Anyone here stat geeks or just general throwball fanatics?

The 2017 NFL season is just around the corner, and that means hundreds of mock drafters getting it wrong, setting me up for yet another series of Fantasy Championship e-trophy's to put on my, um, err..e-wall?

I play in a multitude of leagues, and have run a few successful betting parlors here in the past, so figured there might be a bit of interest.

Here's what I propose:

Either 8, 12, 14, or 16 team leagues. This will be a dynasty league, amount of keepers, and whether or not to have IDP rosters,  to be determined by the group.

1 credit (or 500k game cash) buy-in, with the funds going into an escrow (Plan on asking Izzy to be said escrow, once he is healed and not grumpypants)

Payouts determined by size of the league, as follows:

8 = 5 for 1st, 2 for 2nd, 1 for third.

12= 7 for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for third.

14 = 9 for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for third

16 = 11 for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for third.

I require no fee to run the league.  The league will be hosted and run on Fleaflicker. Free to  join, free to play.

Damn, I thought this was going to be about Football. Not Egg throwing.

Although I love both Footballs, the kind of football we are talking about here isn't the kind where someone get's "hurt" every time they get touched by defenders lol.

For others that have no idea what fantasy is about, but might be interested, give me a shout, it's really simple.

Unrelated, I had an owner drop out of my Roto league, anyone interested drop me a line. this league is free.

Would this garner more interest if it was free and I handed out prizes from my own pocket? Preseason starts in 3 weeks, I'd like to get the draft done before then.

Too many injuries in the Preseason. Id say draft after the preseason. 

That's part of the strategy in Dynasty leagues. Drafting after the preseason only leaves a week to draft, almost impossible to do an email draft in that amount of time, and live drafts aren't viable for folks in different time zones.

I missed the part about the dynasty league. That would be hard to keep together over years id imagine. Given this is the first year your doing this. 

Depends how dedicated the other owners are really. I'm in a few leagues that have been together years. The few players interested here are mostly die hard fans, so I'm thinking we can squeeze a couple years at least.

So, either my fantasy season just went to shit, or it got great.

Is there any way to do late entry on this one? I know it's just a day away from the season starting, but this wold be a fun group to play with.

I'm still down to run a league, we'd have to do a live draft as no time for an email one. Believe the season starts the 7th, which is Thursday.
