless replies

He then begins to give Lordian directions, but not realizing just how drunk the Consigliere was, Lordian follows his directions, taking the most roundabout way that he possibly could. Leading to the two Mafiosi in the backseat to drink more and more as they try to stifle their nerves.

Gwarble had been enjoying his stroll through the streets of New York. It was a rather unusual stroll on an unusual day when the most strange thing happened. A car sped past Gwarble, seemingly containing several people. This in itself wasn't odd, but it was the glimpse of the driver that had caught Gwarble by surprise. He could have sworn that it was Lordian driving that car, a man who's obituary he had read just a day before!

"Na...couldn't be." Gwarble muttered to himself as he frowned. Maybe he was losing it.

Upon receiving instructions, Blake stares blankly at his superior in command. “Dude, I,” he mumbles. He couldn’t believe what role he is supposed to play for the sake of this job to succeed. He shakes his head. “Dude it's,” he adds. No words can describe the lack of security he feels. At his point, confidence can only be reached with more hum and more joint. “Dude…” He swags his idea, along with the last glimpse of sanity, with a trusty bottle of booze.

SQUEEEEEEBAM!

Everything goes dark for a second for the quartet. “What the fuck happened?” Blake sits up. His arm is dipped red. His neck is stiff, but he manages to look around. Blood drips in his eyes, his visibility is zilch. He turns to look at his partners to his side.

“Shit! Mari!”

“It’s not about me you should worry,” replies Mari. She rapidly wipes Blake’s forehead and points towards Lordian. The driver, confused with the directions given by the drunken leader, tried to turn for a fifth time on the wrong side of a one-way, and rammed face-to-face with a garbage truck. His brain leaked on the dashboard. His throat, cut with the shattered windshield. He is gone.

Ture runs aroun the corner toward the sound. 'Everybody love's a crash.' He thinks to himself as he turns the corner and finds a shadow to hide in.  He quietly watches as three people slowly exit the vehicle and stumble around.

"Aw shit!" He says out loud upon noticing what people were leaving the vehicle. He rushes over, and takes off his jacket tossing it to Reckless. "Here, you use this," he removes his shirt and hands it to Mari-Mac. "and you take this, looks like you both need it." His ears perk up for a second as he hears sirens going off in the distance. He drops to his knee in front of the car and rips off the license plate, and does the same for the back one. He tosses them toward Reckless' feet before making his way to the driver's seat.

"If we can get this last guy out, we can keep anyone from knowing who..." His face goes white as he opens the driver's side door and he falls backward sobbing.

Mari looks at the back of the garbage truck, she sees a can of gasoline and an old rag. She knows Lordian is gone and the evidence of who was in the car must be removed. She pours what is left in the can of gasoline onto the rag and quickly stuffs it in the opening to the tank of the car she had just exited. She grabs Reckless' smoke still in his mouth and lights the rag. Mari grabs the three men with her, the old license plates and makes a run for it.

They pass a car sitting abandoned and idling along the street. She waves Blake, Ture and Reckless over and she herself jumps in the drivers seat. No more will another man be the driver on this job, women pay a lot  more attention. She quickly drives them to a hideout, where they all clean up and change into clean clothes. The old clothes with Lordian's blood on them are put in a pile and burned. Mari can finally stop and take notice on the situation.

We lost Lordian, we haven't even begun the job and we lost him. Do we think this is worthwhile to continue? Maybe it's a bad omen. A sad look crosses the young woman's face as she waits for the men to decide their next move.

Ture takes a seat near a window and watches the flickering silhouette of the buildings as the fire blazes somewhere behind them. Tears roll from his eyes but no sobs escape, he just sits there, staring into the void that is the night sky of New York City, praying to himself silently 'Please don't let it be true. Let it be a dream.'

He sighs and just stares...

Broken hearted, he thinks about what has happened. He remembers that his brother in arms had just gone down due to an accident. Remembering his good friend fondly, Reckless snaps out of it and looks at the young crew of Mafiosi he has in front of him. Looking up at them he talks to the crew and has a round robin discussion about what the plan of action should be. Finally deciding, the crew heads back to the car. On the way everyone voices they’re condolences to Ture. Reckless saying as he puts an arm on his shoulder for comfort,

“I’m so sorry that you had to find your Father like that. That’s not how it should have been.”

Mari got in the driver’s seat, saying something about men’s driving. As Reckless approaches the car he suddenly turns around before getting inside and runs to grab more booze.

“I’m gonna need this if we’re going through with this shit.”

Mari begins driving, Ture sitting shotgun, and Reckless and Blake took their spots in the back, drinking again. Easing the pain and quieting nerves that are eating them alive with every swig. With Ture giving directions to the Casino this time, and Mari’s careful driving, they arrive at the casino and Reckless begins to prep himself for the job. As he gets out of the car he runs through his mental checklist, a pre-job ritual.

Gun, balls, Blake, and booze, we’re good.

Reckless takes another swig of booze and hands it to Blake to finish. As the crew begin to get out, Reckless goes through the plan.

Ture and Mari, sneak through the back and do what you gotta do. Blake and I will work the distraction and take out any mother fucker who tries to stop us.

Reckless turns to Blake

We can’t fuck this up, if something goes wrong we will be goners.

The gang of Mafiosi begin to walk towards the Casino. Ready to pull off the heist.

- Uh, Reckless...

- Yea?

- Can you warn me about 10 minutes before arrival, so I can like... sober up...

- What are you talking about? We've just arrived, that's the casino...

- Oh, that's the casino!

- What's wrong with you!? Don't you remember it from the photographs?

- I didn't think it was that big. It looked so small on the photos!

- So, what now? You're too drunk to get this done? Mari and Ture is circling around back, you need to sober up fast!

Blake hides nonchalantly behind a bush. Reckless waits. Too drunk to appreciate the view, Blake begins by emptying his body from various fluids. His partner's patience is tested to its limit. No sound is audible from behind the bush.. "Blake?" Reckless whispers. Hearing no response, he looks rapidly around to see if Blake didn't come out somewhere else. He walks behind the foliage and discovers a dirtpile, and a span of unknown liquid. The dirtpile is Blake Freeman, resting. Reckless punches his ex-associate awake. "It's not the time to give up on me!"

- Woaw... I'm sorry lady... I passed out during... wanna cuddle?

Blake is still not vivid. The bluried image of his comrade's fury seems to have no effect on him. Unsatisfied with his rage, Reckless releave his stress. He wants Blake being punched in the stomach so hard his liver feels like battery acid.

- Oh shit, Reck! Do we got the money yet?

- Good to have you back.
