Imitators in the Coffee Shops Started by: StripheGotti on Jun 16, '17 02:37

Awoke by his nap by a knock on the door he opened his eyes and stretched out in his king sized bed. As he threw on his finely pressed suit he took a drink of freshly squeezed orange juice. He walked into his office and opened the blinds gazing over sky scrapers and people below as he was briefed on some news that occurred while he was asleep

"It turns out that sometime last night there were some men and women in the coffee shop and they were dressed just like you and your right hand man. Sounds like they were trying to create some drama and damage business out here on the East Coast"

He shook his head as he thought about the information but he made a few phone calls as you know how quick information travels. After he got off the phone he walked out of the building to address some of the paparazzi about the issue

You know we all live in a world where trust is paramount and when we don't have it business will fail and a lot of people will die. A lot of people frequent the coffee shops to talk for ease or enjoyment but..

How often do we have to worry that the person we are talking to.. is really them?

Of course there are some security measures in place but we know there is always someone one step ahead by luck or knowledge if there is a will there is a way.

So watch your back as there are doubles, fakes, holograms and thieves among-st us, but then again this is the mafia right? Make sure the person you are talking to is really the person you are talking to, especially the new mobsters trying to earn their rank in this world.

We live in desperate times where the peasants call for war no matter how and the markets call for growth and we choose to communicate and grow.

He watched as some mobsters pushed their way past he paparazzi almost killing one of them. They were asking for photos and about a recent gang murder across the city but he had no time for them as he wanted to hear what others thought about the topic from across the nation from Thug to Godfather

Mista Gotti this is an issue I've previously not seen highlighted, however it is of significant importance as tha' impact can be substantial in our world. I'd like to think tha' communication is strong between our city heads and 'dat things are not so fragile that they will collapse under this risk, but this stretches beyond the prevention of paranoia and bloodshed.

Reputations are at risk of damage in the event an imposter is convincin'  or persistent enough in their agenda. That leaves lastin' marks on an individuals integrity, courage or resolve, irrespective of if the imposter is revealed as such.

Thank ya' Mista Gotti for raising awareness of this.

Kuku- stares at TabithaGato...

Yes, just what he said.

While purchasing flowers near by, Boobie_Clark hears a topic that sounded familiar.

StripheGotti, their called Sour Souls. At least that's what my cousin labeled them in his transcripts. He stated that the outcome is inevitable, in this thing of ours. The trick is to leave emotions with your civilian clothes. Because whatever the outcome win or loose, we all loose in the end.

Boobie_Clark smirkishly hands TabithaGato a flower and apologized for being rude, points at Kuku- shaking his head laughing and proceeds to the cab in wait.

Lushy stands a few feet away behind her boss listening to him talk to the paparazzi about imposters. Drinking from her bottle of wine, she was quite curious to if anyone could actually even successfully be her...or even be her enough to rock the boat. "doubtful" she whispered under her breath. She put her drink down and took a few steps closer.

All we can do is hope that words from imposters don't have major consequences. Actions thankfully did not happen this time around. Heads of families should take an initiative to get to know other family heads, know them well enough to know when they are being tricked by a phony in a long trench coat and a knock off suit bought at the local thrift store.

Thank you for putting these doppelgangers into limelight, I've recently had a similar situation a few days ago where I was staring face to face with roughly four to five people masked looking identical to me in the coffee shop. Of course they lacked this luxuriant hair and charming looks but they could of fooled some of these youngsters around town listening in.

Though I'm sure behind those masks were trolls in disguise looking to have a little fun, I don't think people consider the ramifications of their actions and how it can effect others by playing dress up and impersonating someone else.

Hisoka cracks a grin as he slicks his radiant, red hair backwards outta his eyes. Making his way past the paparazzi leaving after saying his two cents worth.
