DOMq, I must say I don't remember anyone ever speaking about the locations a person is at in 2 r/ps posted roughly the same time. But I would say you are correct, perhaps in one of them we should include something about catching a plane or just having gotten off a plane from X city, in some way aknowledge the previous r/p.

Your point about the replies is absolutely dead on and something that has been brought up many many times. Perhaps the CLs need to put something about it in their HQs to bring people's attention to it. A r/p is a real happening. You don't stand watching a murder, a bank robbery or whatever the scenario is and clap while saying good job, good story or I'd be glad to help you with editing. If you wish to do such a thing - mail the guy, don't post it in the streets!

I hav to agree. To many times have i seen replies in the streets ooc. I may not be the best r/p writter, but i make an effort at least to write n character. It is not dificult to do, some people perhaps are just lazy or can't be bothered to post in character. I don't know what can be done about it though.

As far as responding to street posts from any city, I feel like the time in these events is relative.  Obviously, sometimes the response of others takes days--in RL it would be immediate.  If locations aren't completely neutral, they're relative, and I'd say it's excusable.

As far as replies, it depends on the tense used, Angelique and Dom.

I would say that at least half street threads involving action are stories told in the past tense. ("It was a hot day when we all met at the docks..." etc.) In this case, the RP is merely a person standing on the street corner relating their past experiences, and a few claps or an offer for help with storytelling is appropriate.

Anything present tense (:John takes a seat next to Angelique and smiles at her:) needs to be responded to as such.
