Okay,I don't think this idea has been suggested yet,but my suggestion is that there is a certain rank for people to purchase BG's...Made Man,maybe? This would help the RP of the game as in real world mafia you wouldn't see a thug running around with a million BG's. This also solves the problem of CL's demoting their members for them to buy cheaper BG's...

I kind of like this, very reasonable and true about the thug having a million bgs. But maybe not at such a high rank to be able to buy'em, maybe Wise Guy or Earner. I like it :D

I have always kind of thought about this as a good idea. And I agree that maybe at Wise Guy could be the earliest that a person would be able to purchase BG's. Its makes it more realistic, because no matter who a mobsters father was they did not just get all his benefits and recieve tons of BG's or money or anything from the family his dad worked for. He had to earn it all. So I think that this should be implemented so that people who are just Thugs aren't Insanely Well Protected when that is very unrealistic.

I have posted a thread similar  to this and something interesting was said that I agree with know, "Power comes to those with the money". Body Guards don't give a rats ass about what your rank is, they just care about their weekly pay check. Also another thing about RP, if a respected Boss dies, their son is now the man of that family line, loyal body guards of his father would still be in service of the blood line, no matter what! 

I would rather see the removal of the BG price change as you get demoted.
