Tenley had been walking around listening to the speeches. Some even mentioned her by name and that made her pause. She was always curious to know what other people thought they knew about her. It was one of these speeches that sparked a conversation with someone whom had mentioned wanting to know what she brought to the table. As she sat down she began to pen up a speech she would deliver at a later date.

Her pen flew over the page as her mind began to become unfurled into rows of letters... words. It just poured out of her.

"What do I think I bring to the table? I don't think I have been asked that. I am certainly sure I have asked people what they thought I brought to the table. Kudos to someone who made me really sit down and contemplate just that.

Many may think that I bring just another roof over some drifters heads, and I do that but it is not all of who I am or what I can do. I am vocal. Above all else I do love getting involved in the discussions that our community has. The different view points, the factors that perhaps I hadn't thought of before then that can jump out at me. Discussions are something I am very passionate about.

Often times my friends will joke that I have high standards. I do. For many reasons I cannot stand to watch hand outs. I feel like everyone should be working for anything they get. No coat tail riding, just plain old fashioned hard work. I value hard work, because I work hard. I value loyalty (contrary to popular belief), and will always put my family ahead of myself.

These are just the tip of the ice berg. Every person has their things that they would use to define themselves. I don't think I could adequately define myself as just one thing or another, but as a collection of things that are constantly trying to grow, expand and become better than I was yesterday.

Tenley read and reread her words a million times over before she settled with it. It was bare bones and her own reflection of herself. Giving many things a fair acknowledgement she had left some things out. She would hate to ruin all the fun of letting people figure out what she was truly like themselves.

It sounds like Miss Tenley brings somethin' which is always welcome in this world.

Regardless of your stance, the way you operate or tha' results you produce, if you bring a set of values, morals and standards and live by them with integrity, nobody can knock your performance. I'd like ta' see more of this, so we can understand what it is our leaders stand for. If your standards are ta' sleep through your time here, so be it. But make it known that you're out to offer a minimal experience ta' your members and will still expect them ta' come runnin' to your aid when the bullets are flyin'.

Are your morals such that you'll turn on your friends at the first sight of money or trouble? So be it, but don't expect your line ta' hold much weight followin' that decision. I've spoken freely of my admiration for integrity, and I'd like ta' believe we can see that in tha' young woman who currently is flyin' solo in Philadelphia.
