Family journals documented the betrayal of LA CL Kuku- by James.  Kuku- had set up an HQ having agreed a ceasefire with LA's leading light, James.  This was despite receiving advice from a variety of sources that James was trigger-happy and devoid of a strategic brain.

Kuku- was shot dead late one night, his fledgling career as a CL over.

Family journals also showed that Kuku- advised James that, if he was doublecrossed, friends, associates and relatives of Kuku- would work hard to punish James for what he did.

So it was that Kuku-'s son and some friends starting looking towards LA.  An analysis of the entire city was carried out and some conclusions reached:

1.  James was and is one of the safest CLs in this thing of ours.  His death can only come about by someone from within his city - any outside interference would cause huge loss of life.

2.  Not so much as a sit-down could be arranged to attempt mediation by friends & associates of Kuku- James was within his rights as per this thing of ours to do what he did.

3.  Whilst James was safe, other families and CLs in LA/DT were not.  Brent-Corrigan and JimmyDarmody were privy to Kuku-'s murder

4.  James has serious financial problems, exacerbated in no small way by his inability to turn his stewardship of a city into the cash-cow that it could and should be.

5.  Everyone in LA/DT is paranoid - the overall boss of the city sets the dysfunctional tone and it trickles downwards.

Armed with this information, a plan was created...
