Everyone in this world of ours has a goal. Whether they want to admit it or not is their business but everyone wants to achieve something. Person A wants to grow up to be a successful businessman. Person B wants to stand on top of his enemies and be victorious. Person C wants to form relationships with everyone and become a strong member of the community.  More ambitious people may have multiple goals or may consider individual goals as stepping stones to an overall plan of achieving the greatest things in the world.  There are limitless possibilities depending on your personality and your reasoning of what “success” is.

With that in mind I ask, is your goal something that dominates your day to day thoughts on how you interact within this thing of ours or do you work without your goal being more than an after thought?

Inherently, there is no correct answer to such a question because a person who focuses on their goal can use that as motivation to work with their family. Also a person who does not focus solely on achieving great things can do so without even realizing it because they naturally do things that earn the respect and trust of their associates and families.

Feel free to discuss the topic and don’t feel any pressure to bring up what your goal or goals actually are. A person’s goal is their own and its fair enough if you don’t want the public to know what it is but I would like to hear people’s thoughts on the approach they use as they attempt to achieve their goals.

My goal is nothing more than a vague concept of success.  Ideally I'd like to leave a bit of a legacy behind for my next of kin, but nothing special.  Perhaps I should focus my efforts more?

My goal is to help and watch Las Vegas thrive and become stronger than it has ever been before, to do that and to do my part in helping i aspire to one day becoming the leader of a crew, of being a fair but firm leader who is loyal to his associates, who hopefully will be loyal in return. I dream of being a leader who inspires his men and stands equal to them as their friend and as their boss. So yes, in a nutshell i hope to one day become a leading member of the Las Vegas families.

My main goAl is to basically help build up Philly into the great city it has the potential to become an to achieve this I vow to build my self up first as I'm power an dignity because without power you wouldn't be considered nothing N without dignity where would your pride be to complete your goal Many people have big goals an things but the big question is how are you goin to achieve you goal

I have many different goals that range from being top earner in my crew, to building relationships. I usually set one long term goal then focus on small goals I need to knock out to get there. Achieving these goals really helps me stay motivated. 

Goals change as circumstances in this world change.

When I originally joined Iota I was a bit unsure where I wanted to go. I knew I wanted to become a part of Chicago and help build the city up but I also wondered if such a place was available in an already established city. After a few months work I had ranked up, slowly, and got taken into the inner circle. At that point I had achieved my whole goal by getting put into a position where I could ensure Chicago was in the best possible position it could be. The goal then was to just continue building and offer everything I had. Then came 3 days ago. My whole goal, for 19 hours or so, was to live. I wanted to live not so I had saved my own skin but because that was the best possible way of me protecting Chicago and it's allies. That was the goal of everyone I spoke to in the place where we met during that time. I was incredibly humbled to see the effort that went into winning that war and securing a future for those who lost their lives.

Then came the call from Iota. He asked if I would like to become his captain, set up a family in extension of The Crackerjack Coalition. I accepted his proposal and moved out of the HQ to my own building down the road. It was empty, a bit damp and not the nicest place to be on your own. But it has potential. Mark my words. At that point, and for the last time in my life so far, the goalposts moved so the goal became different. I am still loyal to Chicago and Iota but my goal now is to ensure my family is the best it can be and the be the best there is. No-one said goals should be easy but what is the point in aiming low?

The point I am trying to make is if you set yourself into a one goal mind then you'll find it is outdated quickly and life becomes unrewrading and stale. You should always be striving to better yourself and your goals. This world is not rigid. Things change quickly and you have to adapt to these changes or find yourself taking a swim. The first goal you set yourself is important. Gives you something to strive for. But what will really make you in this world is what you do when you hit it.

As my dear leader Scandia has pointed out goals change, I have started out in this life with an aim, to obtain that aim I have set myself a series of goals to reach which will help me reach my aim. My aim will rarely change simply because it is quite simple however the goals I set will change on a daily or weekly basis depending on my circumstances, however the aim will always be at the forefront of my mind.

His aim is to please me.

Goals here can be defined on many levels.  My long term goal? Of course it's to bring honor to my Family, my Bloodline, and myself....in that order.  My short term goals? To gain favor in my Godfather's eyes, work hard and become something he can trust and depend on.   My ultimate goals? Money, Power, Respect, and eventually an HQ to call my own.

Being a lowly associate of a prominent business woman in Chicago I have to say that my goals are very simple. To do the best that I can and prove that I am worthy to possibly one day be considered a business partner rather than associate. Come that day I may have further asperations but I do like to think that when that time comes I will still just like to continue about my work. Building up my own reputation and hopefully measuring up to the reputation of those around me.
