Ps. This will not be as fancy as the MR meet where we rent a place. If you come to london you will be in charge of your own accomidations. Unless I have moved out by then, and then you need a sleeping bag to sleep on my floor and a nice letter to my husband about how Epicly amazing I am for doing this. 

pps. The odds of me moving out before this are pretty fucking slim, so assume you're in london for the day and drunkenly traveling back to where ever or getting a place to stay.

I would hazard a guess that vast majority of UK players are not from the London locale.  London also smells, is expensive and sucks much ass.

I would wager there would be far more interest if one was done in Manchester or Liverpool (or somewhere equally Northern)

Manchester sounds like a fair shout to me. Or Scouseland tbh. I was ALMOST in Scouseland today due to my satnav forgetting how to get me from Wales to Scotland, apparently it wanted me to detour in Liverpool instead.
