"HANK!!  get in here now"

Kharon's voice rang out through the HQ, a sound that always made me wonder if I had been caught skimming money from the bank again.  I have told him many times that I can't be trusted with access to the cash reserves, but some people never learn.

I hop up off the couch and make my way into Kharon's office.  As I enter the room I can tell this isn't about money.  He has that "I'm about to ask you to do something you really don't want to do" look on his face.  Almost a smile, but more like a smug grin.  The kind of look your doctor gives you when your tests come back with some rare STD that can only be contracted from some deviant sexual behavior.

"What's up boss?  You need me to clean the toilets again?  Or mop the floors in the brothel?"

Kharon stares at me for what feels like a minute, shaking his head before speaking.

"I don't know why I'm doing this to be honest.  You have proven to be unreliable and more than a little unpredictable.  You make terrible life decisions and seem to be unable to avoid temptation on every level.  But you are loyal.  And I know that any time I truly need you, you will be there, by my side, ready to do whatever I ask.  So I need you to do something for me.  We are moving to Paradise and I will be assuming the role of Godfather.  The HQ I have found will not be big enough for all of us, so you will need to find a second location, one with an office you will be able to use to run your crew."

It takes a few seconds for me to realize what has just happened.  I look around the room to see if this is some kind of prank.  Kharon is a wise, logical and experience leader.  He doesn't make mistakes and has a shit sense of humor when it comes to my behavior.

"Well boss, I must admit I am more than a little surprised you are giving me this chance.  This is the kind of responsibility I generally avoid at all costs.  But you have built one hell of a family here.  So my goal is to keep building in a way that will make you proud.  I will not fuck this up."

Kharon extends his hand and with a firm grasp, it's done.  

"Congratulations Godfather Kharon, you have worked hard to earn your place in this world.  The Golden Bough will always be our home, even if we now sleep under a new roof.  And on that topic, I know just the place, we won't even have to change the sign.  Remember the old adult books store off the highway down towards the airport?  It was called The Cunning Linguists.  I bought it a few months back with plans to open another brothel, we can run our operations there."

DonShaw sitting inside his small office in the new Headquarters hears the conversation between Kharon and Hank_Moody.

He quickly runs to the store and tailors and back to get gifts, walking into the office he hands hank a bottle of vintage whisky,

Congratulations my friend looks like you will be spending less times in the brothels but you will do amazing, 

Turning to Kharon he hands them a Golden Flag for atop of the ship congratulations boss all the hard work has paid off.

Finally the moving was done. The trucks left for Summerlin and Kharon walked towards Hank_Moody's headquarters. The beautiful sign above the door says The Cunning Linquists. 

Inside the headquarters Kharon saw his former members working hard to get everything in place for the new operations to start tomorrow.

Kharon walked towards Hank_Moody and gave him the bottle of whiskey he brought for him to congratulate him on the new headquarters. 

"Good luck here Hank_Moody, you have a wonderful place choosen to be your new headquarters and you have a bunch of fantastic people working for you. Paradise will be great again."

With these words Kharon returned home. He had still a lot of paperwork to do. 

"Congratulations Hank! Hard work pays off in the end, keep at it!"

After such a few sad days it was nice to see good things happening around, it sure did lift the mood when times are hard. Donnie was excited to see how these newly authed crews will flourish in the coming days
