Having given up completely on finding a decent meal, Terra finds herself strolling through the Detroit streets, hands in her pockets, head down, and in deep thought about no one thing in particular. Not paying attention to her surroundings, she nearly runs smack dab into a gentleman trying to convince a bouncer to let him inside a nicely hidden casino. He wasntt having any luck, though. Why? Because he wasn't properly connected.

Flashing her suit tag at the doorman, he immediately lets her in...much to the ire of the poor schmuck who wasn't getting anywhere. Heaven forbid, a woman receiving preferential treatment!

Once inside, Terra finds a blackjack table and takes a seat.

Noodle stumbled into the Casino, the longing for food and distant smell of it always landed him in the wierdist human joints. A tea place, another tea place... and now a casino. What was he to do in a casino? He was just about to leave when he spotted a familiar face, he'd seen this woman before. Maybe he could coax a bit of meat from her, preferably uncooked, but anything would do at this point. He hadn't eaten all day. Noodle weaves his way through the crowd, brushing up against legs as he went wishing his tail back and forth. Finally making it to the black jack table he looks up at TerraGato and meows at her.

Feeling something brush against her leg, Terra looks down and sees Noodle looking up at her. 

"What...wait. You can't be the same little cat?!?" she says, perplexed. Leaning down closer,  she sees that it is indeed Noodle. 

"For Heaven's sake, how do you manage all your travels?" she asks, not expecting any answers. Before someone spots him and scruffs him into the street, she picks him up and tucks him into her coat.

"I don't think there's food here for you, little man. But I  know where you can get some," she says, carrying him out the door and down tthe block to Candlehearth Inn.

Noodle is getting used to being picked up by people now. Keiko showed him humans are not all dangerous, he was more trusting now days so he let her scoop him up without complaint. When she put him in her coat though, that was new. He wasn't used to being tucked away on the inside of humans clothes. Still, he decided to trust this human. Something about her aura set him at east, however curiosity soon took its toll and he peaked his head out of the top of her coat and meowed curiously at her as they walked down the street.

I'd always considered myself a bit of a gambling man. I went inside of this tiny casino, hoping to win some major dough. That's exactly what I had accomplished. A few hours into the night and I was already half a million richer.

"I think I like this place."
