James the Judas: LA; City of Lost Souls pt 2 Started by: MrKuku on Jul 15, '17 18:19

The Alliance against James quickly realised that getting to him would be difficult, if not impossible.  The alliance didn't have the firepower.  The alliance realised, however, that it had what James didn't: access to very significant sums of cash.

And, of course, strategic guile.

Therefore, a hit was placed on JimmyDarmody - $5M.  Jimmy was informed of this immediately, he bought the hit off and aggressively challenged the Alliance.  Jimmy was told that his card was marked.  That James would kill him for money.  Jimmy on one level understood this and foolishly tried to doublecross the Alliance - feeding information back to James, whilst pretending to the Alliance that he would attack James, but a few days later.

Meanwhile, the Alliance approached Brent suggesting that James was going to kill him, so he should get to James first, and approached James, offering him cash to kill Brent.

Chaos ensued...  One of the problems of having a trigger-happy dude at the helm of a city is that everyone is tense and fears the worst.

This fear became the Alliance's best friend.

Money was offered for the hit on Brent, but James took him out for spurious reasons, allegedly unconnected to the Alliance.  The Alliance cannot confidently claim responsibility for Brent-Corrigan's death, save for poisoning the general atmosphere in LA and making life very difficult.

Jimmy, however, was taken out at the behest of the Alliance, by now in regular contact with James and for a scandalous sum of cash.

$6.6M - that's exactly how much it took to sway James into attaching a loyal, hard-working ally.

The Alliance holds records to confirm this.

And, now, we are where we are.  James is a Don, presiding over a grandiose cemetery spanning two cities.

James was warned that murdering Kuku- would bring him serious trouble, and so it has come to pass.

James remains an enemy of the Alliance, and to anyone that is foolish enough to set up in LA or Detroit.

This was not a letdown, 8/8 would bitch again.

Your bloodline seems to have put on airs in the last few months, Kuku. The historical records at the library mention an old group called the Plumbers; every few months they would come out from the hole they were hiding in to bitch about whoever happened to have displeased them and swear absolute and complete vengeance on them. This 'vengeance,' if it can be called such, would have bodyguards being shot every couple of weeks for a few months, and then silence. This 'Alliance' is nothing more than the Plumbers, rebranded with a fancier coat of paint. I expect you to crawl back under the house in a couple of months.

Report Post Tip
The Plumbers took down a city not so long ago.

Anyway, this alliance isn't claiming what will be done,it's demonstrating what's already happened.

Dub couldn't contain his laugher.

Jesus Christ, that's rich, "Took down a city not too long ago". Kuku's line is doing it again.

Dub walks off continuously laughing to himself.

Report Post Tip

Oh, Dub, what did my relatives to to yours in a previous life?

As for that city take down, here is a reminder...

Report Post Tip

Kuku, I think you genuinely have me confused for someone else... Dub chuckles. I have no recollection of that.

Report Post Tip

Dub, you realise that this discussion isn't about you, yes?

This city is about James, Jimmy and the clusterfuck or LA/DT

Report Post Tip

Oh, Dub, what did my relatives to to yours in a previous life?

As for that city take down, here is a reminder...

Kuku, you realize you brought up the past here...? Keep up with the conversation, buddy.

Report Post Tip

"Jesus Christ, that's rich, "Took down a city not too long ago". Kuku's line is doing it again.

Dub walks off continuously laughing to himself."

You brought it up.  I merely corrected you.

Report Post Tip

Dub, just give Kuku a minute, all of his diabolical plans makes him lose track of things sometimes, speak slower and he'll catch up

Report Post Tip

Also, side note, sorry for leaving this thought out of my previous little bit

How many times can you say The Alliance in one speech?

Report Post Tip

Got some OOCitis there, Dub?  It was three years ago.  The last time The Plumbers made an announcement, it was to point out that they'd taken a city.

Report Post Tip

How else are you gonna get your evil organization heard? The Legion of Doom does the same thing.

Wait.. have you ever seen The Alliance members and The Legion of Doom members in the same room...?

Report Post Tip

My god, Butthead... You've cracked the code!

MrKuku OOCitis. Never heard of it. Some new disease the government is pushing on us? Medical industry is a racket now.

Yes... Three years ago. "Not too long ago" seems to me that the Plumbers are no more than crack-showing, Fair-weather terrorists ready to jump on whatever disasters may afall people and claim responsibility. I can appreciate the occasional backroom politicizing one can perform, but to claim "Not too long ago" you cleaned out a city then it turns out the last one was three years ago; either you've got a terrible memory or you're just over-embellishing to try and strike fear into people's hearts... Which, of course, was my duty to disprove. Thanks for the help!

Report Post Tip

Butthead, you're an ass.

Play that ball, not the man.  The Alliance are an alliance.  That's what it means, it an't rocket science.

James made himself an enemy, so he was targeted.  His city, simply put, is now a less prosperous and a more dangerous place thanks to the alliance of interested persons, known as The Alliance.

Report Post Tip

I'd wish for proof that his city is less prosperous and more dangerous... It appears LA is doing just peachy, actually.

Report Post Tip

Dub, three years in the grander scheme of things, really isn't long.

Therefore, it is rather obvious that you are and idiot.

Report Post Tip

Oh. Defending by using the "well, you know, in the grander scheme of things it isn't a long time!" approach, I see... It's hard to sound menacing when the last noteworthy thing you've ever been apart of was three years ago and it was done through other people and not by yourself.

And yes. Because I'm not constantly blabbering in the streets about how awesome my line is and how I have no scandals but others have so many scandals themselves, I am the idiot... I am beginning to see your logic, Kuku... Sweet, sweet knowledge.

Report Post Tip

The discussion was about what The Plumbers did, not I.

Jesus, you give Irish people a bad name, dumbass
