A Family Reunion Started by: CletusKasady on Jul 02, '17 19:21

Cletus put the cap back on the marker and stood back to admire his handiwork. Each person, bound and gagged before him was now properly decorated for the day's festivities. Tossing the marker over his shoulder, since he wouldn’t be needed it anymore. “Right.” he said as he moved forward and started removing the gags off his victims.

A woman coughed, gasping for air before managing to choke out,  "Cletus! stop what are you doing,  we're your family for god’s sake! I'm your mother!" she broke down into sobs as she turned her head to see the others captive with her.  Another of the captives spoke, a man this time "I always knew there was something wrong with you, you sick twisted freak! We should've never kept you or had your slut of a mother swallow you!" which caused Cletus to turn his head slowly and look over at his father, Francis. His gaze narrowed and he felt the usual hatred for the man rush through him. “Oh Daddy dearest, I am going to enjoy doing this to you most of all,” he said before he turned his attention back to removing the rest of the gags from his family.

The clearly disturbed Cletus was muttering to himself as he removed their gags. He didn’t listen to their protests, their pleas or even their cries for mercy. He stopped back and looked Francis right in the eyes, "Now, now, father back to a few moments ago is that anyway to talk to your son? Y'know We've heard kids that come from abusive situations often end up a little," He paused for a moment, tilting his head and giving his father a cold smile,"Maladjusted".

He walked backwards, eyes still locked on his father, boring into him until he reached the table that had his pistols on it. He circled it, picking up one of the weapons and systematically loading it while he started to speak. "Anyways, family,” he sneered as he said the word, “ you always said We'd amount to nothing well guess what? We got a job!” he nodded his head and set the one loaded pistol down, reaching for another, “Yeh, someone named Princesa hired us, but the problem is she's not really a fan of the whole knife approach.”

He rolled his eyes before dragging a finger down the side of his face and across his throat, “Something about how it taking too long to do properly, and creates too much mess.” he shook his head as if he couldn’t understand. “Long story short, she said we need to learn how to do our craft their way and we figured after how much you guys always wanted lil’ ol’ us to settle down with a job,” he set the pistol down and leaned forward staring at his family, “that you'd be more than willing to help us become a better shot" Cleatus nodded his head as if it was all matter of fact. This is when the bullseyes that he had drawn on their foreheads began to make sense to them, causing everyone to start panicking.

The woman's eyes widened in fear the longer Cletus spoke. When he was younger, even before he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, she always knew there was something off about him, something sinister, but this was too much, this was their family. "Cletus, baby, I know things have been tough but you don't have to do this.” She struggled against her bonds, pleading with him, “please, honey, it's not too late" she sobbed.

Cletus giggled as his mother begged "Mom, mom, you've got it all wrong. we don't have to do this,” he shook his head, “We WANT to do this.” he picked up the guns from the table, holding them, getting used to their weight. “You and the rest of this pathetic alcoholic, drug addicted, compulsive gambling trash are the last thing holding us back from truly bonding!” he tossed his head back and laughed, before going silent and looking at his captives once more.

“We can't really become Carnage incarnate as long as we have attachments, and as disgusting as you all are, you are the only real attachments we have. My other has told me, they've shown me that nothing we do matters only chaos and Carnage.” he finished the statement with a click as he took the safety off the first gun.

He pointed it at the man, Francis, who had spoken up earlier. "Now pops, you weren't being very nice and I've always hated you the most so you can go first" He pulled the trigger firing a round right in the knee of his father. Throwing his hands up with disappointment he said, with a noise of frustration, "See guys?  I really need this practice! I missed and he's still alive and has to suffer through that.” he shook his head, “Oh well, let's try again shall we?" With that he fired another one this time into the stomach. "Well gut wounds do kill but they take so long and are excruciatingly painful. But I only have so many bullets! Who’s next?” he looked up and down the line, ignoring his fathers sobs of pain and then smiled, “ah well, uncle you're next!"

After an hour of teasing, maiming and murdering, there was only one captive left. His mother. She was terrified that she’d be given the same treatment, that her death would be slow and painful. But when it came time, Cleatus only lifted the gun, looked down the sights and placed the bullet cleanly in the center of the bullseye he had drawn there.

Putting the guns down, he started whistling to himself as he grabbed the canister of kerosene and started splashing it around the basement of his family’s old home. On the walls, the floors and the bodies. Tossing the cannister to the side he headed for the stairs where he lit a book of matches. Letting it drop from his fingers, he turned without another look and headed up stairs as the room turned into a blazing inferno. At the door it may have been a trick of light but one could almost swear a tear drop fell from his eye.

Wondering if the story the man spoke of in the street was true or not he decided to ask a few questions.

"As marvelous as the story was, I am a little concerned. Hopefully such brutality would be saved for those Durden scum that walk our streets."

Lighting up a Lucky Strike,

"So, what inspired you to write such a thing?"

Deviate took a seat on a bench and waited to see what else was said.

Looking out of the tinted car window at the building, she swirled her glass, the ice clinking around. Nights like this were not her favorite, but they are necessary. She sighed deeply, downing the last of the dark liquid inside of her cup. Before she could even blink, she heard a piercing scream coming from outside. She could see from the illuminated window the restrained victims. She leaned up, looking at her driver above the partition.

"Nigel, what are your thoughts on killing methods? I know you were once a military man, yes?"

Turning to look at the boss lady, Nigel nodded his head, hesitantly.

"Yes ma'am, I was. Not a day goes by that I don't think of the men that I have killed."

He turned back to look at her, a wicked smile creeping up on his face.

"I think about all the ways I took their life, but my most used method was with my machete. Quick, efficient, and oh so satisfying. Why do you ask, boss?"

Princesa smiled back at him surprisingly. This new found information pleased her, knowing now what this man is capable of.

"Well, that is why we are here, my dear. CletusKasady is still getting his footing in this family. He was just a blood thirsty mad man before...but now hes a blood thirsty mobster...my blood thirsty mobster. When I found him stabbing a homeless man in the back alley beside the HQ, I knew I had to have him in our family. He has the drive, but he needs to perfect his method. The slice and dice can only work for so long, he needs to be a 'shoot em' up' type of guy. Hence, why I told him to practice."

She paused for a second, to look out the window as she sees CletusKasady point the gun at his father, hearing the shot echo through the air.

"The last thing I need is for him to get caught by the cops for making too much of a mess. Jobs need to be quick and easy. He can have his play times but he also needs to know how we work here. Orange would not be pleased if this were to cause a big stir. We don't need to have the juice loose."

Skipping out of the house CletusKasady seemed exuberant singing "Joy to the world daddy is dead we shot him in the head.....well not really but it sounds better than let him bleed out of a stomach wound" pausing to think "no wait that does sound pretty good hahaha."

Laughing while heading towards the car he knew Princesa might be a little irritated that he took so long in finishing everything off but if he had to do this boring point and shoot method he still wanted to have some fun with it. He figured if they were still in the car waiting they couldn't be too upset and figured he'd deal with it if she brought it up.

Opening the door and getting in he looked at Princesa, without even so much as a glance at Nigel and said "whats next boss?"
